Had an absolutely fun time on my ghost tour. Zach was very knowledgeable and fun. I learned a lot about various ghosts in Salem and heard some interesting stories. Even though I’m skeptical of ghosts, I love paranormal stuff. This made me want to look for books on all the ghostly legends in Salem,m. Would definitely recommend this tour 10/10.

Itinerary
Meet your professional and entertaining guide, who will light the way for your hauntingly historic walking tour of Salem. Follow them into the night to begin your 1.5-hour walking tour. With the light from the lantern, make your way through Salem's streets. Through your guide's storytelling, dark humor, and captivating tales, learn about the paranormal activity in this infamous town. You will visit as many of these locations as time allows, hearing stories of Visit documented hauntings, accidental death and murder.
Enter the backyard of the Ropes Mansion that is replete with paranormal activity and includes stories of several people who died in the house. There have been many sightings in the colonial revival garden so take many pictures and maybe you catch an anomaly.
You will get to see the oldest cemetery in Salem which is one of the oldest in the country. You will hear tales of paranormal activity in the cemetery and the buildings around it. Many anomalies have been seen in our cemetery.
The John Ward house is where accused witches were examined in 1692 when the home was across the street from the jail. It has since been relocated to the grounds of the Peabody Essex Museum, but the activity is still there.
The Witch House is the home of Judge Jonathan Corwin, who was one of the key judges during the 1692 Witchcraft Trials. There is a lot of paranormal activity there that has been captured by our guests. Eight of Corwin's children died in the home and the employees who run the home constantly report weird happenings in the home.
Enter the alleyway behind the restaurant and hear about an incredible murder that happened in the 1830s involving a love triangle between a sea captain, sailor and indentured servant. Sightings of the servant, aka Blue Lady, continue to be seen today by guests of the restaurant and the waitstaff.
The Merchant Hotel stands on the grounds of where the home of 1692 Witchcraft Trials sheriff George Corwin lived. There are stories that Corwin tortured people in the basement. He died in the home from a heart attack or brain aneurysm. Various reports have surfaced over the years of strange occurrences at the brick structure. Let our guide regale you with them and explain the reason why this may be happening. (we do not go in this house).
The Gardner Pingree House was built in 1804 and had a sensational murder there in 1830 involving a complicated conspiracy to get the money of Captain Joseph White. The plan unravelled as the co-conspirators turned on each other resulting in a suicide and the execution of two men.

This tour group is fantastic! If you need to take a tour in Salem this was great! Our tour guide Bob with one O was extremely knowledgeable about everything movie related and super funny too! We had a great time!
Bob was GREAT! The stories and experience took you all over the town. It is really FAST paced, and it isn’t wheelchair friendly. (Nothing on the tour company or Bob and more with the town not keeping the pathways clear.)
Just a lot of standing … and so many “rules” for the first 10 minutes, not allowed to look at your phone? Not allowed to smoke (outside!?), not allowed to look around … can only “respect” the guide by looking at him and listening to him! He was very slow to share stories, a lot of standing, no sitting. Disappointed. We left after 30 mins.
Thanks BoB for the great ghosts stories that we had yesterday. We were the French people. My oldest daughter really liked it.
Not scary and no talk about witches, which I think it should include when in Salem. It was slightly interesting, but definitely not scary.
Great tour loved the experience just wish there were more attractions tour guy had a good way of getting your attention and describing the ghost experiences
Our tour was ho hum. Not alot of energy and excitement from our tour guide. Facts were interesting but the delivery wasn't very engaging.
Great Time! Tour guide was funny and informative.
Great tour the tour guide was knowledgeable and helped answer questions. We really enjoyed the tour.
Such a great experience! The tour was a perfect blend of history, ghost stories and lore. Our guide, Zach, was excellent! Highly recommend!
Alan was an incredible tour guide and made our first trip to Salem a very memorable experience. He is extremely knowledgeable in Salems history and provided a lot of insight on the paranormal activity around us! 10/10 recommend. The tour was well thought out and we enjoyed the pace - perfect day.
The tour guide, Zach, was very knowledgeable and shared the history of Salem in a very engaging and thorough manner. He actually welcomed questions from guests and cracked a couple jokes to keep us entertained.
Bob was great and very enthusiastic about the stories and the history. Shared real proof and personal experiences as well. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great time on the ghost tour. We listened to amazing personal stories and got to explore the spooky town at night. Nothing short of a great time.
Bob was a good story teller, good stories about ghost encounters...he was funny and had good paranormal pics. Just would like more spooky info on the places and people that lived in the houses. Overall it was good.
The worst ghost tour I’ve ever been on. The guide had absolutely no personality and spent more time walking than tell any stories. Not entertaining at all and majority of the stories had false information
While we did go around and see some history and hear about why it could be haunted, it wasn’t very eerie. There were details but they were quick. I’d say the guide was somewhat informative but lacked story telling skills. Because of the time of year there are so many groups going around at the same time. Somethings we stopped at we didn’t even go in or near because other groups were already there. There was also a street fair, so one spot we stopped in front of you couldn’t see really because it had tents with vendors in front of it. It was just a bunch of walking behind a guy in a funny hat.
Didn't attend due to nor'easter company would not refund my money even though I had insurance so they got me to spend more money and then wouldn't return it. When I spoke to them personally I was blown off due to having purchased the insurance. Would not recommend. Poor customer service. False advertising
Very fun! Our guide was very entertaining!
