Neptune Mara Rianta luxury camp delivers an authentic 5-star experience that exceeded all of our expectations. We stayed in an elevated family tent with beautiful wooden floors, offering a spacious comfortable bedroom, alongside a premium bathroom featuring a full hot shower and double vanities. The service here is exceptionally attentive. Guests have access to a personal call button for 24/7 assistance from Daniel l, and the chef Gibson took excellent care of us during our stay. The culinary experience was a highlight, featuring excellent four-course menus and a full bar. As vegetarians, we were thrilled when Chef Gibson customised our meals to serve authentic Indian dishes right in the middle of the jungle. With a picturesque location right on the Mara River, you can watch hippos from the room and fall asleep to hippos grunting in the water. We had a fabulous experience and cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Well, where do I start? This is the first time I am totally mesmerized by a place, it's location and services literally in a middle of nowhere. My family and one more family visited Masai Mara from July 22 to 25, 2026 ( yes just a few days back ). We flew in the strip from Nairobi and were taken in a jeep to this place after a good 45 minute drive. As we drove through vast lands with animals in sight, I started thinking about this camp and how good it would be in this jungle. However, when we went there, my mind was completely blown off. It's a 5-start luxury place. The welcome from the front reception, quality and cleanliness of this camp, wooden floors, electricity, water, pool, luxury furniture and all were just in sight in first 5 minutes. They had Wi-fi. Unbelievable. Now comes the amazing part. Our family tent was a 2-room tent with beds for 4 people in one room and an amazing bathroom with toilet, 2 washbasins and a full shower with hot water. This whole tent was elevated and totally wooden floored. Totally 5-star. Now, services... there was a button to call a person anytime. Elphas was the guy who would show up to help you. Peter, Jacob, Solomon, John and others were there in the main area for dining. They were so attentive, ready to serve that we literally felt we were with our friends / family. Each meal was a 4-course meal... soups / salads / entrees / dessert. Full bar... no questions asked. Now, the best part... as we told them that most of us were vegetarians ( and I am an Indian guy living in Chicago ), the chef (Jacob) came out and offered us core Indian food. I was like, what??? Here? In the middle of jungle? And he did his magic. The resort was so beautiful, right at the Mara river where you can see hippos and other animals in the river. I became so emotional when we had to leave. I strongly recommend this place. I am surely going back. Thanks my friends over there.
A wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable for hippo viewing, and our tent—with its own butler—offered complete privacy despite the lodge being well occupied. The grounds are stunning, with multiple lookout spots, a bridge over the Maasai River, and a relaxing spa for post–game drive unwinding. Meals were generous 4-course offerings with great wine selections, and the staff was consistently warm and accommodating. The design, service, and serenity created the perfect atmosphere for pure relaxation.
This was an excellent choice for our first trip to Kenya! The hotel/resort/camp was amazing, with exceptional staff and service. Daniel, our butler, was fantastic, always there with a smile for laundry, coffee, or turndown service, and even guided us back to our tent at night. Robert, the waiter, served us with a smile and ensured we had the best meals, thanks to the chef. Our safari guide, Emmanuel, was outstanding, showing us everything we wanted in Masai Mara. Manager John and guest relations head Sharon were also incredible. It’s the best luxury camp in my opinion!
Very nice place a little outside of the main Masai Mara conservancy. We really enjoyed the beautiful tent, the great service and the location at Mara River, featuring the relaxing noises of the water and the hippos at night 🦛 The service is very kind and extremely professional - we loved having Gibson as a waiter, who was so knowledgeable about Masai culture. Also Kelvin was very nice and engaging as a bar man. Finally, thanks to Joseph who took care of anything else around our stay and the tent, which just worked seamlessly. Personally, we really liked the Kenyan food options and would encourage to focus on serving more of those rather than European / western food. As someone from Europe. The only consideration to make when booking this place, is that it’s a 30-40 minute drive to the Masai Mara gates. Since it’s located in Mara North, a community conservancy, you will see animals such as Zebras, Gazelles, giraffes and sometimes even hyenas on your way into Masai Mara, but for your game drives you will have a way to factor in every day.
