Fun and educational tour. Lots of great tips on taking interesting photos. Saba pointed out many interesting details that we would not have noticed. Would highly recommend this tour.
Saba was a delight! She was very knowledgeable of the architecture in the Back Bay and Beacon Hill areas. She also gave great photo tips, along with transportation, lunch and shopping suggestions. I would highly recommend the tour. Enjoy!
A beautiful day and well organized tour by Saba! She shared great information and super fantastic photo spots! A treasure of memories was created.
We were very fortunate to have Saba as our tour guide who was very knowledgeable, warm and interesting. Even though I had lived in Boston before, I had never been inside the amazing Boston Public Library, the Fairnount Copley Hotel or the Old South church. The architecture tour was wonderful. And walking en route to the Boston park filled with flowers-in-bloom, we were delighted to see the many hand-made elephants in person. We would highly recommend this tour.
Saba was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Boston, and she is a very talented photographer who helped us take fabulous photos.
Saba is the best guide. This was my second tour with her. I always recommend her to my friends when in Boston
Although this was labeled an Architecture tour that included photography and history, there was very little focus on architecture during the tour. In addition, although a verbal description of the Boston Library was given, during the first 15-30 minutes of the 2 hour tour, we were left on own to walk through library! Saba was pleasant and courteous, but for this tour, just too much was missing ☹️.
Our guide was very informative and showed us how to take some great photos. She took us to really good locations to get good and memorable photos of the back bay and Beacon Hill.
Saba was very nice and informative. She went above and beyond to tell us the history of places and buildings, and gave us wonderful picture recommendations.
An insightful casually paced tour by knowledgeable tour guide. Appreciated the photo taking recommendations.
Walk though specific area of downtown neighborhoods and learn best practices of photo capture. Learn about history..
Saba is great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend her tour. Great for a solo traveler.
Saba did a great job telling us about the culture, history and architects that influenced the Boston skyline. She is very knowledgeable on photography angles, approaches and editing and strives to make everyone a better photographer. She appreciates aches with humor and you can truly tell she enjoys honing peoples skills.
Good orientation to Back Bay and Beacon Hill and their historic importance. Knowledgeable, personable guide.
We learned historical facts about key buildings and areas we walked. Saba was very familiar with the buildings to provide us great hints for taking great pictures.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very patient. She showed us tips for getting photos. She was able to change up plans when photos had to be modified due to weather conditions or other obstructions were in the way.
Saba was absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable pleasant willing to show us how to get to get awesome shots. Would absolutely take this tour again!!! Thank you Saba
Saba guided us through a labyrinth of architectural gems with interesting commentary and suggestions for taking quality pictures. Really a lovely way to get off the beaten path. Be prepared to walk!
We had such a great experience on the Boston Architecture, History + Photo Walking Tour—this was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Saba, was incredibly informative, engaging, and thoughtful throughout the entire tour. What really stood out was how attentive she was to our interests. Based on a conversation we had during the walk, she even took us to see an additional statue that wasn’t originally on the route, which made the experience feel very personalized. Her knowledge of Boston’s architecture—especially in the Back Bay and Beacon Hill areas—was impressive. She shared so many fun facts and historical insights that brought the buildings and streets to life in a way we wouldn’t have experienced on our own. It never felt like a scripted tour; it felt like walking through the city with someone who genuinely loves and understands it. If you’re looking for a tour that blends history, architecture, and great storytelling (with plenty of photo-worthy spots), I highly recommend this one—especially if you get Saba as your guide!
Saba is an excellent photographer and a wonderful person. We loved the sites and was an easy walk. Boston Library is amazing.
10/10. I cannot recommend this tour enough. My mum and I went on the tour at the start of November. Saba's vast knowledge, storytelling and photography skills made the tour very memorable. Thank you so much Saba. Jane and Hilary
It was an absolutely delightful experience, like walking with a friend who shares their favorite gems in the city with you. Saba is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and wonderful to learn from. She gave many tips how to improve photos and I have a great collection of photos now. Thank you, Saba, for a wonderful experience!

Saba was insightful and knowledgeable about the area. Her photo tips were fabulous and very helpful. She was professional, polite and kind.
Our guide, Saba was the BEST! She was so full of knowledge and so helpful in letting us know where the best photos should be taken from and taking photos of our group!
