Buggy Adventure With Incredible Views Of The Sea And The Reservoir

If you've never driven a buggy like this give it a go, but caution... it's super loud, screechy, bumpy and dusty. You might bring ear plugs to help. The guide provides goggles and scarf to cover your mouth. Everything will be covered with dust when you're done. The ride starts by the wharf in a parking structure and you drive through streets to get up to some dirt roads to start the bouncing. The tour ends up on a hill with an amazing vista. Fun...

Great trip. We had lots of fun, and our guide was fantastic. Also, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. A couple of opportunities for improvement: The pick up spot was not clear. We typed the address into maps and it gave us one location, but the location that came up when we clicked the link was different. Panic ensued. We went with the link and it was the right one (whew!). This is the only reason we didn’t give five stars. No swimming. That was actually good because we spent more time on the buggy, but it was a surprise. One more thing: if you’re sensitive to noise, you should consider earplugs. The buggies are LOUD! All in all it was a great adventure though.

The experience was great however when we arrived the shop front was closed with a metal grill over it, none of the phone numbers were answered! Eventually the shop opened around ten minutes after the meeting time, the booking in process seemed to take forever and then we're told to come on this way follow me with no explanations, over a quarter of a mile later we reached an underground parking garrage where we were shown the buggies after this it was fantastic, great view and off-road fun! Make sure you take your driving licence because you will be driving on public roads for some of the trip, well worth the money.

Amazing with all the family to be away in the beautiful mountains for 2hr well worth it.

We had a very good time with speed, dust and spectacular view. Everything as planned. Remember driving license if you are the driver.

This was the perfect amount of "adventure" and allowed us and our two teenage boys to enjoy the area and the sites. The guide was amazing and we had the best time :-)

We had an amazing buggy session, it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The views were absolutely incredible and made the whole adventure even more special. A special mention to Oscar, our instructor, who was extremely friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable throughout the activity. He really made a difference! We also really appreciated the team’s kindness and flexibility. We had a reservation but arrived late, and they were kind enough to reschedule us without any problem. That was truly top service, so a big thank you to the whole team for that! Highly recommended!

The buggy ride was really fun even with rainy weather- our guide was extremely nice, informative and concerned about our safety which we appreciate The experience could have been better if the supplier communicated before the trip and responded on our inquiries the morning of related to the location meeting point- that is not th tour guides fault. We messaged his boss a few times both via Viator and by cell phone- no response. We found the meeting point with the help of the local people this morning who weee gracious to point us in the right direction. The meeting point directions should be updated with photos so travelers know where to go. I’m a luxury travel advisor (I did disclose that to them so I could see if I would recommend this to clients or not). The office person who opened the office was unfriendly and with no response this could have gone very wrong. Luckily they have an amazing tour guide who steals the show from them.

Absolutely shocking service. We had to walk away. Was kept waiting after making a phone call on where to meet. Then made to walk 20mins to get to the buggies. My mother who is elderly nearly collapsed. The guy who escorted us said he ‘didn’t care’. We was furious! Rang Viator to get a refund to be told the vendor has to approve it. Now will probably have to go through my credit card company. Experience has ruined our day, thanks.

Exciting, fun and a bit of dare/scary. But well guided and a laugh guaranteed! Meeting point was a bit difficult to find if you think of buggy’s , but they also do jetski, so the Harbour parking is therefor logical. Great fun & adventures

Jack, our guide was great. He was full of interesting stories, history, and useful information. He kept the speed up when my husband was driving and slowed it down a bit when it was my turn to drive. (We were the only buggy so it wasn't interfering with anyone else) Ask for him when you book I'd love to do another area after a rain so we could get some mud flying

This was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The team was friendly, organized, and made the entire adventure feel safe and fun. The buggies were in great condition and easy to handle, even for beginners. Once we hit the trails, the views were absolutely stunning. We had incredible overlooks of the sea, the mountains, and the reservoir. It felt like a perfect mix of adrenaline and scenery. Our guide, Manuel, was amazing. He worked hard the entire time, kept the energy positive, and made the whole experience even better. Big thanks as well to Maria at the front desk. Our check-in was smooth, welcoming, and very positive. Their office is right in the heart of the boardwalk, which made the start of the tour easy and convenient. If you’re visiting Marbella and want something active, memorable, and a little adventurous, this tour is a must. I would definitely do it again on a future trip.

We booked this one bedroomed apartment for an overnight stay in Aberystwyth mainly for the view across the prom of the seafront. We were not disappointed. We managed to park in the road behind the promenade which allowed 4 hours between 8 and 6pm so could leave the car till 12 the next day. A short walk then round the corner to the apartment and we had received clear instructions to access the key via a code. We were on the first floor - I would not recommend this for anyone with accessibility issues as there were also steps to the bathroom, but for us this was not an issue. The flat was beautifully decorated and fully equipped for self catering . No table to eat at but a kitchen bar and we managed with the small table in the sitting room. The view was amazing and all I could wish for. Comfy chairs in the bay window to watch the world go by and we had a front seat view for the end of the Rali Ceredigion with entertainment as well! Bed linen and towels were perfect as was the shower. Couldn't fault it!

The address for the meet up point is not valid. Even our guide could not find the correct address anywhere on the viator information page. We input the address from our ticket into our GPS and it took us (we learned ) the opposite direction of where we needed to go. The only reason this gets as high a rating as it did was because of our guide Jack. I called him to advise we were going to miss the 10 scheduled tour since we were over an hour away at 9:45, and he arranged a later tour for us in the afternoon. He was also very pleasant and fun.

The buggies were fantastic. We went right up into the hills and along some amazing off-road tracks in the buggies. Our guide was great and told us a lot about the area as well

It was a great experience off roading in the buggy. Great views. Unfortunately we got hit on accident from behind and that changed the tone of the trip near the end. Otherwise it was an interesting experience.

