Very Comfortable coach , lovely driver and guide. Frigiliana was pretty , however I thought Nerja was stunning and definitely the highlight. I didn’t do caved so can’t comment on that part I would suggest to the guide that he asks everyone to keep to their same seats before leaving the coach the first time . I couldn’t believe how childish adults were about where they were sitting .. ended up comical!

Excellent trip with Diego and Tania the guide. She is very knowledgeable and customer friendly. As all the tours in this region, there is a fair bit of walking involved with not much of it being on the level. Take comfortable walking shoes and water. Plenty of local craft shops in both towns and some fantastic restaurants in Nerja for lunch, look for Calle Gloria for the tapas bars or there are also lots of places around Balcón de Europa although these tend to be more expensive and less friendly than others.
Two beautiful towns worth visiting in a tour like this. Lots of cute shopping and nice views. Enough time to see and enjoy both places.
The tour was relaxing & the views were fantastic, however, I did not feel that I learned much about these two great cities. I did enjoy visiting the Wall of Europe. I don't think that I learned much plus to have to pay extra to see The Secret Caves seemed unfair since it should have been included in the price of the tour originally.
I totally enjoyed Frigliana cliff side foliage landscapes and spectacular scenery. Would have loved more time to explore. Nerja is spectacular. The views the ambiance I'm nit a drinker but I could eat Gelato all day long
I had an amazing experience! I loved my visit to both Frigiliana and Nerja. The views were amazing and the trip was easy to take. The tour guide could have shared more information with us, but he admitted he was not feeling well that day, so I understood.
This was a great look into two area of Spain that most people don't get a chance to experience. The tour guide help us navigate the day and the drive kept us safe. I would recommend this tour
Frigiliana was a lovely place to visit, but Nerja left us feeling underwhelmed. While it’s not terrible, there’s really not much to do except go to a restaurant. We had two and a half hours of free time, which felt excessive. Our guide provided a map with points of interest, but we ended up seeing everything, and it was incredibly disappointing. If we’d known beforehand, we’d have brought our swimsuits and spent the time at the beach and in the sea instead. The guide’s personality was off-putting and weird. He was rude and condescending, not even looking at you in the eyes when answering questions. His explanations confused everyone on the bus. To top it off, he spent the last 20 minutes of our trip talking about his life and his music, as if he hated his job and just wanted to promote himself and get some trafic on his Spotify page. Those who visited the caves returned covered in huge bites from what must have been the most hungry flies ever, and they didn’t seem impressed either by the caves themselves. Overall, it was okay, but I’d recommend hiring a different guide or company. And don’t forget your swimsuit!
Tour was canceled still waiting for a refund . Was looking forward to the trip but unfortunately it was canceled for some reason
Although we loved seeing the two cities, we felt the guide gave us very little direction as to what restaurants to try (specifically in Nerja). She just waved us in a general direction. And we did not have any wine tasting or tapas! Overall, would not recommend unless you can guarantee a good guide and the full experience.
The trip was like leafing through the Spanish most beautiful photo album, except I was able to step inside every picture. I walked through pages filled with grand castles, sunlit vineyards. Each scene alive with color, sound, and scent. The journey stitched together moments of wonder a bus ride through rolling green hills, a quiet morning in a sleepy village — into a story I’ll be telling for the rest of my life."
The scenery was breathtaking but there was a lot of downtime. If you are looking for somewhere to just wander the streets this is the place.
This day with Covi the guide and Paco the driver was great! Frigiliana and Nerja would probably have been skipped if not for this convenient tour. We even had a wine tasting and some tapas in Frigiliana before walking around the alley ways! A good spot to use the restroom and buy some gifts! Covi was great and informative. Recommend!
A wonderful day with a great guide Sara and great bus driver.
Excellent trip, loved frigliana and tasting, wish we had a little more time to explore, Nerja was also lovely. Micha was excellent and Anna the driver was superb. All round brilliant day out
Both towns are amazing. The both two white washed towns are beautiful. Frigiliana is small village never lacks of charm. Enjoy walking along the narrow cobblestones streets. Nerja is a resort like seaside town with beautiful waves. (Watch out for pocket pickers) Our guide Covi and driver David are both friendly and we were very well taken care of during the trip. Book this one!
