Comfy quiet room in a historic hotel. Only complaint was an oddly small bathroom with a deep sink that had a faucet a bit far away. And turning on the shower was also a stretch. Would definitely stay again. Check in and check out were easy.

Location is excellent. The Park Street tunnel entrance is less than a five-minute walk, and getting around the city is straightforward on foot. Unfortunately, the rooms and bathrooms are extremely cramped. As an average-sized adult male, I found myself sitting on the toilet with my right hip pressed HARD against the sink—no exaggeration. The toilet sits roughly three feet from the bed, and the bathroom offers essentially no counter space for basic tasks like shaving. The overall layout feels poorly considered and quite simply stupid. The air-conditioning system was equally frustrating. Adjusting the thermostat while the AC is running does not simply allow the room to warm; it activates the heater instead. Guests are limited to AC on, heat on, or the system completely off. Combined with forced heat from the hotel’s central unit, the already confined room became uncomfortably stuffy and dry. Given the rates, the lack of even modest amenities—complimentary water in the room or a simple continental option in the morning—is noticeable. I love Boston and will return, but I will not stay at the Omni Parker House again.
The location is excellent. The historical vibe is awesome. The Saturday morning hotel tour is great. The Parker house rolls and Boston cream pie are fun to try and you feel like you’re part of history. Yes the rooms can be tiny. Call ahead and make sure they give you a decent size room. The beds are comfortable. Very friendly staff. It’s not perfect cuz it is the oldest working hotel in the USA. But it’s fantastic for the experience and they’ve done the best they can with the layout. Great stay!!
Probably one of the most historic places to spend your nights at as a tourist in Boston is the Omni Parker House: Located on School St. the hotel played a formative role when it comes to the heritage of Boston kitchen staples. Not only did they create the Boston Cream Pie but also the Parker House Roll. In the 19th century the Omni Parker House housed numerous meaningful and influential individuals, which it is still known for these days. Right around the corner of the hotel is the City Hall and famous graveyards such as the Park Street train station. We were here for a birthday trip and were welcomed with Boston Cream Pie and a hand-written message in our room. The room itself was clean, the bathroom huge and very pretty, the beds were comfy. Although all of this, a lot of electrical amenities, TV, alarm clock and electric blinds, were unfortunately not working. We were unable to use one of the two blinds for our whole 4 day stay but since it was out to the side, it wasn’t that big of a deal. Still something that can be improved by the hotel! The lobby is beautiful, the ornate ceilings, walls and chandeliers come together nicely, the golden elevators are classics! Also the service was excellent and so friendly. At arrival your luggage will be taken upstairs, you get free drinks at request.
Great location. Our room is beautiful and lovely! Hostess at Parkers Bars was quite rude, but everyone else has been lovely so far! Look at the gorgeous detail in this building! If you're an architecture and art lover like me, this building alone is enough to keep u busy all day just looking! Location is amazing. Literally right on the freedom trail. Access to everything. Train to Salem is a 10 min walk away. Our room was immaculately cleaned. The details (pic attached) in the room on the bed (embroidered pillows?!) Are beautiful. Boston is a great city too. If I ever had a wedding it'd be here. Kennedy proposed to Jackie here! Malcom X bussed tabels! Hemingway and Dickinson also stayed here. There are alot of great pics in the last hurrah bar and the bartender is really great as well.
