This was an amazing experience! I celebrated my 40th birthday in Salem and commemorated it with family photos from Witch Pix. There were 12 adults and 3 babies. They found perfect outfits for everyone, were time efficient without rushing, and made it a fun time. The photos came out wonderfully. Thank you for being the highlight of our trip!!

This was the highlight of my trip! I can't say enough about Witch Pix.. Costumes were very impressive the staff were so helpful in completing your over all look. The photo shoot was so much fun. They were eager to make you feel comfortable and are accommodating to what I was looking for in our photo session. The Quality of the photos were out of this world. I will definitely do another session the next time I am in Salem.

Definitely book ahead of time, thankfully we did, because they were completely booked solid when we arrived. Even with the crowd, everyone gets a private area to change, which I really appreciated. The whole team had such fun, lively energy, and the costume selection felt endless. The staff knew exactly what would photograph well and helped us pull together outfits that made the whole experience even better. The space itself is gorgeous. Each room feels authentically styled, and there are so many props to choose from that it’s impossible not to have fun with it. Since it was the first day of their busiest season, things moved pretty quickly. We were there for over an hour, but a few photos still caught little things, a bra strap here, a mid‑blink there, that probably would’ve been fixed with a slower pace. That said, we got tons of poses and all the digital files, so I’m still more than happy. It was such a fun Salem experience, one we’ll genuinely cherish for years. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Was on the waiting list and got the email to confirm my requested appointment. This was a surprise birthday gift for my sister while we were visiting Salem from Georgia. We had such an amazing time. The staff at Witch Pix are incredible. I’m bad with names but our personal dresser was awesome! She picked the perfect ensembles for both my sister and me. Our photographer was wonderful! She posed us well and was so patient. We loved our pictures and definitely want to come back again. Thank you for such a fabulous experience.

Awful experience. Being a first timer and not knowing my way around Salem was a disadvantage when my phone battery died. I had no way of finding the location. I tried to call multiple times and they never picked up until after my shoot was over. No refund at all which I feel is an awful lot of money to take from someone who had no idea where to go and with the crowds, and no one answering at the other end to of the phone to help navigate me there really was frustrating and disappointing. Finally when they did call me back, they offered to take me as soon as possible but by that time I was on to my next activity that I booked because everyone said to prebook or everything will sell out. . I wouldn’t recommend since no refund was given. $149 for NOT EVEN a CREDIT to come back!! 😡

The whole experience was unbelievable. We actually had 2 sessions n the employees were very accommodating (along with the next group of people) they got it all done with ease! Every step of the experience was phenomenal. The photographers knew their work angles n poses and everyone was so helpful n patient.

Had a wonderful experience. The staff who helped pick out my costume did a phenomenal job matching my personality. All staff was so nice and photos were excellent. I went solo so don’t be intimidated to go it alone

We had a wonderful experience at Witch Pix. We arrived early as suggested, and waited about 5 minutes before our group was pulled back for styling. There are many outfits to choose from, and the stylists are very helpful in suggesting things for you to try. The clothing ties in the back so it fits all sizes, and my young daughter and I were both able to come out looking magical. Our pictures were taken at the Herbal Hearth which feels very much like the Hocus Pocus vibes we wanted. The photographer was great at getting us to try different poses while giving us a variety of props to use (wants, books, potion, voodoo doll, cat). We had a truly magical time and would recommend this for everyone.

We had a lot of fun! The process is very well done. The actual shoot is easy and creative. Everyone involved was extremely nice and helpful.

I absolutely loved the experience. It was very fun and the photos are awesome, however I was expecting a 45 minute photo shoot. It took us about 5 to 7 minutes max to get dressed and we took photos for about 10 minutes. When I left there, I didn't have near enough pictures as for what I was expecting for $190 experience.

We had a sister’s day in Salem and I was looking for something different and fun to do. Found this little germ on line. We had a great time taking the pics the place was a little pricey but the pics were great and we had fun and laughs that’s what life all about making memories and having fun. The potion add on and making part for price could have been better but was all part of the witches we were playing. Great place for an hour of fun and life time is memories.

What a fun and amazing experience!!! The staff was fun, knowledgeable, and gave the best service. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone going to Salem. We were a party of 7 and laughed through out the experience. There were so many options and the pictures came out fantastic.

Photographers were great at staging us and telling us some good pointers on how to look and how to be more animated. The costumes were wonderful. There’s a lot to choose from and we had a great time.

I came to witch pix as a part of celebrating my bachelorette party along with 3 girls in my wedding party. While the experience was a fun time, the outcome however not so much. The staff was very pleasant to work with, and my girls and I had a blast picking out our costumes and accessories for the photo shoot! But when we got to preview our photos at the end of our shoot, we were all in disbelief. I didn’t want to say anything right then and there because they seems to be okay with how the photos turned out and I didn’t want to hurt my friends feelings. Turns out, they were doing the same, and didn’t want to say anything because they didn’t want to hurt my feelings too. Once we left the studio, one of my girls finally had the courage to say she didn’t like the outcome and we all agreed in relief. All four of us came to a mutual agreement that the quality of our session was not up to par. Most of our photos were very zoomed in, therefore it was hard to make out what background we even picked. We all were put in unflattering poses. I myself for example have really long hair and it panned out to cover my entire outfit, which could’ve been fixed and adjusted if the photographer would’ve told me. There were no available mirrors in the shooting room to check on appearance. Also, a harsh blue/white lighting was used during our session and it made the four of us look really washed out and pale. My session was on Sunday, May 10th 2026 (Mother’s Day) and I thought this would be a perfect Mother’s Day gift to myself, and yet, I still haven’t downloaded my album because I just hated seeing the final edited session. Not a single photo in our session turned out good and I feel robbed. I paid a lot of money for these photos and none of them turned out good, so with that comes my review with extremely high amounts of disappointment.

