Bobby is a true North End local! As we were on the tour people were constantly saying hello to him. We left absolutely STUFFED and had a great variety of Italian food and sweets. Meeting Bobby was definitely a highlight of the trip!

Itinerary
The North End Boston Food Tour explores the heart of Boston’s Little Italy and introduces the charm and allure of the rich history, vibrant culture, and tantalizing aromas that define this neighborhood. This tour shares stories of its immigrant past, cultural evolution, and the role it played in shaping Boston’s identity. Learn about the festivals, events, and traditions that contribute to its lively atmosphere. We will capture the essence of community celebrations and the warmth that permeates the area and unveil lesser-known gems within Little Italy – charming alleyways, art installations, or tucked-away spots that offer a more intimate experience. We will venture off the beaten path to the mom and pop shops that are still a big part of this neighborhood and we will provide practical advice for those planning a visit to the North End’s Little Italy, including the best times to explore, recommended dishes to try, and any upcoming events. I’m a lifelong local and guide all tours.

Very much enjoyed the North End Boston Food Tour: Pizza, Pasta, Pastry, Wine, Apertivo tour with Bobby Agrippino of North End Boston Food Tours. He was friendly, courteous and very passionate about the subject. His parents were born and raised in the neighborhood. HE was born and raised in the neighborhood! He knew all the best places to get food and other items and shared a lot of history of the neighborhood. I felt that I could see the way 'it used to be'. Could not walk down a single street without someone stopping him to say hello and tell us what a great guy he was. I would do it again!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 STARS! What an incredible experience! Our North end food tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Bobby was fantastic, knowledgeable, entertaining, and truly made the entire experience special. The food was outstanding, and the portions were so generous! From delicious food and wonderful wine to limoncello and the most amazing pastries, every stop was better than the last. What made this tour even more special was learning about the rich history along the way. It was the perfect combination of incredible food, great drinks, fascinating history, and wonderful company. I honestly cannot recommend this tour enough. Best Mother daughter day!!! If you’re visiting Boston, this is an absolute MUST! Come hungry because you will not be disappointed! 10 stars out of 5! One of the highlights of our trip!
My mom and I had a fantastic time on Bobby’s North End food tour! Bobby knew the neighborhood inside and out, and my favorite part was hearing his personal stories about growing up on those very streets. It felt like we were getting to know the North End through someone who had lived its stories. The food was great at every stop. In fact, we enjoyed the restaurants so much that we went back to every one of them later in our trip. If you want to eat well and hear what it was like to grow up in Boston’s North End, I’d highly recommend this tour.
Tour was excellent! Nice variety of food and plenty of it. Definitely a fun way to experience the North End!
Food is filling and very good. We 4 Senior ladies highly recommend. Our tour guide grew up here and gave us so much history I would have never known.
Great tour with great history. Don't eat before you go because you will leave stuffed. The pizza and pasta were great. I would do it again
Not much Boston revolutionary history, but plenty of history about North Boston. More than enough really good food.
Our guide did a fantastic job of sharing history, the food was fantastic, PLENTY of it, and we had no problem getting from place to place as a group. Excellent tour- highly recommend.
Bobby was an amazing guide. It was as good as everyone says. He shared real history from a unique perspective, yet included many cultures and perpectives to create a useful and enjoyable history lesson. The food was great. We went back to one restaurant the next day.. the food was so good.
Best food tour I’ve ever done. We had a great afternoon in the North End and made some new friends..
Great information and eating tour through Little Italy in Boston. Bobby, the tour guide gave great life stories of all he has seen and lived in Little Italy, a great storyteller.
We had such an awesome time! The food and drinks were incredible. Everything was organized really well and it was the perfect amount of time. Absolutely worth the price
Bobby is a master of making you feel right at home while being very knowledgeable regarding the food and ingredients you are experiencing. MAKE SURE YOU COME HUNGRY. Highly recommend to any and all to see the North End through Bobby’s personal history!
Excellent tour of North End including the history and interesting info about the neighborhoods and businesses. Amazing food and visits to restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, liquor stores… our tour guide, Bobby was amazing!!!
