Tour was great. Patrick was interesting and invested in ensuring we enjoyed ourselves.
Patrick was an amazing guide and brought us to some of the most delicious spots in Chinatown. He was extremely personable and easy to talk to. I recommend this tour to anyone who is trying to see Boston from a new perspective! Thank you for the wonderful tour!
Good tour. Enjoyed the spots that we stopped to sample cuisine. Would highly recommend.
Our tour guide Jocelyn was the best! She was so knowledgeable about Chinatown and made the tour memorable, especially when she found out it was my bday. She actually bought a candle and put it in a dessert and lit it for me. The food we were able to sample was incredible. You get quite a bit, including a drink from Molly Tea. I would definitely recommend Bites of Boston! Thank you, Jocelyn for an incredible experience!!
Our guide training was sensational! Additionally, Andrew did an amazing job discussing all of the different places we stopped and the food options had very knowledgeable!
Katie B took us on wonderful tour throughout Boston’s Chinatown . We enjoyed dim sum and soup dumplings among other wonderful food and treats. Katie was knowledgeable about the history and food. She has developed great relationships at these local spots so we were welcomed guests and got to experience each place’s best. We had time to walk and talk (and digest) between bites so it was a relaxed vibe and more than enough food—including some take home specialties. And now we have some favorite new places to revisit and enjoy in the future!
Had a wonderful time on our tour through Chinatown. Loved the restaurants, bakery and tea shop where we enjoyed absolutely delicious offerings. Andrew and Patrick were fantastic tour guides. They were fun and offered wonderful history as we enjoyed getting to know The neighborhood. It was a perfect tour!
Katie is very sweet and knowledgeable. The tour was super fun and provided us a chance to try something new.
Experienced this tour with my husband and adult son. Our tour guide was Andrew who did a wonderful job giving us some information on the history of Chinatown and on the samplings of food we were eating. A nice intro tour with yummy food! Recommend for a fun day out!
Katie was a great guide! Not too much walking, three restaurant stops and some history of Chinatown. Group size is not too big. It was fin because our group was friendly!
Andrew was a wonderful guide. Food was very good and plentiful. It is surprising how small Boston’s Chinatown is so the “tour” was more about small pockets of history and the influence of Taiwan in this particular community.
swetha was awesome! Fun to learn a little more about your hometown. The restaurants were all accepting and the food was excellent
This was a fantastic tour with fun historic tidbits of information and great food along the way. Definitely recommend.
Wow what a fun afternoon! The food was a great variety and delicious. The stops were well planned. Katie our guide was exceptional
Be adventures and try everything and you will definitely not starve. Good history, tons of different food and fun guides.
The tour was paced well & super informative -- I learned a lot about the history of Boston's China Town in between food stops. It was a good amount of food. I wasn't bursting, but felt very full by the end. Would definitely recommend!
Great food and our tour guide was a real gem. Very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We really enjoyed getting to know Chinatown, even though we’ve been going there for years. We learned new spots, and visited places we hadn’t been in a while. All of them were great!
Thanks to our wonderful tour guide Katie, we enjoyed not only amazing food but learned about the interesting history of Chinatown. Of note were places like Oxford St. and Ping On Alley that gave us a glimpse of how Chinatown once was. We visited 4 restaurants representing different styles of Asian cuisine. Samples were generous but not too much. Restaurants staff were welcoming. Great day!
Everything was terrific. Food was fantastic and started simple and they got much more interesting. Katie was wonderful and a lovely tour guide.
Plenty of wonderful food. Our guide was very pleasant, appeared well prepared, but we were unable to hear her 90%of the time
She was amazing!so friendly great smile Food was great lots of food! All A rated restaurants Thanks so much
This was my second time on the Chinatown tasting tour and it was just as wonderful as I remembered from the first time! We learned so much about the history and culture of Chinatown. There was a generous amount of fabulous food at each tasting. Our guide, Katie was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both the food and the history. I have recommended this tour to so many friends!
We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on the Chinatown food tour. Our guide Katie was really knowledgeable about the neighborhood’s history and culture. She was super engaging and very friendly as well. The food we sampled was so creative and for the most part unlike anything I’ve ever had at a Chinese restaurant. We were so full by the end of the tour but every bite was worth it!!
This approximately three hour tour of various Chinatown eateries includes Taiwan Cafe, Double Chin HK Care, Bao Bao Bakery, Ho Yuen Bakery, China Pearl Restaurant and Shojo Boston. The six locations give you a wide variety of food found in Chinese American restaurants: General Tso's chicken, soup dumplings, Spam fries, dim sum, and an adult beverage at the end; a great way to end the tour. Nicole was very informative. We learned the origin of the Double Chin HK Cafe: the two owners are daughters of Chinese immigrants, both named Chin, thus "Double Chin Cafe." It was there that we had Spam fries. Both the food and tour itself were very good and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely as did the other ten people in our group based on our conversations with them.
Nicole was an awesome guide! I had such a good time on the tour and the food couldn’t have been better!
Nicole and Laurel gave us a wonderful day tripping through Chinatown yesterday. From traditional chinese to hip foodie places we did it all! Thank you, ladies for the education and fun.
