Huge thank you to our tour guide for being so patient with our group! We ran late, but she kept us updated with constant communication about where she was located and what steps to take next. She even gave us extra time at the end to share additional historical facts, which was such a nice touch. The only thing I’d love to see improved is for the guide not to shy away from discussing the history of slavery. Overall, it was a good tour!

You’ll learn about Boston’s place in the Revolutionary War, its important events, and people. Our grandson is 11 and this was informative for the entire family.
Saba was amazing!!! She is professional but very relaxed and easy going. She was flexible and accommodating to our crazy schedule. She was extremely knowledgeable and made each site we visited more interested than the one before. Worth every penny!! We would def do another tour with Saba again and I highly recommend her to anyone visiting the area. I cannot say enough great things about Saba or the tour. Clearly she loves what she does and it made our day to spend the afternoon with her. We need more Saba's in this world :)
Saba is nice guide and made our Boston history tour interesting with lots of fascinating stories. I recommend this tour for people who want a leisurely walk with a knowledgeable guide.
Saba was a wonderful guide. She provided a lot of interesting information at just the right pace. Highly recommend
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and endured the Boston heat, while providing us the best tour!
I was so delighted with this tour. I had chosen it because it advertised instruction in photography techniques, and the last photography class I took was prior to the advent of digital photography. Not only did I learn how to acquire and process images on my phone, but also concepts about grouping, color contrast, and framing. This alone would have made this a spectacular tour. However, because I mentioned that I would probably also take the conventional Freedom Trail tour, we modified my original plan to focus on Beacon Hill. I was fascinated by the history and vibrancy of this storied region in Boston. I am almost tempted to take another tour in a different part of town to learn more photography techniques and history.
What a great experience! Saba was very knowledgeable and was quick to answer all of our questions. Besides knowing so much about Boston, she was so nice! I would highly recommend this tour.
Saba was awesome. I would totally recommend this tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and I am not a history buff but really enjoyed it. Also it was as smaller group than some of the other tours we saw along the way. I appreciated that and I think some of the places we stopped , specially the Parker house would not have happened with a larger group. Thank you Dana for a great tour .
Fabulous walking tour experience with Saba in Boston. I learnt so much about the history with fantastic photo tips. So pleased I chose this small group tour rather than a larger group. I could not have asked for a better experience!
We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Boston! Saba is an excellent photographer and knowledgeable tour guide. We learned so much about photography and history. Great experience!!
Saba is amazing!!! Very knowledgeable and informative about the historic part of the tour. She went was above and beyond to show me the best places and more. She also gave me amazing photography tips. ❤️ She is simply the best!!!
As this was our first visit to Boston we wanted to do something on our first day which would take us around the city and give us an insight to the history, particularly relating to the Tea Party & the War of Independence, so we chose this tour for its assurance on the group size. Didn’t want a huge group where it’s difficult to hear and ask questions. Our guide, Saba met us as promised and it turned out it was just us (my husband, Saba and myself), which was wonderful. Saba is a beautiful lady, who really knows her stuff and we had a brilliant time. She pointed out ways of getting some amazing photos even with just an iPhone. She answered question after question and we ended our tour feeling like we had gotten to know the city so much better and it’s rich history. We also felt we had made a real friend in Saba and we will never forget her. We really can’t recommend this tour enough and if you are reading this, you are encouraged on the strongest terms to book and enjoy! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks again Saba, you made our Boston trip all the better!
Would recommend to any fan of history and photography. Our guide Saba was very friendly and informative. The walk is not too long or difficult. Perfect way to learn about Boston's Revolutionary history and get some great photos.
We really enjoyed our Freedom Trail History and Photo Walking tour. Saba's enthusiasm for photography was contagious, and she offered many creative ways to capture terrific pictures of our time in Boston. Saba was extremely knowledgeable about the city's rich history and architecture and we appreciated the historical photos she shared to show how much the area had changed over the years. We were pleased at how willing Saba was to take pictures of us throughout the walking tour, and we now have many memorable photos of our trip to Boston!
Loved this tour that combines the historical background with pictures that help capture this famous trail! Learned ao much from our tour guide Saba.
Saba was both knowledgeable on the history of Boston as well as helpful on the camera angles to get great shots of historical sites as well as pictures of my daughter and I. My daughter is currently taking US History in high school and she still learned quite a bit from Saba on the early days of our country's history. We'll definitely be back for another one of Saba's tours.
There was an exploration of thought into the angles of each photo opportunity which added to the experience tenfold. Being taught photo editing skills via phone app was crucially positive as well.
Perhaps we were expecting a different kind of tour, but we were both surprised when we got to Faneuil Hall and were told that it was the end of our tour! A Freedom Trail tour without the opportunity to see Paul Revere's Home or the North Church??? Prior to our tour, we didn't know that Saba runs several other tours. After it, we researched them to see what is included in each. Perhaps including a list of the sites to be visited in each of her tour descriptions might be helpful to future travelers to ensure that they know exactly where they are going and what they will be seeing.
I was asked to reschedule more than once. I was given a refund. Still not impressed. I don’t recommend this tour
Walked on a portion of the Freedom Trail--maybe 25% of the total trail length. Some historical "facts" supposedly dispelled. Not nearly as comprehensive/complete as we had hoped. Guide was friendly and able to answer questions.
Saba must be a historical researcher as she can quote dates without wavering. I learned so much in a short period of time and anyone else who plans on taking this tour should request Saba...two big thumbs up!