Best Food tour with our guide “Bobby Agrippino” ask for him . He was great ! Patient, knowledgeable & knew a lot of old facts about Italian neighborhood🇮🇹! I highly recommend this North End Boston Food Tour ! Ciao
I loved this food tour! Great tour guide that is a local from the area. He not only guided us to great food spots but had lots of information on the history and personal life experiences from the area. Every spot we went to was a great experience. The food was amazing at each place and you definitely don’t leave hungry! Plenty of food options that you have, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, cannolis and more! It was so good and loved hearing the family stories behind each place we stopped at. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Fantastic experience. Expected great food but the personalized history of the area and Bobby’s personal background gave the impression that you were living the experience first hand. Don’t miss this opportunity.
This tour was everything we were hoping for. Bobby is a true native and provided a great experience. We really felt connected to the North End community and the food was all amazing!
Guide is kind and knowledgeable. Food is delicious! There is plenty of food and the tour is well paced!
I can't say enough good things about Bobby's food tour! It was by far the highlight of our trip. What sets it apart is the personal touch; seeing Bobby interact with his family and friends makes you feel like an honorary member of the neighborhood. The North End's history is fascinating, and Bobby is a master storyteller. Come hungry!!
Hands down, the BEST food tour !!! ** Who knew being tourists in our own backyard could be so much fun! 😂 We grew up just about 30 minutes outside of Boston, now live in New Hampshire, and decided to play tourists for the day in the North End. Soooooo we glad we did! 😊 The food was AMAZING, the history was awesome , and the owner/tour guide, Bobby Aggripino, absolutely made the experience! The stories, the history & one of the highlights was we actually ran into his mother, his sister, & his sister-in-law along the way! 😂 Everywhere we went, somebody knew Bobby! We started wondering if there was anyone in the North End who DIDN’T know him! 🤣 But that’s exactly what made this tour so special. It wasn’t just about eating incredible food & trust me, we did plenty of that!!! It was like taking a walk through the old neighborhood with a friend who had a story around every corner. You really got a feel for what growing up in Boston’s North End was all about. Nothing felt scripted or touristy. Just great food, great company, and some good old-fashioned Boston personality! We’ve been on food tours before, and **this was hands down the BEST one yet** We’d do it all over again in a heartbeat! If you’re thinking about booking, don’t think twice ! Do it ….. **Bobby, thanks for an absolute blast! You made a couple of NH transplants feel like locals again 😂❤️🍝🇮🇹
Fantastic food tour. Bobby (the owner) runs the tour and along with the history of the neighborhood adds personal anecdotes as he grew up in the area. Do not miss this tour - come with an appetite as there is a lot of great food at restaurants owned by local Italian families. Includes a Cannoli at Mike’s Pastries
Best food tour by far. Makes it an even better experience when our tour guide is a local with decades of personal stories with history and background.
Don’t miss out on this tour with Bobby! Lots of history and lots of food and a little bit of libations was a perfect mix! Family friendly as well. Perfect way to see the city and eat some delicious food along the way!
Five stars aren't enough! ***** If you’re looking for a North End food tour in Boston, ask for Bobby! Six Texas women rolled into Boston to celebrate our friend Barb’s 60th birthday, sporting ridiculous lobster hats and ready for an adventure—and Bobby delivered an absolutely FABULOUS experience! Hearing him talk about his family was one of our favorite parts of the tour. His love for his roots was genuine, entertaining, and heartwarming. Grazie, Bobby, for making Barb's 60th birthday trip so special. We came from Texas as tourists and left feeling like honorary Italians. Now, somebody pass us another cannoli!
Bobby was great tour guide. The food was great.
Elizabeth was an amazing and fun guide ! We had a great tour throughout Boston and ate amazing food and learned so much about the history of the city! I highly recommend this tour!
This tour was excellent, but not what I was expecting. The food was great, but what made it so good and unique was that our guide grew up in North end. The history of the area was really neat, and meeting the 3rd and 4th generation of local business owners was very nostalgic.
This was an amazing tour! Bobby is full of history from his life spent in the area. He has good relationships with the aves he took us to. The food was incredible and all of the stops were great. Just book those. You won’t be sorry!
This is a must do trip in Boston. Bobby's stories about the area and knowledge about the various establishments is an additional bonus to the food that is sampled. Be sure to come hungry, these are not light appetizers that you are sampling.
