Boston Harbor Brunch Cruise

Great trip around the harbor with family great brunch we're on the Northern lights very nice accommodating a little ship. Nice restrooms cocktails if you wish. We would do this again when visiting Austin

We had the brunch at 12:00 and there wasn't a lot of people thank goodness we really enjoyed ourselves a little bit pricey almost $500 for seniors and a child but we had a lovely time and I would do it again. The staff are very sweet and helpful thank you

The brunch food was so good and fresh with many healthy options. The beautiful boat was clean and well maintained and felt very safe. The crew was very sweet. The views of the harbor were amaing. So many boats to see. I would have gone for dinner too if it wasn't sold out. It was a great experience. The captain was sweet and the tour guide was both informative and soothing. The bartender was very informative and nice. Thank you for the tour.

My friends and I loved this brunch harbor cruise. It was definitely worth the price, the brunch had a great variety and everyone was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend, very fun!

We did the Harbor Brunch Cruise. Getting on final passes and boarding was easy. We had brunch served right away and it was all so fresh and delicious. Able to eat out full, and then some! Top deck was shaded as we cruised around the harbor, but could easily eat on the lower, air conditioned deck. Would occasionally get on and point out interesting facts, but we could talk for the most part, that was nice. Cash bar available if desired. It was one of our favorites in Boston. Also will point out that they don’t do refunds, as my brother found out after he got sick a few days before. But will do a gift certificate and honor that at another time.

Outstanding experience to see the USS Constitution turn around event!

Did the brunch cruise on the Northern Lights to see the USS Constitution on it's July 4th turn around cruise. Had a great time. Narration by the historian was very good. The brunch food was good. The enclosed cabin was air conditioned (thank god). It was all I had hoped for

A good option whatever the weather. Was a wet day but still provided a good tour of the bay and decent food and drink. Great crew who looked after everyone brilliantly.

What a wonderful way to kick off our morning and our trip to Boston. We had better views of some sights from this brunch cruise than when trying to tour them otherwise. Be aware many sights are closed during weekdays. Our captain and the crew on the cruise Sunday morning, April 26, was amazing! We only had the downstairs open and a small crew because there were not many of us on the cruise that morning. We loved the smaller group and the more quaint experience. We decided to take this cruise at the last minute and we are SO glad we did! HIGHLY recommend!

Tour was good, however the food was cold. Service was great, drinks were good. Would recommend to others

The ship and staff were great but wouldn’t do brunch again with them. Pastries and fruit were really good, but french toast and eggs were served under a heating lamp (basically freezing cold, not even luke-warm). Too bad because the food was flavorful. I just couldn’t l recommend unless they figure out a better system for a hot meal.

The food was cold although it was flavorful and there was no guidance on when to start eating. You could not hear the person talking to give the tour spot information.

Smooth check in and boarding process! Brunch buffet was open immediately upon boarding! Food was delicious with a great variety of items. Full bar service available! Whole staff was very friendly and helpful!

My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed this Brunch/Harbor Cruise. It was, sadly, a rainy day but there is full capacity indoor seating so not to worry, we stayed warm and dry. They way the tables are set up, you can see great from any one of them but we got a great table at the front of the boat. The ship's captain narrates all points of interest and though I practically live in Boston, I still gleaned some new details that I did not already know about some of them. The crew was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. There was MORE than enough food for everyone on board and I found the food to be fairly decent enough for a brunch cruise (I mean, it's not a 5 star resort, it's a BOAT) with plenty of variety of foods and everything was tasty and seemingly fresh. I will add that I bought my tickets through Viator last minute because I didn't want to miss out but there were plenty of tickets available at the dock and they were about half the price.

Narration is limited. You are better off pulling out your Google map and searching the sites. The food was mediocre. Pancakes were flat and dry, French toast looked like regular toast with powdered sugar. Salad would have been nice except that they sprinkled blue cheese which is hard to remove. Tea, coffee or water were complementary and self serve. Smoked salmon was good, blueberry muffin good. Cinnamon rolls dry. Because it wasn’t crowded it was a calm experience. I noted that the Viator cost was at least $20 higher than buying at pier. Also Viator did not have senior discount which was also available at the pier. We took nice photos and it was a pleasant quiet afternoon.

