Puente Romano Marbella

We had an amazing stay at Puente Romano this last week. The staff were very friendly upon check-in and our room was perfect overlooking the well kept gardens and one of the pools. The breakfast was one of the largest selections I’ve ever seen with so much choice across traditional Spanish and global dishes. The selection of luxurious restaurants is second to none with so much choice and a lovely plaza area with live music to have drinks before dinner. Highly recommend!

★★★★★ Some hotel stays are enjoyable, and others become part of your memories. Our stay at Puente Romano was definitely the latter. We came to Marbella with my husband and my parents, hoping to enjoy a few days together, and the hotel turned out to be a wonderful part of the experience. There was something very special about the atmosphere from the beginning: the gardens, the Mediterranean light, the beautiful surroundings and the relaxed elegance of the whole property made us feel as though we had completely stepped away from everyday life. What we appreciated most was how comfortable everyone made us feel. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, particularly with my parents, and there was a lovely sense that they cared about our experience rather than simply providing a service. We spent wonderful moments together enjoying the hotel, having long meals, walking through the gardens and simply taking our time. Those are the moments that stay with you long after you leave. Puente Romano has a rare quality: it feels luxurious without losing its warmth or soul. For us, that made all the difference. We left Marbella with beautiful memories of time spent together as a family, which is ultimately what makes a hotel stay truly special. We would love to come back.

We stayed at Puente Romano for our Christmas holiday, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless. We were even surprised with a room upgrade, and the room was spacious, beautiful, and incredibly comfortable. The level of customer service was exceptional—attentive, warm, and truly some of the best we’ve experienced in Europe. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an incredible variety and something to look forward to every morning. The resort itself feels like a small luxury village, with beautiful pools, a relaxing spa, direct beach access, and so many fantastic restaurants just steps away. We especially loved our evening at COYA, which had amazing food and a vibrant atmosphere, and it was also wonderful to have restaurants like Nobu within the resort. Puente Romano is one of those rare places where you have everything you need in one beautiful location. It made our holiday feel truly special, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Let me start this with saying this is my first time leaving a bad review, as usually, I am very understandable. Very disappointing experience. At $1700 per night per room, the quality felt more like a $100-a-night hotel. The room was in poor condition, the bathrooms had mold, water in the shower would not drain and the overall property felt old and extremely poorly maintained. The swimming pool was dirty, and the beach setup was another huge disappointment, not something I would expect at a five star resort. After seeing the condition of the hotel, we decided to cut our vacation short and leave early.This hotel is nowhere near worth the price.
