Mara Intrepids Tented Camp

Had a wonderful stay with my family including our 4 and 2 year old. Great view from the room, fantastic food, fun kids club and most importantly great game drives. The camp is in the middle of the massai Mara reserve so was very convenient for our game drives! Saw lots of animals thanks to our excellent guide Joab!

Intrepids mara camp exceeded my expectations. It’s perfect location .. right in the middle of savannah, on the river and very close to airstrip. The room tents were extremely comfortable and neat, device was superb and food was yummy. The staff was cordial and were very friendly. They catered to our as well as our kids needs. Last but not the least our drivers cum guide Samson for the Safari was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He and Jagao (the other driver of our second jeep) made extra efforts to show us all wildlife Lions, Leopards, Wilderbeast, Elephants , Cheetah , Zebras, Bufalloes… the list is endless. I will highly recommend Intrepids.

overall I'd rate this 4.5. the location was great (right next to the airport if you are flying in) and we really enjoyed the resident hippos, bush babies, and mongoose. the tents were basic similar to a summer camp lodge and a bit dated but overall comfortable. the staff was friendly and helpful. my kids really enjoyed the adventure club with Masai staff and the evening ranger talks were great. they also have lots of other activities to keep you busy. the food good overall. breakfast and lunch was buffet style. I would stay here again.