Bobby is just a fantastic guide and knows the best places to stop. Highly encourage anyone with a few hours to do this tour. We booked late and he was accommodating.
An absolutely wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to explore the North End and learn the best places to eat. Our tour guide Bobby was very nice and shared a lot of his experiences growing up in that area as well its history. The various places we got to sample food from were incredible! (There’s a LOT of food, so make sure to come hungry and pace yourself) Another part of the tour that was great was getting to meet different people participating in the tour. So it not only had great food, rich history, but also a sense of community.
The guide, Bobby, is da best! Knowledgeable and passionate about the neighborhood and the businesses there. Come hungry; he’s gonna feed you well!’
Great food tour! The portions were enough to fill you up. It was a lot of fun to learn about the history of the north end from someone who grew up there. The food was excellent!! Loved the variety. We brought two teens with us. They liked the food but felt like the tour was too long. The adults thought it was nice not to have to rush.
Bobby was an awesome tour guide! The food was great and way larger portions than the normal food tour. Pizza, Pasta, Italian sandwich, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, spirits, wine, a rice ball, and a whole cannoli!
Great tour around the North End (Little Italy). Bobby made it fun and interesting and the food was excellent. Highly recommended
Bobby has the most amazing food tour. We have done it two years in a row and I would do it a third time. He shares firsthand stories of his childhood growing up in the North End and shares food and locations with only the best quality products. I will continue to order coffee and other items I found on the tour. Truly one of a kind!
Thank you. Bobby was great. I know a guy
The tour was great. So much more food than most food tours. Our first stop was for pizza, pasta and Chianti already fulfilling two thirds of the tour’s title! The food was great. We went to an Italian deli and tasted olive oil, balsamic vinegar and had an Italian sub. We went to the oldest coffee shop and were given a 1/4 pound of the house blend to bring home. We went to a wine store and sampled Lemocello, We ended the tour at Mike’s Pastry Shop. We were able to bypass the long line, given a bag of cookies and a cannoli. We were beyond stuffed. Now we know a guy. Bobby was born and bred North End Italian. He told us great stories and information about the neighborhood and restaurant recommendations. Bobby passed friends on the journey and several times people commented that he was the best!
My friend was coming up from NC and wanted to do this tour. I live north of here and never had done it before, so I was also looking forward to it. The guide Bobby was great, as he grew up in the North End and still lives there. He made this fun. So much history to show & talk about. Food was great & so was the company! It's a must if visiting from out of town!
Amazing Food Tour. Bobby not only is educational and makes it fun, he also shares his own stories of being here as a kid. And oh wow! The food is fantastic. A must do when visiting Boston.
Hands down, best tour. Rob paints a fascinating picture of growing up in the North End as he introduces you to the most delicious and authentic food in Boston.
Great experience. Bobby is a great guide to the North End and makes everything very personal. My wife and I attended the NE Food tour as part of our anniversary trip. We would definitely do it again.
THIS is THE tour you've been waiting for!! We've taken tours all over the world and this was the best. Bobby grew up in Little Italy and his love for the area is apparent. What made the tour (besides the awesome food) was his storytelling of the area. The food was so good, could not pick a favorite. You will not be disappointed by this tour.
Awesome food tour with BIG portions! Lots of great history from our guide who is passionate about his neighborhood! We really enjoyed ourselves!
This was truly a wonderful experience! Fantastic tour guide (who grew up in the neighborhood), a delicious assortment of foods, and lots of history and culture lessons. Bobby made this a memorable occasion by sharing his family ties to the North End and sharing his knowledge about the places he showed us and the dishes we tried. The cannoli at the end was particularly yummy! We HIGHLY recommend this tour.
Totally loved the pizza and pasta. We would definitely recommend this tour to our family and friends.
Highlight of our trip to Boston! Bobbie’s stories of the neighborhood’s history + authentic food!! A+
We are big on food tours when we visit a new city. This was my first trip to Boston, so my wife looked for the best, and most highly rated food tour in the city. We had a wonderful time on this tour, and left absolutely stuffed! Bobby grew up in the neighborhood, and seemed to know everybody! Didn’t have to wait in any lines, got served right away, and wonderful commentary on the history of that very unique neighborhood. If you’re on the fence, do it!