Enjoyed the small size of this group. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. Wear good walking shoes! A small microphone on the guide would be extremely helpful. Truly enjoyed it.
Not enough history and background given. We went on part of the freedom trail but very little history was given.
Saba was so enthusiastic and dedicated to making sure we all learned a lot and were able to take many creative photos.
Saba was nice and knowledgeable about the history of the area, but the photography part of the tour was very disappointing. We took our three teens on the tour and were expecting to learn some cool tricks and tips for taking photos, but angle and zoom were about it.
Saba was so knowledgeable and friendly. This was our first visit to Boston and we wanted to learn more about the historical events that happened here. She pointed out things that we would have never seen and shared accounts of the way some events actually happened. She also shared some great photo tips. And we were so thankful that we weren't in one of those large groups where you can hardly see what the guide is talking/shouting about. We highly recommend Saba!
Matthew was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. He made the experience very enjoyable. He tried to keep us in the shade as much as he could, and also gave opportunities for sitting and bathroom/water breaks.
Just enjoyed seeing all the history and beautiful buildings. Enjoyed all the landmarks we saw. Our guide was wonderful.
Great experience saba was great at explaining very well we had lots of fun learning she took us to the most important places
My two grandkids and I were here celebrating their 16th birthdays. We are learning appt about the history of Boston!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and took her time showing us all the points of interest. The photo ops were fantastic. Highly recommend this tour.
I grew up in the Boston area and have visited the city hundreds of times. This tour was my favorite and most rewarding Boston experience... and I attended the Patriot's 1st Super Bowl parade in 2002! Saba is a sweet and patient guide with endless knowledge of Boston's history. Her perspectives of photography are fresh and fun! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history of Boston, and anyone who enjoys taking unique pictures - even if it's just on a smart phone.
Thank you so much to Saba for a wonderful tour. Saba is full of amazing information about Boston. We had such a fabulous time. She also helped us take very unique and creative photos of Boston that are great treasures from our trip. She would give us tips on what settings for our camera to get the best photos - invaluable information we will take with us on future trips. We look forward to booking another tour with Saba again.
This tour was wonderful! Saba is the best for sure. We had already gone on a few different tours, so she had customized it so we did not repeat the attractions. The insight she had was fantastic and the places we visited were absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend this tour!
As a born and raised Bostonian , who has been living in California for 32 years I decided to bring my son ,and 3 sisters who still live in Mass. on this tour. Saba was amazing!!!! We truly enjoyed the tour even with the cold temperatures, we were captivated for the one and a half hour tour.. so many unknown facts were brought out , and the photography was amazing, such a gracious host....
Saba was a wonderful guide. She had so much knowledge and did it with such enthusiasm even though she’s don this so many times. Her photo opportunities were clever and beautiful too, not to mention she also bought some props with her. Thank you and we would highly recommend this tour.
Lovely guide who is patient with novice photographers and makes sure the best shots are taken. Tour is rich in history, leisurely in pace, and fun.
We booked this trip specifically because it clearly stated that the group size was a maximum of 10. Our group had 21 people in it. When I asked about it the owner said "well, it's a holiday weekend". The small group part of this tour only applies if they can't sell more than 10 tickets - (columbus day weekend) there are better tours with less people available at a more reasonable price
Awesome walking tour loaded with history. Saba was super helpful and had a story for every corner. She was nice enough to write a list of places to checkout for our next trip to New England.
It was a nice tour overall. Saba was knowledgeable and gave nice tips on how to take some nice photos.
What can I say that hasn’t been said before? Every trip to Boston is amazing but none more amazing than this one and Saba is the reason. Besides being the warm and wonderful person she is and a pleasure to spend time with this lady knows her history. I learned things I never learned in school. And as for her advice on photography, an inch one way or the other changes the whole picture into an amazing perspective. Well worth the money and then some. Wish I could have taken every tour she offers. Thank you Saba for an amazing day and an unforgettable experience. Sandy and Michele
Awesome tour! Saba was a delightful guide. Worth every penny! She not only showed us some great tips for taking possible photographs at different sites, but she was also full of valuable information about the city and its incredible history. We learned so much about the city and also had a lot of fun. Since we were a small tour, Saba was very flexible to catering the tour to our interests. We will return and try her other tours! Highly recommended!!!!!
Overall good! Spent little to much time on photo pictures;) although she had a great passion for it!
Saba was delightful, friendly, and attentive to all on our tour. I highly recommend doing this tour as there is no more than 10 people which allows you to be fully present and it’s very easy to hear the tour guide especially with all the background traffic, noise, etc. I learned a lot!
Saba was very knowledgeable and charming, the Photowalk concept was refreshing for our family - especially the children who enjoyed her direction and suggestions on where to take photos while considering composition and angle. Perfect amount of time, ending at with snacks at Quincy’s Market! Highly recommend
Saba was absolutely wonderful! We were in Boston with our college-bound niece -- who is an aspiring photographer and architect. We ended up lucking out and having Saba to ourselves the morning we visited. Saba customized the walking tour to our niece's interests and photographic abilities. We learned so much from her and had an incredible experience. Highly recommend this as a part of a Boston/New England itinerary!
Saba gave a great tour that was both informative and entertaining. She skillfully wove in history facts with photography tips. This tour was a highlight in our Boston weekend and I would highly recommend it for visitors who are interested in US history.
Wonderful tour! Small group- great leader- so so much more than what the description says! My teen too..texted his friends to say how great it was!
We loved the tour! Saba is very knowledgeable and helped us get amazing shots. Definitely recommend!
