The guide helped make the entire visit a success. Conducted the tour but also assisted us in finding other resources to complete our exploration of Manaus.

Itinerary
At the Adolpho Lisbon Municipal Market, you will find a wide variety of typical and regional dishes, besides crafts and a lot of history present in its beautiful structure in the style of art nouveau. Tip: The morning is the best time to visit, as it is when you find fresh fruit, fish and vegetables.
Attention – Visiting Hours of the Amazonas Theater On September 15th from 9 am to 12:00 AM for visitation and on September 23, 24, and 25, 2026, the internal visitation will only take place from 9 am to 11:30 am, due to performances taking place at the venue. We will visit the Amazonas Theater and Largo de São Sebastião, two of Manaus's most important postcards. At this point of the tour, you will have time to walk peacefully, appreciate the historical architecture, visit the charming Church of São Sebastião, and take beautiful photos in one of the city's most iconic settings. The Amazonas Theatre, a symbol of the rubber era, impresses with its beauty and richness of detail, being one of the most important monuments in Brazil. ⚠️ Note: On Mondays, the theater is not open for internal visits due to maintenance, only external visits are available.
We will meet the Jefferson Park, a public space that honors an important politician who contributed to the development of Manaus. In ancient times, the area was occupied by palaphite houses, without adequate infrastructure and with precarious living conditions. With the PROSAMIM project, the families were relocated to decent homes, and the venue was transformed into an urban park. Today, the park is a pleasant space for leisure, hiking and cohabitation, frequented by families and visitors.
At this point, we will make a guided walk through the traditional Banana Fair, passing through the fruits, fish and vegetables sectors, where it is possible to experience the daily life of local merchants and to know the diversity of regional products. Next we will visit the Adolpho Lisbon Municipal Market, focusing on the craft area, where you will find typical pieces of the Amazon and you will be able to learn more about the local culture. The tour is approximately 45 days long, providing an authentic experience, rich in flavors, colors and traditions of the region.
The Rio Negro Palace was originally the residence of an important colonel during the rubber cycle, a period that marked the height of Manaus' wealth and development. With its imposing architecture and rich in detail, the venue preserves the history and elegance of that time. Today, the palace is one of the main historical points of the city, allowing visitors to learn more about the culture, politics and the distinctive past of the Amazon region. ⚡️ Attention: on Tuesdays, the site does not open for internal visitation due to maintenance, and only a panoramic (external) visit is carried out.
At this point in our itinerary, we will make a stop to visit the historic region of Manaus. We will visit the building where the City Museum is located externally, appreciating its architecture and importance to the municipality's history. We will also learn about the history of the old Indigenous Cemetery, which is now called Dom Pedro II Square, and take a 7-minute walk to see the architecture of some old houses in the rubber gold age. Next, we will see the old buildings and mansions that preserve characteristics of the Rubber Cycle period, a time of great economic development and urban transformation in Manaus. We will also have contact with elements that represent the history, culture, and identity of the city, including the tropics and historical spaces of the region. A special opportunity to learn a little more about the history of Manaus and understand how the rubber period contributed to the formation of the city we know today.
Largo de São Sebastião, in the heart of Manaus, is one of the most charming places in the city. Surrounded by historical architecture, culture, and the magnificent Amazonas Theater, it is a must-see tour to know the history and beauty of Manaus.

Excellent guide, easy going and informative. Driver was always ready right where we needed him. We saw the most important highlights.
The tour was excellent. Our guide, Tariq, was well informed, well spoken and open to our questions and requests. It was a delightful and memorable time.
We had a wonderful time! Our guide explained not only the sites, but answered all of our questions with charm and patience.
It was exactly as advertised. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the city and gave us time to look around. A good way to spend an afternoon in Manaus.
Very easy to book and communicate. The car felt very high class with leather seats and air conditioning. Easy pick up and drop off right at the door. Prepared for weather conditions, walking us with umbrella or stopping right in front of the attraction. Felt very private just for us 2. The guide was very knowledgeable and very informative, speaking English very well and not rushing us at any point or situation, felt more like talking to a friend. We even got fruits and souvenirs delivered back with us to our stay. We were very happy to have booked this tour, it was definitely worth the price. The tour felt way longer then the actual time spent. Highly recommended.
Excellent pre tour communication. Arrived early at the meeting point. Excellent spoken English, very informative. Excellent tour.
Very fun tour of the historic center of the city. Excellent value for the money. Our tour guide named Tariq was very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and told us many important details about the city of Manaus. Our driver named Judson was very skillful and was courteous. I will highly recommend to my friends and family back home. I hope to tour the city of Manaus with them again someday! Edward
City tour of Manaus was very good. Our guide Tarique explained the history of the city in details and showed each place thoroughly. We wouldn’t visit the big Fruit market and fish market in Manaus if we didn’t take this tour. Our guide also gave good recommendations about restaurants.
