We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Alvin “Big Al.” He was funny, engaging and very knowledgeable with his insights into the American Revolutionary War. Of course the pizza was absolutely delicious! A fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

It’s a great day exploring and learning the history of the NorthEnd while also enjoying delicious pizza.
It was cancelled so I can’t provide a review. I was looking forward to having a guide to explore the city.
Bring your appetite! 3 Pizza stops and the food was great.... some history and food along the route. we had great weather so the walking was pleasant and history lesson too :)
Our group ranged in age from 10-60 years old. Everyone had a great time! The price is fantastic for a walking tour and lunch. Scotty was authentically Boston and expertly balanced history and humor.
Big Al was very good and excited
Come hungry! :) Scotty was fun and friendly, and we had a great time. Well paced walking helps between slices. We converted a lot of the North end and enjoyed learning about it. Definitely recommend this tour.
Big AL was our guide and he was amazing!! We have three kids age 21, 14, and 9 and this is by far the best tour we have ever done anywhere! And we have done a lot of them anytime we go on a trip! He was a local who knew all the great spots!
Fun and informative overview of some of Boston’s historic spots coupled with pizza tastings. Scottie was blunt, pragmatic with a smile and a good storyteller. Our whole family enjoyed it (including 14 and 11 year olds). Thank you.
Scotty was our tour guide and he did a great job. It was a busy Sat. In the North End and he was able to navigate through the crowds and manage seats in the small restaurants for all of us. He was very friendly, and was a wealth of information telling many stories of the history of Boston., doing it with a smile and making the tour fun, engaging the whole group in conversation. Highly recommend the tour and Scotty and of course the pizza was great as well as the yummy cannoli!!Thanks Scotty for a fun filled day!
Scotty was fun and informative. It was a great tour with loads of pizza! We would do this tour again.
Tour was fantastic. Great way to get some history and eat some good pizza. Big Al is amazing and made the tour!
I really loved our tour guide, Scotty! He was incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire tour so much fun! Be ready for a lot of walking before you book. Other than that, I highly recommend!
We had such an amazing time on our history tour! It also happened to have yummy pizza and a delish cannoli. This tour with Big Al is a must-do if you are in Boston! He was friendly and so so knowledgeable about Boston history. Definitely would recommend!!!
Scotty was a great guide, the pace was easy and the pizza delicious. A great way to combine a food tour with a little history.
It’s not just pizza, it’s history and authenticity Boston in tone. In short this tour is wicked pissah
Fabulous walking tour! Just enough of a history lesson and pizza was amazing! Scotty was a great guide!!!
Knowledgeable and friendly guide. Enjoyed the pizza and learning more about Boston history. A fun experience!
We had a great time on the Freedom Trail Pizza Tour! The three pizza slices were all delicious and offered a fun variety, and the tour itself was a perfect mix of Boston history and great food. Margot was an excellent host—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience enjoyable. We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston!
This was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken! Dan was funny, informative, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. The pizza was delicious, and the meeting instructions were clear and easy to follow. Five stars all the way - this is a must-do when visiting Boston!
All 3 Pizza places were awesome. We would go back to any one of them. Tour guide was excellent and really gave us lots of Boston history
Never got a refund even though they cancelled. Texted them multiple times. Go with a more honest tour company.
Amazing pizza along with interesting Boston history. Scotty kept the tour moving and kept us laughing.
We had a great time on the pizza tour in the North End. Big Al was entertaining and passionate about history and pizza. We’re still referencing some of his stories about Paul Revere and the colonists waiting for the British on Bunker Hill. The pizza was also excellent. Reginas was our favorite. The cannoli at Modern Pastry was the perfect end to the tour.
Although this is a rather lengthy walking tour, it is very easy to do. I am a senior citizen with a neurological condition that affects my ability to walk and I could still easily complete the tour. We stopped at many historic sites and our tour guide, Scotty, was very knowledgeable about each place. The walking pace was also very comfortable. And the pizza was delicious!
Big Al was great for the whole family. Entertaining and informative.
Big Al was fantastic! Very energetic and personable. We were able to see some great views of the city and try some amazing pizza. I highly recommend this tour!
Amazing experience, amazing guide I would recommend it to anybody. The host is knowledgeable and funny and totally Boston.