When we found out we would be traveling to Boston for a work conference, we knew we had to go to Salem while in the area - and we started looking at things to do while in the area and we came across Witch Pix and we knew we had to do it! We booked our appointment 6 months in advance. And let me tell you it was worth the wait. You aren't just paying for photos, you are paying for an experience. Amy (I think so sorry!) was incredible! She helped our group, she plays stylist, and your photographer. She pulled out multiple different outfits for each of us to see what we chose. Let me tell you - SHE NAILED IT! Everything matched our true personality so well as the head pieces she picked for us to compliment out outfits. It was such a fun experience and the photos came out beautifully. This was such a great experience and we got some really unique and beautiful shots.

We came to Salem this year and it was the first thing we did because last year it was so much fun! The price is reasonable and thr portraits come out gorgeous! It took about a hour and was worth every second. Thr photographer is really funny and does a good job. They help you decide on your costume and are very welcoming. Can't wait to do it again!

Went in October which is the busiest month in Salem. But, they took their time and made me feel special! Lots of different clothing to choose from. Love my photos!

Enjoyed every minute of this photo shoot from the selection of costumes, the use of props, including the fabulous brooms we made, & the special magical effects! Our brilliant photographer created phenomenal memories for each & every one of us!!

The staff was very friendly and loved how they helped picked just the right costume for you. I loved the different backgrounds they had for the pictures.

What a wonderful experience. From our stylist to the photographer, was truly a first class experience. Look forward to coming back and doing some different pictures next time. Always remember to book ahead of time, especially during the busy season. We made sure to book months in advance for our session during our visit.

Warm and welcoming to those who made prior arrangements to schedule a photo shoot. It would have been real sad if I hadn’t heard about the photo shoot beforehand, because unless there is an available open time slot, we would have been turned away. Great photos, great and very personable photographer. These photos made memories that will last forever.

We booked Witch Pix weeks in advance and were really looking forward to it. We arrived early as instructed, and even though they were running behind, that was fine — we were just excited for our turn. Once we were called back, things went downhill. There were three of us but only two stylists, so that is probably why they had to rush. I told my stylist again and again that I wanted a purple dress — that’s all I asked for. She kept bringing out dress after dress, every color but purple. Burgundy, red with black lace, other shades — never purple. I must have said “it’s still not purple” five or six times. Then they brought my mom a purple dress. I honestly thought I was going to lose it. I’d been asking for purple from the start, and she got one and I didn’t. The stylist seemed irritated, which made things uncomfortable. My mom later said she took the first dress offered just to keep the peace. I also wasn’t told that once you try a dress on, you can’t switch — which really surprised me, especially since they advertise “personalized styling.” The photographer and another staff member were kind and tried to make the photo shoot pleasant, but by then, the fun was gone. It’s a great concept, but for the price and what’s promised, it just didn’t deliver. Alas, we left with the photos, but not the magic memories we’d hoped for.

I have been here 3 times and it's so much fun. My daughters and I have made it a tradition, we will be back! It's worth the trip from Portland,ME! I recommend it for a fun family event.

The highlight of our trip! We laughed. so hard trying to “get into character”. The staff were AMAZING! From the person that signed us in, to the costuming crew to the photographer, such a well run business! Someone knows what they are doing! We had such a great experience and the pictures were beyond our expectations!! I believe the photographer had as much fun as we did!! A souvenir for life that will bring back the memory and laughs of our experience forever! Well worth it, would do it again and HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you Witch Pix crew!

This was a wonderful experience. There was a bit of a wait, but that’s to be expected on a Saturday in October. The dressing portion felt a bit rushed, wish we had more time to think about what we wanted to wear or what type of witch we wanted to be. The photographer was very friendly and took her time with us. Overall, it was great and I would book again. I was happy with every photo that was taken.

We had the best experience yesterday! All the staff were professional and kind. Our photographer Freddie was so fun and my kids went on and on about how much the experience meant to them. Everything was so organized and clean. It was front to back professionalism from the sweet lady with the red hair at the front outside to the sweet people working inside helping so many people at one time. I was so impressed with the full operation. I felt like the staff all worked as a team and got a long so well. I can’t wait to come experience this again! Thank you all so much!

My husband & I and our two poodles had a great experience at witch pix. From the costumes pick out to the photo shoot everyone was professional & friendly. It was a great experience. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a great pictures in Salem . We got a lot of pictures together & solo pictures too plus solo of our babies Ebert & Bernie ( poodles)
