Itinerary
Guests will meet their guide at the Samuel Adams statue outside historic Faneuil Hall. The experience begins with little-known facts and surprising stories about Samuel Adams the man, not just the beer bearing his name. From there, the group heads to historic and unique bars along the Freedom Trail to uncover more of Boston’s hidden history.
The tour crawls along the portion of the famous Freedom Trail in the Faneuil Hall area. Guests will visit four iconic and unique bars while their guide shares the hidden history of Boston and the American Revolution. The bars are located close together so that guests of all physical capabilities can enjoy the tour.
Guests will meet their tour guide outside Faneuil Hall, a National Historic Landmark. Their guide will reveal the hidden history behind this famous Boston landmark and its role as a gathering place for commerce, debate, and revolution. They’ll learn why the building earned the nickname “the Cradle of Liberty.” When timing and building access allow, the group may also walk through Faneuil Hall.
During the opening segment of the tour, the guide will point out the Old State House, the dramatic backdrop to the Boston Massacre. Guests will hear little-known stories about the building and the massacre, including the tale of a secret time capsule hidden inside the golden lion perched on its roof. The group views the landmark from nearby and does not enter the building.
Guests will see Boston City Hall from the outside during the tour’s opening introduction. Their guide will share surprising stories about the building, its unmistakable design, and the history of the surrounding area.
Guests will visit Quincy Market, the grand granite marketplace built beside Faneuil Hall in the 1820s. After hearing the hidden history behind this famous Boston landmark.
Guests will stop at the Boston Stone, an easy-to-miss landmark hidden in an alleyway narrow Marshall Street. Their guide will share the hidden history behind this curious relic industry and the legend that has surrounded it for centuries.
Guests will walk along Marshall Street, a narrow cobblestone lane within one of Boston’s oldest surviving street networks. Its tight layout and historic buildings offer a glimpse of the city before wide modern roads reshaped downtown. The group will stop here beside the Boston Stone while their guide shares the hidden history of this easy-to-miss corner of Boston.

Lilly was an amazing host. We were over from Scotland and had a great time
We enjoyed ourselves. It was about 2 hours long Would have preferred more factual fun information rather that what I’d all ‘woke’ information. For example was it necessary to say one patriot was not likable because he was a slave owner? Let us draw our own conclusion on his character. Why do we need to sully the reputation of the founding fathers? We can all look back and make judgements. I came to hear about the founding of our country with fun facts
It was cool learning the history of Sam Adams. Went to 4 historic Bars, the last one was absolutely packed and we couldn’t have a seat and enjoy our drinks or hear our guide.
Aislinn was wonderful and a great time
Amazing time. Got drunk and learned
Arielle is fun and knowledgable. We learned some history and tried some good beers. I have nothing else to say
our tour guide was amazing (Lily) and the company and drinks were just as great!!🤍
Lily is absolutely where it’s at! Amazing guide, super fun and highly recommended!
Hannah was amazing! She gave us a fun history lesson from classic pubs. Way better than standing outside looking at statues the whole Freedom Trail!
Hannah was so sweet and such a great experience!
It was very entertaining lots of laughs. You do not walk the full trail you stay within a few blocks so there is not much walking. Plenty of time is spent at each bar with an entertaining history lesson while you have your beverage.
Great fun in a small group. By the end of the crawl we were friends chatting around our table. Our guide was great
Lily was very knowledgeable and made it fun!

Lily did an amazing job keeping the whole tour fun and informative! Minimal walking and good mix of historical information as well as beer tasting opportunities.

We went to 4 pubs. Our guide Lilly was very knowledgeable about the local history, and we had a great couple of hours chatting with the others in the group. I highly recommend this tour.
Super cool tour had to revisit history . Amazing what I didn’t know or was taught in school
Our tour guide Cassandra was AMAZING!!!!!!
Great time! Perfect way to spend a Friday night!
We had a great time. Lilly was a great tour guide and kept us all entertained and engaged the whole time. We learned a lot about the historical pubs too. Lilly had great conversations and great recommendations too. Highly recommend.
We had so much fun on this tour. We love Boston and the pub crawl did not disappoint. Lilly was our tour guide and she was so fun and animated. We loved the places we went and the history of the pubs. Don’t hesitate! Book this.
Can’t state how fun this was! Heavily recommend!
Tour guide was good. No issues there. It has nothing to do with the Freedom Trail. It is 4 bars within a 100 yards of each other. No beer or drink included. You would think for the cost at least a beer or tasting would be included.
Gabby was so funny entertaining and informative !
We had an amazing time with aislinn!! She’s the best. Definitely recommend
Learn about revolutionary Boston while enjoying local brews and historic taverns. It’s a very short walk (less than two blocks). Some brews are exclusively available!
Very fun!! Lily was awesome and funny
This was a very fun experience, mostly because our guide was extremely enthusiastic and entertaining. And very knowledgeable about Boston history. The beer was great too, but the real highlight was our tour again.
Great tour to start a weekend in Boston! Maddie was the best guide for our bachelorette group and our last stop she left us at was so fun to continue at! We learned a lot and got to know the city.
Lilly was a great tour guide! She was fun and entertaining and made the experience a great time!
Gabby was amazing! So much personality and made the tour so much fun!

Awesome experience. Arielle was amazing
Awesome guide! Such a fun way to explore, learn, and enjoy!
Such an amazing experience! The tour was great and our guide Julie was awesome! Her story-telling was engaging and super fun and I would highly recommend this to anyone!
Ariel is awesome! She made this experience so worth it! Would happily do another tour with her!
This was so much fun and such an informative Boston history tour while also stopping at bars! Arielle was fantastic and super knowledgeable and fun!
This was a $60 tour that does not include drinks (clearly stated, fine whatever). What I don’t understand was how this tour was even worth that much. Our guide was not good. She gave us a little history at the 1st bar, and skipped the history at both the 2nd and 3rd bar. After we got our drinks at the 3rd bar, she left the tour and told us we could stay at this bar or go on to the next. This was probably one of the worst tours I’ve ever spent money on. The others in my group also agreed. We paid money just to have someone walk us around the corner to a bar and signal for us when it was time to leave. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.
Great experience - learned some cool things we did not know about Boston, the founding fathers, and beer. Aislinn was a super knowledgeable and fun.
It was great! Very informative and worthwhile. Very cool bars on the tour.
