Had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and we really enjoyed the music and drink options. Would definitely recommend.

A very relaxing cruise with views of the city and ports, a talented band, a festive atmosphere, and delicious free cocoa.
What a delight. The ambiance was perfect. Decorated with wreathes and garlands and light. A LOVELY jazz band played tasteful holiday tunes throughout the ride. The hot chocolate was DELICIOUS and unlimited! And they had a cool whipped cream dispenser for exceptionally yummy and fresh whipped cream. Coffee was also available for free, so we made a coffee-hot chocolate. So yummy. They also offer “spiked” hot chocolate from the bar. You can purchase special liquor combinations in fancy cups to then add to your hot chocolate as well. We got baileys and peppermint schnapps to add to ours which was also very good. Overall, it was a relaxing, cozy and fun boat cruise for this time of year. Here are some tips: 1)We went on the 3pm ride which I’d highly recommended. It’s an hour and a half and so we finished promptly at 4:30. The sun set at 4:22 so the lighting over the harbor was so perfect even with some haze in the sky. Plus once you exit, it’s perfect timing to head to your favorite spot for a dinner reservation. 2) Bring some small games! You’ll get an assigned table spot which I thought helped make it stress free. Our group brought small travel-sized versions of Bananagrams and Qwirkle to play on the ride. It was perfect! The games plus the music, hot chocolate, jazz music, and the peaceful ride in the harbor made such a perfect combination for a memorable afternoon.
We had a wonderful time on the Boston Holiday Cocoa Cruise! The whole vibe was so festive and relaxed, with amazing holiday music that really set the mood. The yacht itself was decorated beautifully, cozy, cheerful, and perfect for families. We mostly just had snacks, so I can’t speak much to the food, but the drinks were fantastic. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The highlight for us was definitely the view. The Boston skyline at night from the water is just breathtaking. I’d definitely recommend this cruise, It’s festive cheer, gorgeous scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Food was honestly so-so, but the drinks were absolutely delicious. The music was great, decor was beautiful, and staff were all obviously having a great time. The view and ride was amazing as well. Being able to step out onto the deck, even though it was cold, to get a perfect view of the skyline was amazing. Thanks for an unforgettable date!
Loved it! I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet and charming the ship was. The crew was lovely, cute decor, great band and just a really nice time. I didn't know what to expect and this exceeded my expectations. 90 minutes, of just relaxing and listening to the band, great scenery outside(we did the 3 pm cruise so plenty of daylight). Its hard to find things that my young adult children will enjoy, or even slow down long enough to participate in- but they liked this!
Lots of holiday energy and sing-a-longs. Interactive singing and fun musical competitions with Ho-Ho-Ho’ing and tambourine clapping!
Fun & festive experience with the family! We did a 5:30 cruise and the view of the Boston skyline was beautiful at night. The yacht was very festive and cozy and the staff was very friendly. We had a wonderful time .
Our family booked this cruise on a trip to Boston. The boat was very festive, the music was fun, and the skyline beautiful. We paid for 5 seats and when we got to our assigned table there were only 4 chairs. We were seated at one half of a table with a glass divider between us and another family. I brought it up to the host at the front of the boat and someone ended up bringing us another chair but there wasn’t room due to a heater blocking the end of the table. We crammed in but it was not ideal. The communication about how to order food and drinks was non-existent. There was a small bar at the entry side of the room with 2 bartenders. We went directly to our table (rather than get directly in line at the bar) because we thought a server would come around (based on the advertised picture) BUT THERE ARE NO SERVERS. You have to order your food and ALL drinks at the bar and then someone does deliver it to your table. If I had known that then someone from our party would have gotten in the line for the bar right away. The hot cocoa bar was self-serve and by the time my 15 year old and I got up there, the whipped cream was out and there was no one around to inform. We made the most of it but I can’t give you 5 stars. I’ll go ahead and recommend it to a friend due to the Christmas cheer and the skyline but the communication and the table seating need improved.
Relaxing, festive, and fun for the whole family. Perfect for my 12 and 16 year old but there were plenty of families there with much younger kids as well. We will be making this a Christmas tradition!
Boat was very festive. Band was good. Enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend this trip. Well worth the money
Fun evening. Well organised. Very good service on board the boat. Band played lovely Christmas music.
This was such a cozy holiday activity! The kids had fun dancing along to the music and loved the hot cocoa bar and toppings. We enjoyed the themed cocktails - White Christmas was my favorite.
Nicely decorated for Christmas . Music was perfect. This is the second year in a row that we enjoyed the cocoa cruise
Friendly, fun staff provide an all you can drink hot cocoa bar, full bar for added fun, table seating which made eating and conversating easy and a fun band playing sing-along Christmas carols. Will definitely do it again next year!
Food is slow to come… was very tight friendly atmosphere slow service advertise fresh cookies and they were hard as a rock .
What a perfect evening for my wife! Great music…nice atmosphere…wonderful drinks (and the hot cocoa bar was delicious (NOT powdered but homemade).
Very disappointed in Christmas cruise. The band was ok. The woman singing was awful. When they ran out of whipped cream in first minute, never replaced I was very disappointed as I organized for friends to get us into Christmas spirit. I wouldn’t attend again .
Fun experience. No tour/site seeing narration, but fun holiday live music the whole time. Cocoa bar is good with great additions (peppermint, marshmallows, etc). Good family experience.