This experience was awesome. A lot of fun driving the buggies anround town and up and down the mountains, along with the breathtaking views. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. Breaks and drinks were provided as well. Highly recommended!

Absolutely horrendous. Do not use. No reservoir. The parking brake on the buggy didn’t work, the guide who barely spoke English had to use a rock to hold it still on a hill…these I can deal with even though not very professional…our guide then broke down in the middle of nowhere…there again I understand these things can happen but instead of someone coming to get us moving again quickly we waiting for around 1 hour in 31 degree heat in the middle of nowhere. They finally arrived and it was a blown fuse on the car, eventually we got moving again, by this point I was very ill from the heat for that amount of time stopped still. We got to the top of a hill, the guide gave us a drink, said nothing else and then when we thought there was nothing more to see asked to go as he just awkwardly stood there…he then just drove us back to the underground car park the buggies are kept in….NO RESEVOIR. So all that for nothing, we then asked for a 50 euro refund for the inconvenience and apparently this wasn’t possible because we booked online which is absolute rubbish. They could have easily got cash out to compensate for the disaster of a trip.

We had so much fun on our buggy tour. We rented 2 buggies. Our daughters are 19 and 22 and they loved driving, while my husband and I got to enjoy the stunning views. It may feel a bit nerve wracking for those with a fear of heights, but the trip never felt dangerous. Our tour guide was fun and told great stories. Drinks and breaks were provided.

It was a great experience that my mother and I wanted to do for a long time. If you are planning to do this buggy trip, prepare to be covered in dust by the roads. A possible 'complaint' that I might have is that the buggies were pretty dirty from earlier trips, but then again, you're offroading so who cares? The guide was friendly and gave plenty of information when we stopped. All in all, it was a fun experience!

My mother and I chose this activity to do something fun outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed! Jack, our guide, was the best!! He was informative on the short sightseeing breaks and was very polite and friendly. He spoke perfect English so that was also a plus. We got to see the towns near Marbella from a completely different viewpoint and it was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Jack!! 10 out 10 experience!!

Great activity. Perfect way to see the area from a different viewpoint. Beautiful scenery and viewpoints, great fun for our older teen in the buggies. Our guide was good fun and interesting.

Fabulous experience, 4 of us girls went on this experience, 2 in each buggy with Jack as our guide, he was fantastic, we drove from the underground garage through the town to the mountains where the experience started, it was really fun zipping around the hills, the views were beautiful and we got scarfs, goggles, jackets abc drinks included, would highly recommend this and do it again, the only downfall was Viator didn’t let us know that we needed to take drivers licenses with us so don’t forget yours or you won’t get to drive

We had a beautiful day to drive up the mountain. Our guide Jack was great! He gave us a brief instructional overview on how to drive the buggy and info on where we were going and safety rules. We have two teenage daughters and one of them was old enough to drive the buggy. We stopped twice on the drive to look out over beautiful views of the area. Jack provided good insight on things to do and places to go. We took the 2 hour ride and it went by very quickly! We had a great time and I highly recommend if looking to do something adventurous with or without kids in the Costa de Sol area.

Jesus was a great guide for us. The trip was a lot of fun and when we got to the top of the mountain, the views are spectacular. The 3pm us had a great time nd the cost is a great value. Thank you Jesus, well done!

I had an amazing time on the buggy tour in Marbella! The whole experience was well-organized, and the guides were professional and friendly, ensuring we felt safe throughout the journey. The buggies were in great condition, easy to drive, and allowed us to explore stunning off-road trails with beautiful scenery. We got to see parts of Marbella that you wouldn't normally visit, which made the adventure even more special. The Buggy was working well but noisy though. The journey was interesting with nice views. The guide was polite and an interesting person.

Booked a 3 seates buggie. When we arrived told that it has been given to someone else. They did offer us a different time but we had things already planned. Ended up taking a 2 seater buggie, with one of us going with the tour guide. Then taking it in turns to swap. Not ideal,

Fun tour with guide/instructor Jack, who led us in a Honda CRV (!) Corvus diesel buggy rather slow and tractor-like, but felt very competent. Beautiful mountain-top views

This was an amazing trip and I highly recommend doing at least the 2 hour trip. Amazing views of Marbella from the mountain tops going through great track roads on the way up there. Jack and Pablo took good care of us. We were travelling there as a family of four (2 boys 15 and 9 years old). I’m not sure who enjoyed it more. The adults or the kids! 😀

Myself and my 10 year old son had a fantastic time with our tour guide Jack. We were the only ones on the tour and went right up into the mountains to see the amazing views of the dam and all down the coastline, and made the most of the fact it had been raining the day before by splashing through the huge puddles! Would definitely recommend if you wanted to see the area from a different angle.

We chose the 2 hour buggy excursion. Our guide, Jack, took us just outside the town and in to the mountain up to a view of the reservoir, stopping twice to admire the views, take photos and enjoy a refreshment (2 soft drinks each were included). There were two to a buggy so myself and daughter (10) in one and my husband and son (14) in the other. Jack led us in the car (for safety, as only two spaces in each buggy) along the carterra and up the off-road mountain path. Jack knowledgeably told us a little about the places we could see at each stop. The buggies were lots of fun. The off-road path felt safe though narrow at times and you still had to be a confident driver and pay attention. It was also very dusty and we were very much in need of a shower by the end. The company provided us with goggles and scarves to cover our nose and mouth. Overall, a great activity which everyone enjoyed. Two hours was there perfect time for us. Would highly recommend.

Was a wicked drive right from port of Marbella up into the hills for great buggy experience. Would recommend 👍🏾