Was in Boston to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. This tour is a perfect mix of history/ great food and entertainment. Big Al was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. Tour is appropriate for all ages- while it lasts close to 3 hours - you are not walking or standing for great lengths.
This was such a fun and smooth experience! I came to Boston solo for a weekend getaway. I wanted to do something unique along with some sightseeing/learning about the city. What better idea than to mix learning with some of the best pizza you’ll ever have!!! Scotty as a tour guide was amazing - fun, friendly and personable, knowledgeable, and welcoming of all questions. He pointed out a lot of cool facts, I feel I left smarter. It was easy to locate the starting point (Modern Bakery Underground bar) - I received a call from our tour guide to make sure I reached. We started the tour with the plan overview, it was a well organized 2-3 hours. This tour is so worth it, especially if you are short on time. I would definitely do another tour with this company again and will recommend to my friends. Hope you enjoy this food & history tour at Boston too!
A fantastic tour with Scotty giving us all the history and background of north end. Scotty is very informative, funny and kept us engaged the entire time. We learned a lot even if we are locals. Food was great! There are 3 pizza stops the last one - modern pastry not our favourite.
Come hungry! Aside from great food, this was a great tour. Our guide Scott gave us a lot of historical insights.
Scotty was very informative and funny! Great North End history tour, Pizza tasting, and definitely the best Cannoli too!
Alvin was such an enthusiastic and engaging tour guy. He was so accommodating and gave us great stories while introducing us to AMAZING pizza. This tour is a MUST when visiting Boston
This was our favorite tour! Great way to see the north end and get some delicious pizza. Our tour guide Scottie was very personable and very familiar with the area - and his history knowledge was entertaining even if slightly inaccurate 😂
Interesting history and all 3 stops were great pizza.
Bring a big appetite and get ready to enjoy some delicious pizzas. The family loved the tour and our guide was amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly and best of all entertaining! Kids can easily get bored with historic information. Al kept it fresh and fun for all of us. Next time I have friends in the area, I’m going to set up this tour instead of going out to lunch!
Amazing combo of food and history. Ended with the best cannoli I’ve ever had. We went back to one location for more pizza and they were closed. Highly recommend.
This is a fun tour! Big Al is full of information and energy, and you will be very entertained! The pizza is also very, very good, and the stories of the stops are great. Loved the cannoli at the end!
The tour guide was very informative about the sights in the area, and the pizzas and cannoli, delicious! Since I was on my own, he would take some pictures for myself, but also he took group ones for the other members of the tour group.
We had a great time with Scotty as our tour guide. He made the experience excellent for our group of 9. He was very personable and made us laugh continuously along the way. Would definitely recommend him if you were to go on the tour!
Our tour guide Scotty looked after us so well on this tour. The tour was a great balance of history and local stories which kept us engaged over the 2.5 hours… and the pizza was fab! Great tour would recommend!
“Big Al”, our tour guide, was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable about the area we were touring, the history, as well as the untold history! We travelled with our 18 year old and our 15 year old, and we all had a wonderful time! The pizza and cannolis were delicious!!! We highly recommend this tour!
Big Al was not only knowledgeable about Boston History and current happenings, he was veet entertaining. Hubby and I enjoyed the tour very much.
Big Al was the best! Very knowledgeable and a great personality. The pizza was delicious as all the locals confirmed he was taking us to the best places.
Amazing experience and money well spent. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and made the entire experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Pizza tour was great, only problem was that it was so cold out that day. But the tour itself was interesting and the food was good.
Alvin was a great guide with tremendous enthusiasm, a warm manner and a great command of local history.
We did the Pizza & North End tour with our three teenage boys, and it was fantastic. Scotty struck the perfect balance of walking, history, and food, which kept everyone engaged and happy (no small feat with teens!). The pizza stops were delicious, the history was interesting without being overwhelming, and the pace was just right. The pizza stops also gave us a chance to warm up. We highly recommend this tour for families, especially with older kids.
This tour was wonderful. I went with my family of 6 and we all loved it. We started at a delicious cannoli place and also stopped at 3 pizza places in the North End and had a slice of pizza at each. Each one was different and delicious. Scotty was the tour guide and he was great. Very entertaining and great stories and information about the North End. This is our favorite section of Boston and we enjoyed the tour and all the food. We were stuffed and happy! Take this tour...you won't regret it!
