Hotel Castillo De Monda

Firstly - lest I forget- my daughter and I had massages by Maria during our stay here. Highly, highly recommend. Maria is very knowledgeable, and thorough, and managed to poke and prod all of my sore spots. My daughter also said Maria was amazing and we both would like to utilize her services again very soon!!! If I could give Maria 6 stars I would. The hotel/castle itself is beautiful. Our room was nice, and spacious (but we somehow did not get any housekeeping while we were there, (2 nights) so the in-room coffee was not replenished. Also I feel for a hotel like this, maybe instant coffee isn’t the way to go in the rooms?) Beds were comfortable, and the food at the hotel was all very good, whether at the bar or the restaurant. The breakfast buffet lacked for nothing in my opinion, it was wonderful. The views from around the hotel/castle are breathtaking. We will be back. The pool area can get crowded. There is not enough seating area around it for all the guests who would like to use it.

We had such a wonderful stay at Castillo de Monda and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The hotel itself is spectacular, surrounded by stunning scenery, but what really made our weekend so special were the people. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Sara and Cristina from the events team, who truly went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time there and felt completely looked after. And Francisco absolutely dazzled us in the restaurant! His knowledge, personality, and wonderful service made our dinner one of the most memorable parts of the weekend. Castillo de Monda is a very special place, made even better by the people who work there. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful surroundings, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable stay.

We had a wonderful room with a huge balcony with a view into the beautiful landscape. The breakfast has everything you could ask for, the restaurant and the bar offer amazing food. You get drinks at the beautiful salt water pool if you ask, so no one bothers you if you dont want anything, which we really appreciated. The whole hotel is beautiful and it just feels special everytime wandering through the castle. The garden with the waterfall running through the stairs is a Paradise. The Team is also very friendly and was always helpful with everything. All in all a great vacation, with nothing amiss.

During our one-week stay at Hotel El Castillo, we enjoyed several meals at the restaurant, and every one was excellent. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and made with great attention to detail. The staff were welcoming and provided fantastic service. The terrace offers amazing views, while the stylish boho interior creates a lovely atmosphere. Perfect for couples, families, friends, or special celebrations, including weddings. A wonderful dining experience that we highly recommend in the area! Hotel is also wonderful with stunning views and extraordinary castle vibes.
