Dawn was awesome even in the rain! Very informative and fun walking tour. I liked how she was so willing to answer everyone’s questions.

It poured most of the tour but that didn’t ruin the experience one bit! Our tour guide, Henry, was upbeat and passionate about the history which made the tour more interesting. It was a great tour !

We had a wonderful experience. Michael was a terrific guide who was very knowledgeable and he made the trip fun with some well timed jokes. Clarence the Cat joined us and he was so well behaved it almost seemed he was under a spell. His presence really added a lot to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this for a fun and informative tour.

Despite doing this tour off very little sleep based on a flight delay, we enjoyed ourselves so much and this tour was awesome! We covered about 2 miles over the course of 2.5 hours (so if you have issues with walking long distances or standing for long periods of time, maybe reconsider) and learned so much about Salem’s history and architecture. Our tour guide Diane was very passionate and animated about the topic, was great with crowd control, and was very helpful answering questions at the end. She also checked in with the guests often to make sure everyone was okay and gave good directions when moving to the next spot. Definitely worth the time and it gives you a good idea of other places to visit!

This was a fantastic tour, especially after watching a TV series on the Salem Witch Trials. This tour took us back in time, very enlightening & sad at the same time. Hard to believe this could happen. Our Tour Guide Diane, did an excellent job of painting the entire picture. Would highly recommend.

Our tour guide Diane was enthusiastic, clearly loved her city and its history. The tour was well paced and full of interesting information. Anyone going to Salem should consider this tour. You think you know Salem, but so many of those stories are not true. Diane was a myth buster extraordinaire!

Hilary subbed in for another guide at the last minute and I'm glad she did! She was very knowledgeable, had answers to every question, and focused mostly on the history but shared some of the spookier aspects when appropriate. She had a great sense of humor but didn't detract from the severity of the events she was sharing. We even had a slightly disruptive group at times, and she handled them with ease and was able to keep everyone on track. Highly recommend this tour if you aren't looking for the hokey tours that play dress-up and try to jump-scare you. This has the right vibes for spooky season while being incredibly informative and entertaining.

Really enjoyed the tour. Did lose the tour so didn't get to see the very end but that was 100% our fault. We also went ON Halloween so Salem was a madhouse. Even with the crowd, could hear easily and could keep up. We lost the tour when we grabbed a hot chocolate instead of taking pictures at the Witch House since we'd already taken photos of that stop before the tour so, again, totally our fault.

Claire was a highly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining tour guide. I went on a tour on Halloween itself and even with the crowds and noise she still kept the group engaged throughout. Would highly recommend.

Our guide was PHENOMENAL. He was personable, pleasant, and incredibly knowledgeable. We had an absolute blast. Loved his sense of humor and disposition. 10 out of 10.

I noticed they had several tour guides, and they probably each give their own personality to their tour but I'm especially glad that our guide was Joe!! He uses a bit of theater as he tells stories instead of just listing facts (which is fine if that's your thing, me personally I thought the theatrics were great!). At first I thought that 2 hours was a long tour but honestly it's perfect. There is a lot of walking up and down slopes, over broken road and cobble, not to mention we went on Oct 30th so the streets were slammed! The price was good and I think totally worth it. **My only complaint: our (marvelous)guide was a very fast walker. Everyone else kept up fine but a few times my mom and I got separated because she has cancer and can't walk as quickly as your average able bodied person.**

Nice appetizers of information about the area. A little ghost, little history, little architecture, and a bit more witch trials. It was so great! Loved Heidi our tour guide. Only 4 of us on the 4:30 evening walk and it was fantastic.

He was incredibly knowledgeable about Salem, its history, and the witch trials, and made everything so interesting and engaging. What really made the experience special was his personality! He was hilarious, had such great energy, and made the entire tour so much fun. You could genuinely tell how passionate he was about what he does. We learned so much while laughing along the way. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Salem! I couldn’t recommend this tour enough!

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Our tour guide, Heidi, came across as rude and unwelcoming toward several members of the group. Multiple people actually chose to leave halfway through the tour. It was difficult to hear what was being said, and when concerns were brought forward, the responses were met with attitude rather than understanding. At one point, she even singled someone out in front of the entire group, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. A tour should be an enjoyable, welcoming experience where guests feel comfortable asking questions and expressing concerns. Unfortunately, that was not the atmosphere we experienced. I recognize that other tours may be different, and this may not reflect everyone's experience, but Heidi certainly did not leave us with a positive impression. Based on our experience, I would have a hard time recommending this tour.

Great tour. We had Grace on Halloween night and she made the tour a lot of fun. You can tell she loves what she does and that comes through with her knowledge.

Our tour guide had 2 relatives who were victims of the Salem witch trials- the Parker sisters of I recall correctly. I feel this connection really made the tour guide passionate about the tour & the historical facts he provided during the tour. Such an educationally fun tour.

Great experience ! The 2 hours flew by and our guide was amazing! We were lucky enough to be only 2 family of 4 so pretty intimate and great to engage with our lovely guide. It was the perfect balance between history and spooky stories ! 100% recommend!

This was a very informative and well-organized walk through the history of Salem on the busiest of nights….Halloween! Kim (and her husband!) did a great job keeping our group together as we navigated the crowds and made sure everyone was able to hear. Highly recommend this tour!

Our walking History and Haunting Tour with Hilary was great! Hilary is full of energy, super engaging and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about Salem's wealthy history, the witch trials, the hanging judge and soo much more! Two hours went by super fast! Not to mention we took the tour on Halloween during Salem's 400 year anniversary!

The tour was full of information about the history of Salem from the witch trials to the architecture. The ghost stories were especially interesting. Our tour guide Dana was entertaining plus he resembled Ryan Reynolds.
