We stayed in Boston Harbor over the weekend for 3 nights. The service was truly next level exactly what you expect from a five-star hotel in the ultra-luxury space.
I work with Preferred Hotels & Resorts, and I wanted to experience hospitality from the guest side, so we chose the Boston Harbor Hotel.
It did not disappoint at all. My wife fell in love with the hotel so much that she didn’t want to go home.
Every small detail felt thoughtful and luxurious. From the front desk and concierge to the valet, room service, and doormen, everyone provided exceptional service and consistently went above and beyond.
This is the kind of experience that reminds you what true five-star hospitality is supposed to feel like.

Amazing hotel. The staff was on point with everything!!! Housekeeping staff was so awesome. Pool was beautiful , i was even able to swim half mile 2 days in a row. Gorgeous rooms AND what a view of the harbor. Thank you Boston harbor hotel you made my first visit to your city wonderful ❤️🤍💙 ps

This is such a top notch hotel. Service was truly exceptional. Even got a Boston Harbor hotel plush for our baby. Rooms are spacious and charming. Some have commented on it being less modern which is true, but I think it’s an intentional historic charm (beautiful wood panelings, brass fixtures, etc). To each their own, I personally preferred this. The waterfront is very special too. The pool and gym were excellent, some of the best fitness amenities I’ve been to in a hotel, even with the Hyperice massagers. Also had a conference in their conference center which is amazing, waterfront views, and beautiful conference rooms.
We had a great stay at Boston Harbor Hotel. The service was excellent throughout, and the staff were warm and friendly. One detail I really appreciated was that when I requested extra amenities during our stay, they arrived beautifully wrapped in a small gift bag, which was a very thoughtful touch.
The hotel also has a lot to offer beyond the room itself. The lobby flower arrangement is beautiful, the pool is a good length for actual laps, and the wellness area stood out to me. It has an infrared sauna with 12 different light settings, which is something I rarely see in hotels, plus a hot tub and steam room. The gym is also well equipped and very usable.
The location is extremely convenient, and we loved the view from our room overlooking Boston Harbor. Seeing the seagulls and being able to open the window a bit for fresh air made the stay even more enjoyable. Downstairs, the Dandelion café downstairs was another highlight- good chai latte, a solid breakfast selection, and very convenient.
The only thing I’d note is that the rooms do not feel especially modern. To me, the hotel has a sense of history and a bit of an old-world feel—almost like a grand hotel from an earlier era. I personally still found it charming, but if you strongly prefer sleek, modern room design, this may not be your favorite style. Overall though, it was a wonderful stay!