The breakfast brunch was amazing! And the staff was also superb. The 2 girls working the event were super kind and did everything they could to ensure a fabulous experience. Definitely a 10/10 experience! The only downside was it was a bit hard to hear the narration. But I know the guide was going to try to address it for future voyages.

The food and atmosphere were great! Although it rained, we still had an enjoyable time with friends. AJ was wonderful!

This was a great experience. The staff was friendly the boat left on time, the brunch menu was really good. The captain gave us some interesting facts about the harbor. I will definitely come back.

My family and I added the Christmas brunch cruise to our Boston Christmas trips several years ago. Two years ago, the Northern Lights boat was docked somewhere else for service and we were put on a different boat. The experience was a bit disappointing for us. Upon letting the company know of our disappointment, they quickly responded and ensured us that they wanted to keep our business. So this year, knowing that the Northern Lights was back in action, we booked the brunch cruise. It was absolutely stellar! The food was better than I ever remember it being, and the variety of pastries was just great. The whole experience from start to finish was a complete redemption for us. We will be back, and we highly recommend this business to anyone looking for an enjoyable, festive holiday experience.

Minimal narration of the sites, but that was okay for me as I know the area well. I have taken more inclusive cruises with you and those are available, but i got what i wanted, I nice calm, peaceful ride with some good food thrown in.

It was a lovely experience. The crew was friendly and helpful. Perhaps could have used a little more commentary, but I also appreciated not having constant noise, music and chatter blasting over the PA system! The buffet was good. We may have waited a little too long to avail ourselves of the buffet, so didn’t get to it when it was el primo. All in all a really good experience, and I would recommend it strongly.

Go on this activity you will enjoy the view of Boston. Being a first timer to Boston I enjoyed the information provided.

The enclosed dining area is very nicely done. Spacious & enough room between the tables to get up when you want without pushing against someone else. The buffet was very nice, good variety of items to choose from. The only thing that could make it better IMO is to uograde the speakers & have the french toast warmed. The captain was telling about the different bridges & islands as we passed them, but it was difficult to hear everything he was saying. Otherwise it was a great experience & we would definitely do it again.

If your looking for a fun and relaxing time on the water , this is it. Brunch was good. Staff was great. Total time on the water approximately 2 hours. Scenic tour of Boston harbor.

The boat ride was great. The food was mediocre and the girl at the check in counter acted as if helping us was an inconvenience.

Great weather to be outside, comfortable inside also. Food was good, selection was okay. Maybe add capers for bagels and lox. I did not even see the coffee station, maybe relocate it closer to buffet tables.

Maybe a map of the harbor and where you will go. I expected to go a little further down into the bay. Other than that, everything was absolutely amazing. Food was good and ship was clean. The staff were there when you needed them and still gave you all the space you needed. Will definitely do again and would love one that was longer and more of a distance. This brunch cruise gives a different view of historical Boston harbor. Points of interest on land look really different from the waters edge. Brunch was ok. Expected a better selection of food. So dont skip breakfast.

Great views on a perfect summer day. If you are going for the brunch- go right away when you board the boat as there is not much restocked.

This was a wonderful cruise!!! The brunch was amazing - we wanted for nothing! And EVERYTHING was fantastic! Our bartender - Rafael, was courteous but not stand-offish! Friendly and funny! The boat itself has an old world vibe. You feel you're living in the past, beautifully decorated. And even though it rained on and off, the trip was still delightful. So I'm letting anyone who may cancel because of the weather, don't! Come prepared and have a blast!!!

We missed our booked sunset cruise and classic harbor was able to give us a credit to book another cruise the following day. We chose the brunch cruise and had a nice ride around harbor. Food choice was good and the crew narrated some local spots we were passing by. All in all a good experience. Would do again.

What a wonderful cruise. The weather held and we cruised on smooth waters to the edge of Boston Harbor's city limits. As locals, we didn't want a lot of tour info. It was just the right amount to engage tourists. The boat wasn't oversold which was appreciated.. The food was nicely presented with everything one expects at brunch. Definitely a nice thing to do with friends or guests.
