We had a great tour guide, however, for what we experienced, it wasn't worth $190 each. Maybe more cheese, olives and crackers with each wine tasting. Lunch was nice, pizzas and salad.
Incredible experience wine tasting with an expert! Our guide walked us through how to access and assess wines nuances. Jeremy was patient, knowledgeable and personable. The day was perfectly planned from the variety of vineyards to the tasty lunch.

Absolutely fabulous day, incredible value as so much was included. I learnt so much on how to taste the wine at the first stop and the lunch was great. I loved the stops at the small places and the guy at the first small vineyard was very entertaining. We also had a stop at the ocean to watch the surfers which was a lot of fun. Thank you. Wonderful Having been on a few wine tasting tours (OK, a great number), this was one of the best. While it started with chocolate- not a great start for wine tasting, we quickly followed up with a lesson in wine tasting and what to look for when tasting wine - with a great worksheet that you can use again. This was quickly followed up by some of the best pizza we have had in Australia, and that says a lot having tried almost every pizza restaurant in Naples. Then things turned serious with wine tasting at three boutique vineyards where we could try out our new knowledge. Anna was very helpful with helping us to describe and understand what we were looking for when tasting. OK, it was a little more expensive than we realised, but that was because we were buying a few bottles that we were tasting - always a great sign. Finished off at a brewery- no I couldn’t understand that either. Brilliant day, brilliant group and excellent guide

Had a fabulous day on our Wine Tour of Margaret River. Jeremy was a great tour guide, with good local knowledge and the venues were beautifully presented, as were their wines. Started with a nice drive to a popular, beautiful surf beach. Chocolate tasting, Olio Bellos pizza lunch & delicious salad with some blind tastings, more wine tasting at 2 gorgeous wineries, cheese board and more wine, finishing with a beer at a brewery overlooking their dam. A really fun day with lovely travellers joining the tour as well.
We had a fantastic time with our friends. We meet some wonderful people and we all got along well. We loved going to smaller boutique producers. Anna, our guide and driver was very knowledgeable, friendly and wrangled us well, at the end of the tour.

Best tour for 3 Vineyards, chocolate factory, nougat factory and brewery. The tour took all day but with the most knowledgeable tour guide, Caroline. I was amazed at how we covered so many venues in the time period. It was a small group but perfect to see everything. Wine tasting lesson and pizza lunch at Olio Bella was informative and very tasty. This was the best day trip and I recommend you give it a try.
Jez was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. Lots of fun, we had a brilliant day. The wine tasting was an education and plentiful, with visits to diverse vineyards. Loved the blind tasting. Highly recommend this trip. Great value for money. Great playlist.
We had a great day with Waves of Wine. Caroline was excellent. Fantastic that they pick you up from your accommodation (I literally mean at the front door). We enjoyed the variety of wineries, chocolate, lunch and brewery. We didn’t necessarily like all of the wines from each winery but that didn’t matter as they all had a different vibe and reason to visit. We liked that we went to the smaller wineries. Lovely pizza and salad lunch - we’ve been on tours before and often lunch is skimpy but this was very substantial for the group and a great way for everyone to connect early in the tour. Very reasonably priced for a full day out with all tastings and lunch included.

Our guide Caroline was truly one of the best we’ve had. A local for the past seven years, she shared so many great insider tips and local knowledge throughout the day. With a master’s degree in winemaking and hands-on experience working at several of the vineyards, her insight into the Margaret River region and its wines was exceptional. She brought the wineries and the wines to life with her stories and expertise. If you’re visiting Margaret River, make sure you ask for Caroline — she made the tour unforgettable.
Great last minute wine tour in Margaret river. After we got cancelled on by another one. Took us to a lovely lunch spot for wine tasting and learning. Then a few boutique wine stops for a variety of wines to try and then a final stop in a brewery in the sun. All in all. Good chat. Good people. Good communication. Good driver ! .. good good good ! We thoroughly enjoyed the day. We were picked up from our campsite at RAC Margaret River and with only 11 of us on board. We started sharing our experiences in WA which quickly lead to great camaraderie onboard. Our host and driver Caroline was a wealth of information which enhanced the experience. Starting the day with coffee and chocolate and ending with a marriage proposal for one of the couples (she said yes), we piled out of the bus for a group photo when we left at our stop. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

She was friendly and knowledgeable of the Margaret river region and went out of her way to explain the wine making process and the region of Margaret river wineries that we visited. We had the best time on the Waves of wine tour! Jeremy was such an amazing guide fun, knowledgeable, and so passionate about Margaret River. The blind wine tasting was such a highlight the wines, oils, nougat, and chocolate were all incredible. I did the tour for my birthday, and it was honestly the best birthday ever! We loved it so much we wanted to do it all again the next day. Highly recommend!

This was such a great wine tour! It was well balanced with venues throughout the region not just wineries but also our tour guide went out of his way to teach us things about the region which were really interesting! I would 100% go with this company again. I had some small issues trying to deal with Viator but when I contacted Waves of Wine directly they were super helpful and sorted everything straight away!

This was a really great day out introducing you to the region and it's produce. While Margaret River is mainly known for it wines (the tour included a tasting class and visits to two first class small family wineries with maybe around 18 different wines on offer to taste), we also visited a chocolaterie and a brewery and enjoyed a first class lunch (with wine of course).

After a recommendation, I called and spoke to 'Jez' at Waves of Wine. Booked in for Monday 30th May 2025. Was advised I would be picked up from my accommodation at 0925 - 0945, as it was slightly out of the way for other pick ups. I was told this was included in the total cost ($170), which also included wine tours, tastings and lunch. I waited in reception for my 930ish pick up. Called 'Jez', who said I was told 10.25-10.45 for pick up. I NEVER received this notification. I went out for a walk and lost track of time. Received a call from the driver who was there to pick me up at the accommodation. Told him I was quite a way from there. He had to go, understandably, to continue the tour and couldn't wait for me. He was lovely, and said 'Jez' would help me out with something. I spoke to 'Jez' that afternoon, we chatted, and he said he'd call me later to discuss further. When he did call, I asked for another day to do the tour. There were non available for the rest of my stay - I was leaving on Thursday. He then informed me that as I was a 'no-show', I would only be refunded $70. His reasoning? I was an out of the way pick up, I was not there when specified - which I WAS - at 9.25am. I argued that $100 was a huge amount to pay for this. He said that they had to pay for my lunch. I argued that THIS WAS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE, as described. The discussion went on for far too long, and so I am now out of pocket $100 for miscommunication on their end. DO NOT BOOK!!

Honestly value was just a bit low for the price. + Wines were great - "Gourmet Lunch and Tastings" was a couple pizzas, a salad and 3 small tastings of red. - Tourer was knowledgeable but rude at times and over text prior to the event, acted like shouldn't be having fun at times.
We had a great time going out to some local wineries, a chocolate store and brewery. After the first stop everyone on the bus became acquainted with each other and that made the experience more enjoyable. The vineyards were beautiful, the first winemaker we met was fantastic and everyone had a lovely time with her. We had a friendly tour guide, a nice variety of pizzas for lunch and at each stop we had some time to browse and purchase goodies. We’ve already told some other travellers about our experience and they’re looking into booking while they’re here
