Parador Resort And Spa

We loved our stay at the Parador, I highly recommend booking the tour of the national park through the resort. The team was fabulous, especially Elias, he was a great guide who was so fun and knowledgeable. He really took the time to show our kids everything. The pools and food were great. The kids enjoyed the kids room as well. The breakfast was delicious and there are so many different pools. The wild life on the property is spectacular, sitting on our room balcony watching Macaws fly while drinking our morning coffee, or watching the monkeys play in the afternoons. We will be back!

Heading to Manuel Antonio? You have to stay at Parador Nature Resort! The resort itself is gorgeous, sitting right on the cliffs with the lush rainforest on one side and sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean on the other. The customer service here is top-tier. The staff went way above and beyond every single day to make sure we were taken care of. Everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. It was also very kid friendly, but still enjoyable to adults. Perfect balance. Honestly, we saw way more wildlife right on the resort grounds than we did at the national park. Also, way less crowded and relaxing. We saw multiple sloths and monkeys. We also saw a pair of toucans, macaws, and some amazing sunsets. The views from the main pool with the swim up bar are unreal. Starting the day with breakfast while staring out over the ocean set a great tone for the rest of the day and we couldn't have asked for a better stay! We're American and we also loved the international feel. We rarely go back to the same place, but for Parador we are making an exception, because it can not be beat!

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here, and what a great decision it was. The property is absolutely beautiful, with so many places to relax, whether you're looking for a lively atmosphere or somewhere peaceful and quiet. One of the coolest parts of staying here was the wildlife. You will 100% see animals around the resort. We saw sloths, monkeys, toucans, macaws, and lizards throughout our stay, which made it feel really unique. The service was incredible. Housekeeping checked in twice a day to freshen up the room, and every staff member we interacted with—from the bellhops to the bartenders and servers—was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care. Some of the best service I've experienced. The food was great too, whether it was dinner at the main restaurant or lunch at one of the two poolside spots. I'd also recommend checking out Miamar, their sister property. It's a beautiful spot with really good food and is definitely worth the visit. Thanks to everyone for making our honeymoon so memorable. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this resort.

A little bit of a delayed review because we’ve been so busy, but I could not recommend this resort enough! We came here for our honeymoon after a stay at Gaia that had unfortunately been a bit underwhelming and a disappointing way to end such a special trip. Luckily, I had accidentally miscalculated how many nights we needed before flying home, leaving us with one extra night to book. Based on the glowing reviews and recommendations online, we chose Parador, and I am so glad we did. Even though we only stayed for one night, this hotel ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon. Hotels have a unique opportunity to create lifelong customers during milestone trips like honeymoons, and Parador absolutely did that for us. When booking through Expedia, I noted that we were celebrating our honeymoon. Since we were trying to stay within budget, we booked one of the standard rooms and assumed that would be our experience. While we were relaxing by the pool waiting for our room to be ready, we were informed that we had been upgraded to an incredible ocean-view suite. It was truly breathtaking. As if that wasn’t enough, when we arrived in our room, we found chocolate-covered strawberries and a thoughtful note wishing us a happy honeymoon. Later that evening, when we returned from dinner, there was a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us, complete with glasses and another handwritten note from the staff congratulating us on our honeymoon. Combined with the stunning views, delicious food, beautiful grounds, and genuinely kind staff, it created an unforgettable experience for us. We would return again and again and would wholeheartedly recommend Parador to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio. If you’re looking for a luxury resort that truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel special, this is absolutely it.