The tour to Frigiliana and Nerja were very enjoyable. The wine tasting and tapas were also excellent. Both the tour guides Susana y driver Jose Antonio were excellent and very professional. I recommend this tour highly.
We enjoyed both cities very much, lots of stairs in Frigiliana and a great view of the Mediterranean Sea from Nerja
The tour guide was excellent. He handled everything in a very calm and professional way, which made the experience very pleasant. When I was still waiting, he kindly called me to check if everything was okay — I really appreciated that. I’ve had excursions with other companies before, but this was by far my best experience so far. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and smooth. I truly enjoyed it. In my opinion: give this man a promotion! Highly recommended. X soraya
Well organized tour. Free time in Frigiliana could have been better presented before the arrival. It felt a bit confusing, but we found our way. Nerja was easier to navigate. All together, great trip!
Overall it was a very good week in Nerja. The weather was excellent at around 21-23 degrees.Journey time from Malaga airport by taxi was around 45 minutes, although this was around 10pm so much longer if you arrive or depart during the day. In our opinion, it is a place that caters for the more senior traveller and would not think it much of a draw for anyone below the age of 50..we are late 60's and early 70's but fit and mobile.Research your accommodation...we were only 8 minutes from the beach going downhill but 15 going back up, affectionately known as Cardiac Hill. We stayed in Villa Flamenca, an excellent adults only hotel..I would suggest we were average age residents. Highly recommended if you are above average fitness...many residents opted to stay by the pool..possibly because of the hotels elevated location. The old town is easily accessible on foot, many restaurants of variable quality and cuisine.Dont neglect the smaller tavernas and tapas bars... Balcon de Europe is a lovely spot for a stroll, but I would not wish to be anywhere near that area in the height of Summer. Very impersonal and more expensive than elsewhere. Step away and a 5 minute walk north of there is,in our opinion,a much better option when drinking or dining. Beach restaurants shut at 1700 in the Winter months..well kept beaches although in places a bit regimented...but each to there own. Wine and beer by the glass is much cheaper than the average UK bar. As for Malaga airport it really needs to get its act together with the transition from check in to passport control. Two passport control officers serving at least a 200 person queue, probably 300.Rediculous. I thought it was a one off but have since learned its usual. Accompanied with the RYAN AIR experience, it was not a comfortable time for the majority in that queue. You have been warned.
The guide was not translated the same information in English from information that he provided first of all in Spanish. This is a lesson learned for travelers to not book trips which has 2 languages in the same time. Big mistake.
Excellent driver and guide (Adolfo and Alex), a beautiful day and stunning scenery. Who could ask for more?! Highly recommend!!
The tour itself was a quick way to see other sites in the Costa del Sol. Just transport and orientation, no other guidance, which may be good for you or may not. Here's my 1 and only issue: The instructions provide an address, which is great, but the Plaza is enormous so more signage would be helpful. This may come as a surprise to Carlos, the guide, but we don't actually live in Málaga, so getting to an address is a feat in itself. There are ways to make this less stressful. For example, I have a day trip tomorrow where the coordinator has indicated the color t-shirt they'll be wearing. A day trip i took from Madrid (as well as one in Dubrovnik) provided signs that included the TripAdvisor logo. In Portugal, Italy, France, Costa Rica, and Peru (and more but you get the point), the trip coordinators sent WhatsApp messages the day before with meeting details. ¿Claro?
Frigiliana is just amazing little town... like aHeaven! Don´t to be missed. This trip is just perfect way to go there an big plus to be in good hands of the driver José Antonio and the guide Covi! And extra plus to visit interesting Nerja on the way!
While I enjoyed the day trip I didn’t do enough research in this trip and realized it was a lot of free time.. I love history so I missed the chance to learn about the towns we visited.. also it would have been nice in the description if it was mentioned that a good idea could be “bring your bathing suit” as an option because of the free time we had. It was a nice trip though and I met and bonded with the people coming along.. needed a bit more guidance but I had fun
Jorge did an outstanding job of sharing the history of everything we did and saw. His English was excellent and I completely enjoyed the day.