This is fun, a beautiful way to see the city, boat decorated for Christmas, a perfect amount of time to celebrate with family or friends, and a band playing holiday music to get you in the spirit. Great hot cocoa, bar and treats.
Best experience ever. Best Christmas spirit vibes. Singer were amazing music was best ever. Food and drinks are awesome.
Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience to put you in the festive spirit for the holidays! The crew was fantastic and the boat was lovely!
Lighthearted holiday fun. Carols and cocoa and a great bartender. Great start to the holiday season.
This cruise exceeded our expectations! The boat was decorated so festively, it really was beautiful. The band had such talent and the music was just the right volume so that you could still easily have a conversation. The cocktails were delicious and the free hot cocoa bar was such a fun touch - they even had a whipped cream machine! The crew was amazing, very friendly and personable. Highly recommend!
Amazing excuse to go into Boston, relax, and chat with some refreshing drinks and good food. Highly recommend.
Great jazz quartet and good service. Very relaxing and beautiful day to cruise around Boston harbor!
The boat ride was smooth not bumpy. I normally get motion sickness. I didn’t feel a thing. The atmosphere was nice. It was cozy. The boats really nice looking. Enjoy the music. It was all good. I would recommend it.
Really enjoyed our cruise around the harbor aboard the beautifully decorated Northern Lights with Captain Jess at the helm. Highly recommend the artisan cocktails expertly prepared by Eric and Tiffany. Jazz band was really good and created just the right ambiance. Highly recommend this cruise for everyone!
Well run, great hot Cocoa, wonderful bang singing Christmas songs. They made the tour quite pleasant!
Fun short cruise with holiday music, drinks and delicious cookies. Option to stay inside or outside to admire the views. Nice activity for friends and family while visiting Boston.
Such a fun night! Beautiful views of Boston, great music and festive decorations! We will definitely do it again!
The crew and Captain were welcoming and the band played beautifully. There were cookies, coffee and hot cocoa and it was a very comfortable ride. The only thing I would change would be a bit of narration in between the singing from the Captain as to where we were and what sights we were seeing.
We enjoyed the jazz band and the relaxing and casual atmosphere. Great spiked cocoa options, full bar and the appetizers were very good. Fun times!
Comfortable and scenic ride in the harbor. We wouldn’t have minded another half hour but overall, great atmosphere with the live band and the refreshments. Mostly kid friendly and smooth sailing!
What a lovely boat ride this was! We enjoyed cocktails, music, views and the ambience! We were afraid it was going to be full of children, but this event was more geared to adults. We were very appreciative of that!!
The expectation for this cruise was that it would be fun. It was so boring. There was only a jazz band and whenever the song got the tiniest bit upbeat and sing-along ish, the singer would hand the microphone out to the audience and then the whole thing got quiet and momentum was broken. I expected this to be more interactive with the audience and engaging the children who were all extremely bored and not wanting to be there. I think that it should be more clear that it is a very low-key geriatric vibe, slow motion, jazz music rather than the expected upbeat Christmas caroling, which it is not!!! Even the oldest couple there wanted to get up and dance, but it did not match the vibe of the whole event. I was so excited it was an hour and a half so I could just get off quickly. Snooze time!!!!
The cruise was awesome. The band wasn’t to excited then towards the end they got the crowd together to help. At first it wasn’t christmas music then they started. I just think maybe a different band and maybe different then jazz.
The music and the Christmas lights with cocoa... amazing.... My fiancé wants to take our future kids on this one day.
Beautiful lights during the night, looking out from the boat. Was able to enjoy the music and have friendly conversation with a couple of set with us just relaxing little cruise.
Great was to celebrate the season. The boat is very festively decorated. The band plays all the holiday tunes. Just a relaxing 90 minutes and the cocoa and whipped cream is delicious. Highly recommend! We make it an annual event with a group of friends. Full bar and Food items available for purchase.
We took the Cocoa Cruise's around the harbor today. It was a very nice afternoon! The boat was nicely decorated. The crew was great - friendly and very hard working. Rudolph's Revenge was the best of the spiked cocoa specials - and we tried them ALL. The views of Boston can't be beat. The Three Scrooges played a fantastic set of Christmas themed songs. So much fun!
Had so much fun with my family on this boat ride !! The band and the boat were great! Staff were friendly and the drinks were great!
We were greeted with good cheer and yummy cookies on our table!! The bartenders were friendly and welcoming There was a cocoa, coffee and tea bar!! The music was fun and the vibe was great
We went on the cruise in December and it was cold. The music and atmosphere were great. Although I would have love to see more interaction to get the crowd engaged.
The jazz band took many breaks for such a short time of playing. Too loud Poor choices of tea selections
I thought it would be a more kid, friendly activity like family singing Christmas carols, but it wasn’t. The staff was very nice on the boat though.
I took my father and we had an amazing night. A boat ride around Boston with the perfect holiday tunes created a memorable experience. I highly recommend it!
The whole experience was worth the money. Between the music and the ship it created a fantastic experience.
Must do at Christmas time! Wonderful cruise complete with live Christmas music & wonderful skyline of Boston all lit up for the holidays. Would definitely do this again!!
I went with my boyfriend and we both said that the holiday cruise was the highlight of our whole trip in Boston. We loved the holiday jazz music, yummy christmas themed cocktails, and complimentary cookies! The staff could not have been friendlier!