We had done a couple different tours in the city before we did this one and were delighted to discover we were seeing almost completely different sights and neighborhoods than the other tours took us on. and not only did we get to see some amazing parts of the city and learn some incredibly interesting things about its history and architecture, we got some of the best vacation photos we’ve ever taken!
Our guide (Saba) was knowledgeable about photography, architecture, history and geography, making this a very rewarding and, interesting and valuable experience. Would suggest this for anyone interested in knowing more about Boston, whether a local or visitor!
Saba, my guide, was absolutely wonderful. She shared her detailed knowledge of Boston architecture. And the walk though Beacon Hill was delightful.
Saba was a fantastic guide. Her knowledge of the area and best photo opportunities was top-notch. Her advice for angles and camera settings was excellent. Highly recommend.
This tour is terrific. It's both a photo tour and history lesson. Saba gives so much interesting history about Boston and is so easy to talk to that once or twice I forgot that I was there to take pictures. She gently reminded me and helped with places to stand, settings to use and other photo tips. I recommend this to folks from out of town and people like me who live here.
Saba was a great tour guide. The tour itself was fascinating. Saba had great interest in her topic. My pictures are wonderful.
A very nice tour to take my nephew from out of state on. I am a local and learned a few interesting things. Well worth the time and price, very nice tour guide.
Great tour with up close looks at several locations. Wonderful viewpoints, pictures and history. We really enjoyed this tour!
Excellent tour guide, Saba. Very knowledgeable and personable. Shared the nuances of the places visited I highly recommend this tour.
Saba was very informative, and had not only the history to share about the places we went, but had all of the photo tips one could need. Should you need them. She’s done the tours for 22 years and one of her favorite spots to show the groups is a little street which is well photographed. I have the distinct honor of deciding to not photograph that street which, Saba told me, I was the only one in 22 years not to. It was great to learn so much history, and to see so much and so short of time as a first time visitor to Boston. Highly recommended.
One of the highlights of our 4 day trip to Boston! I learned so much about the history and architecture of the Beacon Hill and Back Bay areas that I couldn't have put together from websites or any self guided tour. Saba is a fountain of knowledge and full of insights and tips on how to compose the best photographs using your smart phone. Years ago, I enjoyed her Freedom Trail tour so much I booked this one too, and she did not disappoint. A gracious host, she followed up with museum and restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend any Photowalks tours!
Dana did a great job of providing us interesting information and history. Useful tips and suggestions on taking photographs during the tour. Highly recommend this walking tour.
Loved the tour and the places we have been taken to. Interesting facts and stories around architecture. Also the group is small and this is great. Recommend.
We had a fantastic time on the tour yesterday! Saba, our guide, was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, seamlessly blending history, architecture, and photography tips throughout the experience. The tour was well-organized, informative, and engaging, with plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos while learning about the area’s rich history. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and enriching experience!
This was a really nice tour. Saba did a good job of pointing out the history and interesting archtectural highlights of the buildings around Copley Square and Beacon Hill. It was a small group of 5, so it was very personal and even though we are from Boston we learned a few things.
Only 2 of us and unexpected privately tour the library and the surrounding beacon hill area. Saba is very knowledgeble on the history of the library and the perfect vantage point to take artful, memorable photos. We enjoyed the tour very much.
Saba was an excellent guide! She was very knowledgeable about Boston. She also showed us the best spot for pictures and took many excellent shots of us! I would recommend this tour highly!
Saba was so knowledgeable and gave us so much information beyond just the architecture; showing us things that we expressed an interest in and catering the tour to us. Learning about how to take QUALITY photos of architectural elements and how to use our phones to do so was such a great aspect of the whole experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone, even if you aren’t particularly into architecture. You won’t be disappointed!
This was a green walking /photo tour and we hit all the highlights I had hoped for and go some photography tips as well. Would highly recommend.
Saba our guide was very knowledgable of the history of the buildings as well as some photo opps…great tour..best tour of our time in Boston..
More photography, less architectural detail than anticipated . We had a professional photographer in our group which we should have mentioned sooner. However, good tour, interesting info, a few off the beaten tracks spots.
Our tour guide Saba was phenomenal. She was kind, personable and patient. She offered a wealth of knowledge about the history of Boston and the revolution. She transformed our trip from something ordinary into something extraordinary. We learned so much from Saba while touring the historical landmarks. In fact we enjoyed her first tour so much that we booked two more! She also offered very simple advise on how to take incredible photos just using our cell phones. Thank you Saba.
