A few years ago, travelling for me was all about exploring new places, discovering history, culture, and local life. Accommodation and dining were often secondary considerations. But over the past year, my idea of a perfect holiday has changed. I no longer want to rush from one attraction to another or follow a packed itinerary. Instead, I want to slow down, relax, enjoy good food, and stay somewhere truly comfortable and worth every penny. And this stay in Marbella was exactly what I was looking for! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery, flowers, fruit trees, and little animals, with a lovely private beach area. There are four restaurants within the property, so we never had to worry about where to go or what to eat. 😂 The food was consistently delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed every meal, even though everything was entirely Western cuisine. What impressed me most, however, was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, patient, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. I tend to have breakfast quite late, but they always welcomed me with a smile, never made me feel rushed, and often took the time to have a friendly conversation. One particular experience at the Grill restaurant perfectly captures the level of service here. I absolutely loved the Jamón de Cebo de Campo Ibérico served at breakfast, so I casually mentioned to a staff member that I would love to buy a whole leg to take home to Budapest. To my surprise, just a few minutes later, both the restaurant manager and the head chef personally came to our table to discuss how they could help us purchase it and arrange suitable packaging for our flight! I was genuinely touched by their initiative and willingness to find a solution. Rather than simply saying it wasn’t possible or passing the request to someone else, they took ownership and made a real effort to help. This kind of proactive, thoughtful service is something I haven’t always experienced, even at other five-star hotels. It is these little moments, and the people behind them, that turn a beautiful hotel into a truly memorable experience. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so special. You have given me such lovely memories of Marbella, and I would be delighted to return! ❤️

This is one of those magical places you never forget. I keep going back to do paintings of beautiful spots within their grounds. Gives me so much joy
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at MCH and cannot rate it highly enough. It is a five star hotel in every aspect, from the attentive service, luxurious decor, delicious food, lush green gardens and the best pools in Marbella. It exceeded my expectations and lives up to the hype. I look forward to my return. For anyone considering a visit, go ahead and make a reservation, do it and thank me later.
It was a wonderful stay at the Marbella club hotel. The service was exceptionally welcoming, and we loved the beautiful interior design and atmosphere. We especially appreciated the large number of swimming pools, with separate areas for both adults and children. Every guest can find something comfortable and enjoyable here. The restaurants on the property were excellent, both for lunch and dinner, and the breakfasts were outstanding. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit.
I have visited the Marbella Club many times for lunch and dinner, and the property itself is undeniably beautiful. The gardens, common areas, and overall atmosphere reflect the charm and reputation of this iconic hotel. However, this was my first time actually staying at the hotel, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The rooms are in serious need of renovation. The furniture feels very old and worn, and both the entrance doors and windows are outdated and do not close properly. Soundproofing is extremely poor, you can hear nearly every noise from outside or from nearby rooms, which makes it difficult to rest. There were also hygiene and maintenance issues that were quite surprising for a hotel of this category. We experienced a daily invasion of ants in both the bathroom and the room, which clearly indicates a pest control problem. The gym is fairly average and does not match what one would normally expect from a five-star property. Room service was also very slow; even basic requests took an unusually long time to arrive. Overall, while the setting and the public areas of the Marbella Club remain lovely, the room quality and service level fall far below five-star standards. Based on my stay, I would not recommend booking a room until the hotel undergoes a significant refurbishment. The current room experience feels closer to a three-star hotel than to a property with the Marbella Club’s reputation.