An educational and informative tour about some amazing places in Salem. Our guide was enthusiastic, used personal experiences for part of the stories, and answered every question thrown his way. I do recommend. He also cared for everyone's safety and made sure all stayed together before continuing. At the end, he noticed my husband and I lost. He took the time to check on us and helped us find a place to eat. We were famished after all that walking.
Bob was amazing… he was so knowledgeable… had us laughing and having g goosebumps the next moment. Well worth the time and money to do this! Learned so much!
Bob lead our tour. He did such an amazing job, very entertaining and you can tell he really enjoys what he does!
Just wasn’t what I expected. I wanted to hear about haunted places and more on ghosts. It seemed we didn’t hear about Salem and the ghosts there. Our guide talked a lot about personal stuff and showed us his pictures.
Not what I thought I was getting at all. Other historical ghosts tours that I have been on, actually give us some historical information. This was just a man rambling about personal experiences but no actual proof. So if you like someone simply storytelling then this is the tour for you. No EMF devices like other tours and just simply so disappointing. One group actually left early and wish I would have followed such a waste of two hours.
The guide smelled like booze, and appeared disheveled, with dirty clothes. The stories were disjointed and full of nonsensical tangents.
The group had way too many people in it and should be capped, couldn't hear guide too well and facking other companies had tours also. One literally walked right through ours. The guide was also definitely in a rush and threw a few subtle woke political references. One happened very early on in the tour which immediately made me lose interest.
Great walking tour of Salem, its otherworldly events, and great historical info
Zack (Zach?) was a wonderful tour guide! He seamlessly weaved in history, humor and bit of fright into our tour! We learned a lot on our walk through downtown Salem. We paid a little under $30 per ticket, which is well worth the 1 -1/2 hour walk, guided tour. Our group was, I’d say between 15-20 people, but it was the perfect size for this type of tour. As a believer in ghosts, I had plenty of information and opportunities to capture something on camera.
Great experience, fun activity and informative.
Great tour, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Bob had many interesting stories!!
We were really expecting ghost stories of places around Salem. We got four stories, but most of it was centered around our guide’s experience with ghosts/spirits. Has to be so many more ghost stories around houses in downtown Salem than we heard.
Went on a tour with Zach and had a blast! He was knowledgeable, personable, and funny and I appreciated his good mix of interesting history and ghost stories. He took time to engage with all the people on the tour and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this tour!
Unfortunately, the name of our guide has slipped my mind but she was wonderful! Super informative, knowledgeable and engaging, and loved that she not only shared the ghost stories with us, but she also shared actual photographic/videographic evidence that was caught at the locations. My 8 year old, though easily distracted, was enthralled with the tour and history of Salem.
We went on the Haunted Footsteps tour with Bob as our tour guide. I was a little nervous going into it as we had our 6 & 11 year old kids with us. Bob did a phenomenal job incorporating the kids into the tour, having them carry the lantern and chatting with them, putting everyone at ease. There were historical stories as well as personal experiences shared. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend.
Brilliant tour, very informative. Happy to divert off their plamned track when people had questions and additional stories. Local guide, friendly and happy to help with anything we asked. Great local knowledge and persinal experiences added to the haunted tales. We even stopped to appreciate the lovely sunset.
Tour guide told stories he heard about or experienced. There was no paranormal or ghost hunting. All stories
Bob is a great storyteller and we had a lot of fun. Would recommend to anyone visiting Salem. We had a great time.
Bob is an amazing guide and storyteller! Can’t recommend him enough.
Our tour guide was Stash, he did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Highly recommended this tour.
Overall it was a fun and informative tour. Stash, the tour guide, took us around to the top paranormal "hot spots" around Salem. During one of the stops a member in our party started to get an uneasy feeling. Definitely recommended checking this tour out
We had high hopes for this tour. We could tell almost immediately that our guide (Stanley, we think) was not engaging and was not going to provide the experience we hoped for. The gentleman was nice, but boring and quite monotone. He did not interact with us to make it a participatory excursion. Personally I try my hardest to find value in all experiences and would not normally would provide a bad review but this was intolerable and we left the tour early. Do your homework before you book a tour and perhaps check other companies offering a ghost tour of Salem. Sadly it was a waste of our money and a true disappointment.
Bob was a fun guide with an amazing sense of humor!
Your was great the guide was cool and down to earth. Knowledgeable
Bob was great!!!! Awesome tour guide!
Bob was AWESOME! Very knowledgeable & his delivery was delightful!
Our tour guide was Bob and he was very funny! He knew a lot about Salem and its ghost history and he threw in anecdotes about his own ghostly experiences. He was a great story teller and added sound and light effects during the tour. He had several pictures to show us from previous ghost tours and encouraged us to take our own.
My wife and I attended the ghost walk and it was wonderful! Our tour guide was great. She told excellent stories and really engaged with us. The atmosphere was very welcoming and we got to see some great sites. She recommended some great places to check out afterwards for food and for drinks. We had a great experience.
Spots were not as interesting as anticipated. Stories seemed unrelated to the tour theme. More personal than Salam related.
Nice lady! Beautiful shop! Happy to see a lot of the sights that we will be visit again next day to go in!