Really enjoyed this trip Frigliana very hilly but worth the walk. Guide very friendly and informative. Pick up on time and also drop off would recommend.
In May, I took a spontaneous solo trip to Málaga — something I’d been meaning to do for a while. I ended up booking a last-minute excursion through visitanddo.com, and I’m so glad I did. Our guide, Carlos, was fantastic — incredibly kind, upbeat, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable for everyone. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Nerja, a charming and cozy town with stunning beaches and a relaxed vibe. Walking through its streets and enjoying the views of the Mediterranean was exactly what I needed. Traveling solo can be intimidating at times, but this trip reminded me how rewarding it can be to just go for it. No regrets — just memories.
We had a great time on the trip. Carlos was a very informative and pleasant guide. He gave us just the right amount of information and we had enough free time to look around by ourselves. The puck up point was very convenient. This trip was very good value for money. My only negative comment is that the ‘tapas and wine tasting’ was in a small grocery shop, the quality of tasting was poor and owner was rather grumpy. This didn’t really bother us or detract from the trip.
With the sun present great discovery the suggestion from the guide were perfect to see the beauty of rhe 2 municipality
Lovely trip ! Enjoyed this trip as we had a small group and our guide Daniel was very helpful and friendly. Comfortable coach and plenty of time to explore by ourselves. Frigiliana was particularly pretty.
Beautiful towns! Daniel was a great tour guide, just the right amount of interaction and free time!!
Absolutely appalling. Despite about 6 items of correspondence noting that the trip commenced at 10.30, including the original advert for the trip, the actual trip departs at 9.30. Subsequently we missed the trip and, despite complaint, have yet to receive a refund.
Would have liked more dirrections on things to visit and where to go in Nerja. The Air Conditioning was not working in the bus and it was a very hot day. The trip back to Malaga was hard and very hot in the bus
Frigiliana is pretty but overrun by tourists. Nerja mainly offers a fantastic view and nice beaches. Tour is basically a ride to the two places with some explanation by the guide. Aircondition broke down but neither was the vehicular exchanged (there would have been > 5 hours to do so) nor did we get the slightest excuse, both leaving me irritated.
My friends and I had a wonderful time on this trip. The two locations are beautiful, a true taste of traditional Spain. Our guide was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. He recommended where to go for tapas and we all had a fabulous meal. I think the trip was good value, great guide and I would highly recommend it.
Enjoyable day trip to Frigiliana and Nerja. Thanks to Daniel our guide who provided interesting clear and informative info in both English and Spanish and our driver for his safe driving. Enjoyable trip thank you
I thought it was a bit strange that our guide mentioned that he and the bus driver wanted drinks at the end of the day, "would help my career"?....
pleasant city but not much effort for the French
Ana the driver and Susana the guide were very kind and very professional.
It has been a very special day in Frigiliana and Nerja, on a very complete and comfortable excursion. We really liked the distribution of time, the places, and how our guide Alex explained what we were going to visit. A day to remember.
Two very beautiful villages to discover with enough free time to explore as we pleased! Very friendly guide who makes a huge effort to facilitate communication and understanding. I highly recommend this excursion!
Wonderful visit to the white village and to Nerja with the Balcony of Europe
The excursion to Frigiliana and Nerja was very well organized. Everything went according to schedule and as planned, and the guide did a good job. However, there is one aspect they should review: the excursion description indicated that a tasting in Nerja was included, but in the end, it did not take place, nor was any explanation offered regarding it. Even so, the experience was very pleasant and I would recommend the excursion, although it would be advisable for the published information to match what is actually offered.
Very nice! Beautiful discovery and some explanations were given in French! Great!
Fantastic bus and guide. Everything is designed to make the day as good as you do it yourself.
Nice sightseeing walk through two beautiful villages. Quiet tour.
3 hours in Nerja, too long for me. Had I known, I would have rather sought an excursion to see the caves.
I had a great time! Yuri, the driver and of course Laia, the guide were up to scratch, pending every detail. Thanks guys: I WOULD REPEAT!
