Rather disappointing experience, especially for a "4-star hotel" that charged nearly $2,000 for three nights. Check-in and luggage assistance were a 0/10. After driving several hours, I arrived to discover there was no valet or convenient parking. Guests with a park are instructed to park in a public garage several blocks away and navigate busy, crowded sidewalks with their luggage. The entrance is also extremely small and easy to miss. Traveling solo with my dog made this especially difficult. When I arrived and discovered the parking situation, I called the hotel and they were able to provide no additional help with my bags - even though my car was parked in the designated loading zone right in front of the door. They could not even bring out a cart. Instead, I was told on the phone to bring my luggage in by myself and someone would help & give me a cart when I got inside. Despite visibly struggling directly in front of the check-in counter, no employee offered to help. I had to explicitly ask for the assistance again at the check-in desk while struggling to hold everything. Then, the employee at the reception/check-in told me there was a luggage cart in the common room behind him. Again, no offer to help while I was having trouble and things kept falling out of my arms. There also appeared to be only one luggage cart available, so if someone else was using it then you were out of luck. Checking out was just as stressful. I had to make multiple trips between the hotel and my car, which was parked several blocks away in a public garage while also carrying my luggage/bags and also managing my dog on a leash. Navigating the crowded, busy streets repeatedly with all my belongings was exhausting. The lack of convenient loading and unloading options made both arrival and departure incredibly frustrating. The hotel's lobby is also small, cramped and not particularly accessibility-friendly. The entrance, lobby, hallways, and corners are all very narrow. The elevators are slow, causing the tiny lobby to become overcrowded with guests practically packed like sardines. I personally witnessed wheelchair users struggling to enter the lobby, along with elderly guests having difficulty managing their luggage. Security and cigarette smoke were additional concerns. One elevator did not appear to require room-key access to reach guest floors, raising questions about security. People frequently smoked directly outside the main entrance, causing the entranceway and lobby to reek of cigarettes. Guests shouldn't have to walk through secondhand smoke just to access their accommodations. The room itself also disappointed me. The bathroom seemed dirty & outdated, especially with a toilet that reminded me of one you would find in a public restroom. Both the bedside outlet box and bathroom outlet were nonfunctional, leaving only one working outlet by the desk. I eventually was able to reset the outlet on the nightstand after a couple days, but the reset button on the bathroom one was cracked - leaving it completely nonfunctional throughout my stay. This was particularly disappointing considering I paid extra for an upgraded "Superior" room. The only positive was that nighttime noise wasn't an issue since the street the hotel is located on is rather secluded & quiet. And the location was pretty central. I was able to walk around everywhere and close easy access to the "T" (subway system). All in all, I don't think this hotel was worth the price or even deserves a 4-star rating. I paid nearly as much for these three nights as I did for a 10-night hotel stay in Hawaii, yet the accommodations and service were nowhere near comparable. Between the stressful arrival and departure, lack of assistance, accessibility concerns, cigarette smoke, and poorly maintained room...nothing about my experience justified the price or 4-star rating. I unfortunately would not recommend this property - especially to anyone traveling with their own car, solo travelers, or anyone with accessibility needs.

Stayed here for 3 nights while I visited Boston. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to many famous sites. The staff was very helpful and friendly, readily providing information and assistance. Carla was especially helpful. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel. I ate there twice enjoying the fish and chips and a corned beef Reuben.
Fantastic stay. The receptionists were very friendly. They let me check out an hour later which was very much appreciated and check in early. The location is second to none. Truly fantastic. The only super minor thing that could be done better is when checking is for them to mention about the gym, coffee, water in the hallway etc as I wasn't told any of those things when checking but thats only very minor, everything else was incredible. Bed too was great. I would happily return for a stay!
Overall, our stay was disappointing, especially for the price (725.60 USD) for two nights that we paid. The first thing that stood out was the check-in experience. While there was a staff member nearby, we essentially had to check ourselves in. For a hotel at this price point, I expected a bit more. We were in Room 801, which was right beside the elevator, so we could constantly hear the elevator and hallway noise. Because it was also a busy weekend, there were several points throughout the night where the hallway was quite loud with people coming and going. Combined with our room being directly beside the elevator, the noise made it difficult to sleep. The mattress was also quite sunken in, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The TV was heavily pixelated, none of the charging ports at the desk worked, and the room could have been cleaner. The bathtub needed a better clean, and the closet was noticeably dusty. That said, the staff were friendly, the coffee machine was a nice perk, the location was great. I’m sure the hotel has some very nice rooms as I saw photos on the website but unfortunately ours didn’t reflect that. We chose this hotel expecting a certain standard based on the price and reputation, but unfortunately our room did not meet those expectations.
Very nice hotel. The location is perfect for sightseeing Boston. Staff is lovely and very helpful. We were checked in by amazing Carla who helped us check in before the planned time. It was so kind of her, because we were tired after the journey. I would definitely recommend this hotel and choose it again if I visit Boston.
