Fabulous place, hidden gem. We had a lovely stay

Staying at La Almoraima Hotel felt like stepping into a fairytale. The hotel has the charm of a historic castle, surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a truly unique place to stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the breakfast area was lovely, and everything was well organized. Free parking was available and very convenient. One tip for future guests: try to arrive a little earlier so you have enough time to relax and enjoy the beautiful swimming pool before dinner or sunset. It's absolutely worth it. If you're looking for a peaceful, unique, and unforgettable place to stay, this hotel is an excellent choice. We would definitely love to return.

Let me tell you.. if you want to go here for a quite and beautiful environment. This is the place. The rooms are good, the food is good, the breakfast is fresh and diverse. I loved it!

A bit of a mixed review here that speaks of the town as well as the hotel- a bunch of us came for a wedding in the neighbouring hotel. La Almoraima is beautiful, picturesque with its large courtyard, wilderness scenery and traditional Spanish architecture! Our room was incredible, extremely spacious and an insane view! That being said upon arrival we learnt the POOL was out of commission. It was drained and looked like it hadn’t been working in a long time. There was no mention of this on the website or any email. A bunch of us stayed an extra few days to lounge around the pool and nurse our hangovers. When we were leaving families with kids were arriving to learn their weekly pool sun holiday was not grounded. Some staff wasn’t hospitable especially when ordering taxis. Two taxis arrived for 30 people and drove back and forth to the other hotel completely rinsing us as tourists. Charging us €40-€80 for a 4 person car for a 15 minute drive (one way!) On the wedding day a bunch of us decided to drive there so we weren’t late for the ceremony and take the preordered shuttles back. So here we are at 1am waiting for shuttles that never arrived because they were the same taxi drivers who took us the day before. They found out we drove and decided to boycott us because we didn’t give them our business? It was a wild evening after a beautiful day celebrating friends. That being said Breakfast is nice, spacious rooms and lovely scenery.