Tariq and Judson did an amazing job in showing us the main tourist attractions in Manaus. The most impressive part, apart from their friendly and welcoming nature, was their extensive knowledge and understanding of the history, culture and natural environment of Manaus and the greater Amazon. We would probably not have thought to go to some of the places they took us (such as the “banana market”) however they turned out to be the most impressive and most immersive experiences of the local life and culture of the region. We like it so much that we had them guiding us in a visit to the Botanical Gardens (MUSA). Highly recommend their service!!!
Excellent communication throughout, Victor arranged pick up from the port which was easy and well organised. Our driver Judson was professional and our guide Bibi was extremely knowledgeable about all things Manaus! I would highly recommend this tour and give it 5*’s
Tour guide Tariq and driver Judson were exceptional. Comfortable vehicle with good air conditioning and courteous and professional staff, I couldn't recommend this private tour of Manaus highly enough.
Tariq was very knowledgeable and was fluent in English. We went through the markets and the theater. Explanations were very interesting. Descriptions of what we were seeing as we drove we good.
It was a standard city tour of Manaus, but what made it exceptional was our guide, Kemel C. He was fantastic and made the day a wonderful experience.
Great Private tour through Manaus. No queuing, very knowledged guide with great Englisch Language skills giving us the condensed executive style tour with the best of Manaus, great seperate private driver included. The car war nice, spacey new and clean👍🏼
Great introduction to Manaus. The tour of the market was a lot of fun and very informative, especially about the fruit and fish. Seeing the theatre and the Palacio Rio Negro was much better because of the knowledgeable guide. There was a driver so we didn’t have to walk or wait much. See photo that showed 30 eggs for R$24, about US$6.00.
We were met in the terminal just after getting off the ship. It was hot but the car we were in was air conditioned. Knowledgeable tour guide. Visited the markets and Opera House. Much better way to do this than in a large tour. Dropped off at terminal door.
Our local guide Terrilcke was incredible . He was knowledgeable and articulate. And lots of fun. Our driver was great. I don’t think our visit to Manaus could have been in better hands.
Very informative and was an excellent way to start our Amazon adventure. Our driver was also excellent!
The guide’s knowledge of Manaus was fantastic!. The Opera House was so beautiful. We enjoyed the big market.
Enjoyed touring the city and seeing the area. Great to learn about the sites, city and culture. Guide and driver were fantastic! Highly recommend.
We had a great tour guide and driver, very thoughtful and through. We visited the markets, Concert Hall and old port and general tour around Manaus
This was an excellent tour - and very professionally organised. After a punctual hotel pick up our guide Tariq, and driver Judson took us to the modern (and spectacular) fruit and vegetable and fish markets, followed by the “original” market, designed by Gustave Eiffel. We crossed the road to view the Rio Negro, the last of the old houses on stilts and the busy port area, packed with wooden Amazon river boats. After a leisurely tour of the cool and airy Palace Rio Negro (a carefully restored 19th century mansion). We were driven to the famous Manaus Opera House, Teatro Amazonas, where Tariq guided us past large groups of waiting tourists and spirited us into the auditorium. This exceeded our expectations and was the highlight of the morning. We had as much time as we wanted to explore and photograph the historic building, inside and out. Finally, after a couple more stops and walks in the historic downtown we were driven back to our hotel. Tariq is a knowledgeable and insightful guide - with a friendly and charming character. We totally recommend this tour!
Tariq was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history of Manaus! He also gave us tips where to go for dinner. The trip was smooth and he went with our pace since this is a private tour. He also answered all our questions regarding culture in Brazil. The opera house was the highlight of this tour.
Excellent tour of Manaus. Tariq was very knowledgeable about the history of Manaus and also very personable. His English was great. It was very comfortable driving around to the different sites and then getting out and walking. Entrance fees to the various places that we went were covered as well. We did this tour our first full day so we could get the lay of the land and it was perfect!
Tariq was an amazing guide - very personable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. He was very well informed about the history of Manaus and gave us ample time to see what was included on the trip and described other sights as we drove from place to place. He even accommodated us by dropping us off at the mall at the end of our tour instead of taking us back to our hotel. Thank you!
We were hosted by the driver Judson and Tariq a guide. They show is nice manaus and made all transfer airport-hotel-porto-airport. We got an excellent service all days
Great tour, saw so much and got fabulous insight from Tariq on the history and culture of Manaus. Thoroughly recommended!
We booked with TransferVictor and LOVED our tour guide Kemel and his driver. Kemel’s english is excellent and he was able to devote all of his time to sharing his in-depth knowledge of Manaus both in the car and while we were walking through the city. While we were driving Kemel continued to give us his undivided attention because the driver was focused on getting us from points in between while Kemel explained the history past and present of this amazing city. Kemel grew up in and around Manaus and has a gift for teaching and sharing. His sense of humor is a delight
A very comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and attentive to our requests. Very good car, also. I highly recommend this tour.
