Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, we have the Forestview suite on the top floor. Fabulous views, spacious, comfy bed and bedding, centrally located, walking distance to shops, restaurants, pub etc. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay here. Very cute vibes, full of heritage character. The rooms are on the smaller side, but comfortable. The bed was very hard, as other reviews note, but our room was clean and well serviced. Parking and check in was convenient, and it’s very close to Margaret River Main Street making it easy to explore the town. Good choice if you want something decently priced with way more character than a modern hotel.
I recently stayed here while attending the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival and really enjoyed the overall experience. The location was perfect, right on the main street and within walking distance of everything I needed. I also loved the beautiful heritage-style accommodation and the character of the building itself. Another thing I really appreciated was that the rooms were serviced daily, as so many places don’t seem to offer that anymore. One thing to note is that the Wi-Fi isn’t great. This didn’t bother me personally, but if you’re travelling for work or relying on a strong connection, it’s worth being aware of. My only real negative was that I found the bed extremely hard and unfortunately didn’t get a good night’s sleep during my stay. Overall though, it was a lovely place to stay in a fantastic location.
Unfortunately this accommodation doesn't live up to the advert. We stayed in the cabin which was very noisy between 5 and 11pm with the restaurant toilets beside it. All you can hear all night is the door slamming and the toilet roll reeling. Not to mention the people miling about and talking loudly. The cabin needs a very deep clean and some maintenance carrying out. Historic and quaint shouldn't mean shabby and broken. Not a good experience I'm afraid.
We recently stayed at this 1922 hotel, which is charming with the décor and the old meets new feel. We stayed in the MERLOT Queen room/Suite The location is perfect, only a couple of blocks away from the city center. However, the room itself : 1. The mattress, I'm sure is also from the 1922, hard and uncomfortable. 2. Hot/Cold Showers, the shower was not able to run constantly at the set temperature, it would run warm then cold.. while in it 3. The street noise was not ideal, with load motorcycles and vehicles going by from dusk/dawn. 4. SPIDERS, I woke up with a spider bite on my back. All in all, its a cute place, but I would not stay there again or recommend it. The older gentleman that checked us in was not welcoming or friendly. I also mentioned, to him in the morning, he may want to spray the room for spiders, as I had been bitten, and he scoffed at me .
