I've been on a number of walking tours and this one was excellent. Javi was a fantastic tour guide. He was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about Marbella. Whether the subject was dining, shopping, history or other cultural references, Javi had a wealth of insights. In fact, we followed a food recommendation from him after the tour and had our best meal in Spain. I just wish that we had found him earlier in our trip to experience more of Andalucia with his local touch.

Great early afternoon tour learning about Marbella. Javier our host showed us the great contrast between the modern Marbella city and coastal area to the ancient old town tucked right in the middle. We explored the narrow streets and alleyways, saw 16th century palaces and chapels, learned the unique history and got great insight on what to do after our tour. Plaza de los Naranjas was so cool. The afternoon concluded with an olive oil tasting where we sampled close to 20 premium varieties. Absolutely loved it and Javier was great. Highly recommend.

Great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and gave very good info on the history but also was very flexible to take us to areas of old town that were very fun to see. Was here during the holidays and he took us to some of the spots that were decorated. The private olive oil tasting was one of the highlights of our trip

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our private tour through historic Marbella with Javier. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and shared historical information as we walked through the maze of streets and shops. The olive oil tasting at the end was a treat as well. The shopkeeper there explained the nuances of so many different oils and provided bread so we could sample each. Highly recommend!

I am so excited to post my experience with Javier - our good looking and very professional tour guide. He was an amazing guide, pointing out all the interesting things about the area. Two hours was just about the right amount of time to “sell” this beautiful city. Going in the off season just made this intimate tour feel even more intimate. Javier almost felt like an old friend at the end of the tour. His English was almost flawless. He seemed to know everyone in the town which was super charming. And his pride and love of the city is evident. The olive tasting was especially nice. His recommendations were very appropriate for me. I loved all of his recommendations and am planning the remainder of my visit on those recommendations. I highly recommend him for any type of tour of this beautiful area.

Javier was great. 4th generation Marbellaen. The walk through old town was complete the history anecdotes, spiced with a bit of the mystic past. Our group had a great time. Also, his dining recommendations were spot on. The "best paella" in Marbella was "the best paella" we had this week.

Loved learning about the history of all the different buildings, walking through the scenic narrow streets and enjoying the vibrant colours that appeared everywhere. The Picasso paintings were a treat as was the olive oil tasting session. Take water and comfortable shoes.