This company is excellent!! We took 2 separate transfers and tours. Judson and Kemel picked us up from the cruise terminal, we had just completed a Viking cruise, and then took us on the Historical city tour and lunch before transferring us to the Iberostar boat later in the day. Then 7 days later, Judson and Tiago picked us up from the Iberostar boat, we went to the Musa park then lunch and to the airport. We communicated with Victor thru Whatsapp, and he was very prompt in answering any questions we had. I have to say that all communication was excellent, all 3 employees were wonderful and made us feel at home in the city of Manaus. Highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful customized city tour. Kemel & Judson did a wonderful job and they made our vacation just so much more enjoyable being able to see the city of Manaus through the eyes of the local people. Kemel’s English is easily understood and we experienced everything we had hoped to and more.
Excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable, candid and patient. Driver was super. (I cannot add anything to my comment.)
Excellent people . The guide and his team were kind, knew their subject, were accommodating to our needs ( my friend had a broken leg) . Informative . A+
We booked this tour on Manaus a couple of days before arriving via cruise ship. I was tired of tours from the ship, which seemed like just bus rides through cities. I was looking for a tour that would actually show us some points of interest and tell us about the city. This tour was exactly what we wanted. Our guide (Kemel) and driver (Judson) were waiting in the terminal when we arrived. They had a clean new vehicle with plenty of room and very good AC (which was very important!). Kemel was an excellent guide. We visited the markets, Palacio Rio Negro, the City Museum, Ponta Negro Beach, and drove over the Rio Negro Bridge (we had visited the Opera House previously so we skipped that stop). He took us through each attraction and explained what we were seeing and also talked about life in Manaus and how it has changed over time. He's obviously very proud of his city and enjoys sharing it with visitors. His English was very good. Judson alway had the car nearby when we were ready to move on. Communications back and forth with Transfer Victor Tours was very easy. They were very responsive to questions. We highly recommend this tour and Kemel/Judson.
Kamel and Judson are great tour guides! They definitely went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time. I high recommend booking a tour with them.
I would not hesitate to recommend Transfer Victor Tours. They picked us up at the port(two couples) and we did a private city tour with Kemel, our guide, and Victor, our driver. After an excellent tour of the city, they took us to our hotel. The next morning, they provided transportation to the airport. Kemel spoke fluent english and they were very punctual and very reasonably priced.
Our guide was Kemel and Judson the driver. They were excellent. Kemel was enthusiastic and keen to share information about his city, we really enjoyed his company. Judson was great at finding spots to park, we hardly had to walk at all!. Water was always available and we were really well looked after. The city is more interesting than I expected. We booked last minute as we were only there for a day and not sure whether to just rest. In the end we thought we really should try and see the city and are glad we did.
Kimel was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and speaks English very well. He shares the culture and history of Manaus in a superb manner. Victor was an excellent driver. Both were very courteous.
Great guide and driver. Guide - Tarig - spoke very good English and was knowledgeable and friendy. A great intro to the city.
The private city tour was amazing! Our guides were professional and made our day so fun! We learned so much about the city and got to see some amazing places. I highly recommend.
I want to record that our private historical City-tour was the best thing we did when we arrived in the city of Manaus, I want to highlight Guide Daniel who was very friendly and with a lot of knowledge explained to us all the history of Manaus and its historical buildings, we cannot not to mention the very friendly and cordial driver Judson, I recommend Transfer Victor Tours.
Daniel seemed like a nice person. Our driver was very good But Daniel was not an experienced guide He did not speak English well We did not feel we learned as much as we have from other guides in the past Overall we were disappointed
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the sights, and was very accommodating to our needs. I recommend the tour to facilitate entry into various areas and navigating the city. Also, they were kind enough to stop at a store to get electrical outlet adapters and by a pharmacy. This was above and beyond service!!
Had a great tour of various locations in the centre of Manaus. The guide was very good and spoke good English. It was very interesting seeing the market and the inside of the opera house. We felt safe during the tour and got a great overall view of Manuas and some of its key site. Highly recommended.
Guide Juilio was excellent. Enjoyed all places visited but tour could be improved by asking if interested in shopping. The tourist stop to see souvenirs was not necessary. Driver very good as well.
The guide! Julio was wonderful, as was our driver. Knowledgeable, accommodating, prompt, friendly. Well paced, and a most enjoyable tour. We were so glad we were able to see Manaus with them
5 plus stars, Service was outstanding. Went out of their way. Cruise ship had no information on how to proceed after leaving us on the dock and the internet was terrible. Luckily Victor Tours was available on Whatsapp and gave us exact details on what to. They got us to our hotel with zero issues. (Get Whatsapp if you don't have it downloaded - also get a CLARO SIM card). We are here for 5 days total with three full days of tours. If possible, this is a good idea as there is so much to see. The guides were excellent and also gave us good suggestions on places to eat. If you arrive at the airport, hopefully there will be an ATM that works as we have not seen any in the city. Victor Tranfer can assist in exchanging currency at DHL/WESTERN UNION. Most restaurants take VISA. I don't recommend being here August to November as it may be VERY HOT. January works well if you don't mind a little rain. The river gets very high by June/July.
We saw the whole city Our guide was excellent Also the driver was great. Every part of the city was covered and a run across the bridge over the Amazon
Our guide Julius was very good and gave us a great tour of the museum, Opera House, and Palace. All very interesting and well worth the visit. We opted to skip the shopping at the market but it was also part of the tour.
