What a great night in Salem with Baris! Imagine walking around Salem at night, visiting old cemeteries, with a guy dressed as a Puritan holding a candle and telling you all these crazy stories about witches! Baris was fantastic! Super friendly, funny, and full of interesting stories. He even brought pictures and did a little magic to make everything more fun! We learned a lot about the witch trials, but also about Salem and how the city has changed over the years. It honestly felt more like walking around with a friend than being on a tour.😉 And I have to say… with all those stories, the candle, and the magic tricks, I’m still not 100% sure Baris isn’t a witch himself! 😂 Thanks, Baris! We had such a great time. Definitely one of the best things we did in Salem!

Baris is an excellent guide who knows Salem’s true history, and he did a wonderful job of bringing the past history of Salem to life on our tour. Our tour lasted approximately one hour, and we learned so many new and interesting things about Salem that we did not know before. The size of our group was perfect because it allowed everyone to hear everything Baris was saying as we walked about town. Baris managed to create both an educational and entertaining tour, which kept our interest throughout the experience. I’ve done several tours in Salem throughout the years, and this was by far my favorite tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to learn some true historical facts about the history of Salem, Massachusetts!
Took this walking tour with a group of friends and had a genuinely great time. Baris is an absolute delight — high energy, clearly loves this stuff, and there's something extra fun about an outsider's take on 400 years of local history: all the enthusiasm of a brand-new fan, none of the "I've told this story a thousand times" flatness you sometimes get from guides who grew up two blocks from the witch museum. He makes the history feel discovered, not recited. Highly recommend if you want Salem's story told with real warmth and a little bit of delighted-outsider energy.
