It was perfect for what we were looking for. We were able to valet our car and explore the parts of Boston we needed on foot. Close to many venues, great food in Chinatown and a short walk to the Boston Commons and Newbury street. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the room was as advertised on the website. We’ll absolutely be back.
This hotel has insufficient noise insulation for its location and price point. Nearby clubs were blasting music until 2:30am on Saturday night / Sunday morning, and there was street noise from revving cars, stereos, and emergency vehicles all night. The room was beautiful and the service was excellent, but I would not recommend staying here if you want to sleep.
We spent the weekend at the W Boston, and while there were definitely things we enjoyed, the overall experience was a bit mixed. The room was spacious, modern, and stylish, with a very comfortable bed and a large walk-in shower. The location is fantastic and made it easy to walk to the Boch Center for a show at the Wang Theatre. We also enjoyed starting our evening with drinks at the hotel, and the DJ in the lobby added a fun, energetic atmosphere when we returned. It was a nice way to keep the night going. That said, the biggest drawback was the noise. The walls are paper thin, and we could hear conversations, doors closing, and hallway noise throughout our stay. While the lobby was lively and fun, it made us appreciate just how much sound carried once we got back to our room. For a luxury hotel, a few other details also fell short. The view from our room wasn’t anything special, and some areas of the property are beginning to show their age. It’s a stylish hotel in a great downtown location with comfortable rooms and a fun atmosphere, but if you’re a light sleeper or looking for a quieter luxury experience, you may want to keep the noise factor in mind.
Top tier place to stay in downtown Boston. Service was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Beds are comfy. Jean and Gabriella at the front desk are wonderful. Location is walking distance to several areas of town such as Newbury Street, Chinatown, Little Italy. I enjoyed my stay very much.
These guys really try to please you. Very nice hotel in a great location. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. We had a nice suite on a high floor. The concierge made some recommendations and they were spot on. They were very helpful. Check in was a breeze. The lobby bar staff was very friendly. The room was very comfy and the beds were awesome. Everything about this place is exactly what I expected.
