Meghan was superb. Not only was she knowledgeable she was engaging.
I took this tour on a whim. Years of living here, and still learning something new. Amazing what a knowledgeable guide can teach you!
The tour was a bit on the pricey side, and I would have preferred the guide to present a more professional appearance. That said, it was an overall excellent experience—the guide was highly knowledgeable. One correction: the guide stated that England imposed “tariffs” on the colonies. This is inaccurate. The measures in question were taxes (such as the Stamp Act and Townshend duties), not tariffs. As the colonies were part of the British Empire, these were internal taxes levied on British subjects, not external trade barriers between separate nations. This distinction is central to the colonial grievance of “no taxation without representation.”
Alejandro made my day He is a very gifted and intelligent historian who brought the stories to life with his well executed delivery Worth ever dollar
There is a lot of walking so if you have difficulty walking, you might not be able to keep up with the tour.
Excellent. Our guide Dimas was a passionate and brilliant historian who welcomed and answered every question and gave an incredible tour from the heart. Sometimes you just get a great guide and it changes your day from good into great. It’s also much nicer to walk the sites rather than sit on a bus. I wish the tour would have been a full day and included inside stops. That’s how good a guide Dimas is.
Longer walk than usual. 2 1/2 hours but very comprehensive introduction to the city’s history. Make sure that you do it if you in town!
It was a great historical tour. Cyrus (our guide) was excellent. His knowledge of the history (1760-1776) made it much more interesting for us. He’s extremely passionate about this era of our history.
Elizabeth was very enthusiastic and enjoyed learning about the history and landmarks in Boston and New England
I have done the Freedom Trail before and did it again with my mom. I was excited but this specific tour wasn't what I was hoping. I was excited for all 16 sites, but it is 2.5 hours which turned into too long. The tour guide did not take that into consideration and continued to talk. He was very educational (previous professor) but information felt very long and some not necessary. It was a struggle to hear him, and it seemed some stops along the trail we skipped over.
Very much enjoyed this tour with Will of Hub Town Tours. He was friendly, courteous and very passionate about the subject. I would do it again!
Joe was an absolutely wonderful tour guide. He’s a wealth of knowledge and really brought the history of Boston to life. Highly recommend him and tour.
Fantastic tour and great experience. Can’t fault it.
Really informative tour. Cyrus our tour guide was really knowledgeable. It was good to learn the history and see the sites of Boston. Would recommend.
We loved the tour! I have been to Boston before and learned some new things! The sites were great! Jon was a fantastic!
Joe was very informative and knowledgeable. We had a great tour. Highly recommend it as a way to experience the city and its rich history.
Had a great walking tour with our guide. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He took us to the main 16 spots of interest along the path. Also, he had photos to help present the information he was telling us about.
Our guide Lin was incredibly knowledgeable, an excellent orator and story teller. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how I spent the morning of my 50th birthday.
Friendly and informative. What else could we ask for. Kile was an excellent guide for our tour around Boston. Right from the outset was friendly, and kept the tour at a good pace and answered all the questions from the lovely small group of 7.
Our guide was VERY knowledgeable! The tour was informative but offered too much detail which in turn made the tour too long. A more general overview of the freedom trail and less time standing at most of the stops would have been appreciated.
Joe was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable. He answered every question asked. It was a walking history lesson. I highly recommend Joe's tour.
Great experience! Learned a lot.
Our tour guide Zoe did a fabulous job. She has a true passion for Boston and it’s incredible history. Well done!
David was very knowledgeable. Definitely knows his stuff! We’ve learned something about Boston through this tour. Thank you David!
We learned so much during our tour. Cyrus was a great guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable. He also did a great job keeping our group together and being considerate of where we were relative to other people.
We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Will. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the tour engaging and exciting throughout. If you’re looking for a great history tour, I highly recommend this one.
