From Estepona: Guided Canyoning Tour On The Guadalmina River

Very well organized. We enjoyed the activity. The jumps were safe, although a little scary for my first time, but easy once you take your first jump. The water was comfortable for October. The guides were very knowledgeable and made our jumps easy.

A fantastic experience for myself and my 11 year old son. The perfect level of challenging for us, I would say for an 8 year old you would need to be very capable as need to abseil down a 4m dam and it’s hard work at times swimming through but a fantastic experience I would and have recommended to anyone!

Serious fun, but more strenuous than expected. The guide was truly fantastic with other guests and another young guest. I was completely impressed with him and his approach to the entire group. Just note, a lot of swimming. Also, no snacks or drinks. I do t think the wayer fountain at the end should count as drinks. Although no snacks or drinks, I still rate it a five star experience. Just ear more before you come, as you’ll need the energy xx

I would highly recommend this trip! The team made us feel incredibly safe while still delivering a truly exciting and adventurous experience. I did it with my son, and we both had the time of our lives. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish, and I can’t recommend it enough!

A relatively easy canyon experience, full of slides and jumps, although the algae makes the rocks quite slippery in some places. This is a great half day activity for most people.

Such a fun way to see unexpected things in nature so close to Estepona. Our guide Raul was really into his craft, happy, and did a great job. You WILL get wet, but very refreshing water temps.

Only thing stopping me putting 5 /5 was the comms around where to meet and timings was quite last minute making us have to really rush. Every other aspect was spot on so totally recommend this

Great way to spend a morning with the family! Julio was a great guide and great with our 11 and 13 year olds. It’s all our boy is talking about now. The views were incredible, the jumps were exhilarating, and the Julio was extremely prepared and engaging. We would do this again in a heart-beat!

This was such an amazing activity. It way exceeded our expectations going into it. Tour guide was amazing and made the experience even more fun. Top activity! Warm welcome and excellent support, the setting is really pleasant, and the different jumps are accessible to everyone. Julio guides beginners well, and you have a great time. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Had great time with South Coast Adventures. Robert, our guide was informative, made sure everyone was safe but most of all made sure everyone had FUN! Would definitley recommend to give this a go, I took my teenage son who loved the rock jumping!

Cliff jumping was fun and swimming between the rocks was a lovely experience. The tour guides were absolutely entertaining and helpful! We had a great time!

Nice trail. VERY competent and coaching guide (Nicholas) with high security awareness. The team from South Coast Aventuras, Nicholas and Julio, are passionate about the canyoning sport and very friendly, which is apparent when they coach you through the trail. The actual hike is quite easy yet entertaining and with our guide we had a great time! Warmely recommend as an alternative to trail hiking and defenitely better than spending the day on the beach.

It really is a great experience for getting into canyoning. Our guides Raul and Adrian were very nice and helpfull and made the experience even better. Also the communication was good and they reply fast. I would definitely recommend!

Wow! A great introduction into Canyoning with climbing, jumping, swimming, sliding and abseiling. Julio and Roberto were great guides providing good instruction and support with encouragement to push our boundaries. As three fit guys in our 60's, we really enjoyed this excursion and it has given us a taste for doing more similar / harder adventures. This would be a great activity for adults and teenagers looking for thrills, particularly if you haven't done anything like this previously.

A great experience. This route is of a very affordable technical level. And it's got some really cool jumps and areas. But they wouldn't have been half as interesting without the company of our guide Raul. Nothing better than going with the advice and support of someone so prepared and knowledgeable about the area. Great professional and better person.

Dangerous Enterprise. My friends and I left all our belongings, including cell phones and wallets, with the representatives of this Enterprise and they stole from us. Enterprise can't even be held responsible. I don't recommend it. Would you like to know what kind of insurance you have with your clients?

Canyoning had been on our list to do for a while, now finally the chance. We got what we were promised. Beautiful nature, but now seen in a different way. A walk through the water, swimming here and there, sometimes a natural slide, fantastic! Along the way there are possibilities to jump off a rock, it is allowed, but certainly not necessary. The rocks are between 3 and 6 meters high. The abseiling of about 5 meters was fun to do. Our guide, Nicolas, fantastic man. Very relaxed, very experienced and clear about safety. (wonder if he remembered bomb...). You get a wetsuit with helmet and armor here. Shoes can be rented for 5 euros, which we have done. Good thing, because water shoes won't get you very far. A wetsuit is apparently not self-evident, we saw another organization that did not have this one.

Spontaneously we decided to book a canyoning tour. My mail request was answered immediately. The boss Julio organized a VIP transfer from the hotel in Marbella. Our guide Raul picked us up on time and took us to the start of the tour. We were equipped with professional material. We started with neoprene, helmet and seat belt. Raul guided us safely through the gorge for over two hours. Great fun for adults and children. And thanks to the good equipment and professional support at no time dangerous. At the finish Roul offered us free drinks and a small snack. What a service! A guide must be booked for this tour! Walking the gorge without supervision and equipment can end unpleasantly! We highly recommend South Coast Aventuras! We won't forget the day anytime soon! Thank you Roul and Julio!

We did this tour with 3 adults and 2 children aged 14 and 15. Our guide Julio was super relaxed and friendly. You are not pushed to do things that you actually find too scary and he provides really good guidance. The tour itself was super fun to do and the area really beautiful. Highly recommended!