My friend and I thought the freedom tour conducted by Zoe was the ultimate experience of tracing the freedom trail in Boston. Her knowledge and research were thorough and she was very clear and well spoken. She laid out the plan for the afternoon and had a concern for our safety and our ability to hear her. I highly recommend Zoe as a tour leader par excellence!
Amelia was so knowledgeable, took questions and was able to tell even more! She was an awesome guide and would definitely recommend her as well as take other tours with her!
Elizabeth, our guide, excellent. Knowledgeable and personable.. Learned a great deal of American history that I had forgotten or was never taught. Great activity for Boston
Natalie was great! She was patient and kind. I think her being a history teacher as well works perfectly!! We didn't know how much history was behind boston. It's our first time here so it was perfect. Thank you Natalie ☺️
If “Night at the Museum” was a Bostonian tour guide, its name would be NATALIE! Our guide Natalie was incredible and made history come to life. It was a 2.5 hour tour- I didn’t know if we would be able to last that long- but, we were fully engaged the whole time. She was fun and energetic and my husband and I both felt like this tour was the best part of our Boston trip. Thanks, Natalie, for an awesome tour!!
Maz was an excellent guide and the tour was very informative and enjoyable. He shared so many interesting details and also gave great local recommendations. Highly recommend this tour!
Mikayla was on of the best guides I have ever had. She is amazing. She was so informative, organized, kept track of the group and the process. Her depth of knowledge was amazing. That said, she spoke at a level we could understand, answered questions, and adjusted to our wants/needs. It was an interesting tour.
Joe was a great your guide! He gave us a lot of information about each of the stops! Glad we went on the tour!8
Nick was fun, knowledgeable and attentive to the group.
Tour guide was super passionate about the history and made it very interesting and lots of fun. If you genuinely want to learn about the history, this is the right tour.
Great experience, we learned a ton of new facts. Our tour guide Nick was brilliant! Answered all of our questions, took his time with explaining things, and gave us great recommendations on what else to do in Boston
Terrific tour! Our guide Lynn was world class!
Cyrus was awesome. He called and texted me to make sure I knew where to meet. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The tour was awesome because of him.
Maura was an amazing tour guide!!!!! Passionate about her love of history and fun!!!!! She made the our tour awesome!!!!!!

Alex was our guide, she did a fantastic job
The tour was great and our guide Cal was amazing!! We had the absolute best time and the weather was perfect!
What an amazing experience!! Our guide, Rob was over the top amazing! He explained all the history in a unique "story telling" type format. He even gets the audience involved by handing out a few of the characters to participants that want to play along. He's so much fun and has a way about bringing us all together. Rob even brings little Lego characters to bring the story to life using large, paper rolled maps! Make sure you get Rob as your guide and make SURE to tip well!!! He puts a LOT of time and effort into his guidance.
I call it the optimized Freedom Trail walking tour. Despite my personal touch to the title, the tour was exceptional. I walked away from this tour with more historical facts than the media could ever concisely fit into a movie; the on-site experience is truly necessary to comprehend the magnitude of the events that took place in Boston as the country was being born. Sven did an excellent job of strategically optimizing the Freedom Trail to safely navigate the busy streets of downtown Boston with a sizable group. He really knew his stuff. The details he stitched together as we progressively visited each Freedom Trail landmark added a welcoming structure to an otherwise complicated story about why America's first steps started in Boston.
The Freedom Trail led by Cyrys M. was so educational and interesting. We heard fascinating history of graveside, followed the trail from previous revolutionary Boston to the catalyst ofvthe Boston Tea Party. Cyrus was especially articulate and excited about his subject, dispelled myths and offered a truly superb account of our history. I will read bit more about this time in our history and perhaps retain it better than I did in 8th and 11th grade American History.
This was a great tour. Kile was entertaining and patient.
Wonderful history tour for first time in Boston. We learned so much and our guide, cyrus, was awsome.
What a great way to see Boston and learn our history. John was our guide and is amazing. Don't be discouraged by the 2.5 miles.
