It was a well organized trip. Food was decent. Accommodation not as much. The staff provided excellent service. They can do a better job cleaning the bathroom in the rooms. It is the rain forest, so lots of rain. Water was coming in to the room from underneath the door.

This trip is worth like half of price. There were no piranha on piranha fishing activity, no crocodiles on the evening and very boring jungle hike with no animals. Eduardo is probably only one well English speaker in this company but you will meet him only on island where you stay during accommodation time. On activities there are people who have bad or don’t speak English. There were also a lot o free time if you did’t pay for extra activities. Now we have feeling that we had better jungle experience during trekking on Jesus in Rio or Sugar loaf. All than all Rio Negro and rain forest are beautiful, food is good and accommodation is ok
Professiona team and well organized. Spent 2 days in he jungle and had a full taste of it. Program is filled with great experiences and pzople were knowledgeable and helpful!
I am solo traveler by nature. This trip was amazing!! Eddie, the red head guide was awesome, very nice and knowledgeable, his English is pretty good and did every thing to make sure I was ok and happy. Every thing was well Planned coordinated and implemented The lodge was VERY VERY NICE, wish my stay had been longer…the staff there were also super nice…
It’s hard to say one thing, I enjoyed everything. Only one regret - sadly, that I booked only one day :(
"If you don't have a lot of time to visit the Amazon this is an amazing tour that includes fishing for Piranhas, Kayman alligator spotting (you might get to hold one as we did), and Jungle hiking. We were able to add swimming with dolphins for not much more and purchase gifts from the indigenous tribe. The tour guide was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. He was able to spot a sloth for us and he will educate you on different plant species and medicinal uses. We loved the comfort of the lodge and found that the high water season was extremely beautiful. This is a fun and well rounded Amazon experience."
Having read the description of the tour and the high price paid we were quite excited to live an amazing experience as in other lodges we had been to. The English speaking driver Celio was very nice and helpful (5 star), The guide was good too, trying his best within his limits (4 stars), The 2 hours boat ride on the wonderful Rio Negro river was appreciated, specially the calm mirror looking water with the reflections of the tall trees. We also liked the meeting with the indigenous people. However, the lodge was the worst we have ever been to, specially at the price charged, The room and bathroom were disgusting and the bedsheets/pillows were dirty, it seemed that these had not been changed for a while. The food was the same at each meal and tasteless. No hygiene. A lodge could be quite simple but clean, hygienic and attractive. Alligators were 2 baby ones near the lodge and hardly visible while fishing was another scam. Apparently it rains most of the time so the probability of watching the sunrise is very low. As for the price Viator should visit the places to ensure that they up to a certain minimum standard. We guess that the owner of the lodge was charging a reasonable price but Viator's local travel agent was exaggerating, for example for aircon in the room we were asked us $100 pp per night, i.e $200 per room per night( have it in writing) while on sight the charge by the sympathetic owner was $30 per room per night which was appropriate!! It's not the lodge owner who is responsible as he may certainly have a price which matches the standard level of his lodge. The same price for that tour with another higher standard lodge or a lower price for the same lodge could be justified. Sooo glad we did not spend more than a night there.
Pros: Different from your typical tours, Fabio our English tour guy was great and always went out of reach to make our experience more enjoyable. Cons the two day tour doesn't give you the option to buy ac.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cabins were smelly and the food was the same both days, fried fish , rice and beans and fruit. The pool was green when we arrived but after 4 lbs of chlorine you could see the bottom by the next morning. With a little more organization and capital it could get 4 -5 stars easily but the effort wasn't there. If it was for the great guide and everyone's hospitality I would not recommend it.

I've been with my husband in Manaus and we did 2 tours through the agency. The first was a day trip to swim with dolphins, see the encounter of the waters and meet an indigenous tribe. Everything was very well organized. The second ride was to sleep one night in the jungle. The guide was very knowledgeable, the people were very welcoming. Leonardo was always very attentive in whatsapp and gave us a lot of security. It is an investment that is well worth it. It was one of the best experiences of our lives!
I had an amazing time on my trip with Amazing Tours and would definitely recommend the company. Fabio, our guide, speaks perfect english, is very knowledgable, and has lots of wonderful stories to tell. The lodge I stayed in is beautiful and peaceful. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe the whole time and thoroughly enjoyed myself! The only other advise I have is to bring your own small fan if possible, the one in my room was broken and it was incredibly hot at night!

I had a great experience with this tour. Fabio, the guide, was amazing. Everything was smooth and on time.
The only improvements could be the cleanliness of the hotel and the final speed boat transfer to hotel drop off. The final guide tried to leave immediately without helping me find my ride.

it is definitely an experience you have to have once in a lifetime, to get to know the AMAZON up close, and with this tour you can experience this great jungle, its rivers, its people, its food in a short time, in short it is a very well organized tour and everything very on time, EDUARDO the logistics coordinator speaks Spanish and English very well, it was supposed to be all in Spanish, but the guides who accompanied us did not speak it, anyway they were very good and helpful. as a recommendation it is only to clarify that the electricity in the resort is only from 6 pm to 6 am. I consider that they can greatly improve the boats in which they transport you to the activities, make them more comfortable, perhaps a little larger and with backrests and cushioned seats. the pool at the hotel is very convenient to cool off after going on tours through the jungle with a lot of heat and humidity, it is a good plus of the resort. we enjoyed this experience a lot and we definitely recommend it.
It was an incredible experience, we couldn't sleep in the jungle because the day we went there was not this tour on the program and we were informed that there would be night in the jungle every day by the agency, this would be a point to improve. But only the experience of the tour was worth it. All I have to do is thank the ipanema lodge for the education, reception and the indescribable tours of so beautiful. And also thank the responsible agency for removing questions and responding quickly.
A beautiful landscape, first-class cuisine, super fun guides, lots of safety and rich culture.
2 days and one night booked. Great, eventful arrival. Various Things to do and nice people to meet. Guide was great. Food was also included Soon I would even book 2 nights, since you then also have the possibility (besides one night in the pousada) to sleep in the jungle in the hammock.
If you want a real adventure, this is your tour, if you expect a fully prepared tour this is NOT your tour. I tell of our experience. We were a group of 6 people: You are taken by boat two guides from the bungalows area to the jungle, about 30 min journey and one of them turns with the boat and stays in return the next day to an hour to the same site. A guide stays with the group, when we went I did not know that an area of the jungle was completely flooded 200m ahead and we could not continue, he had to run back to warn the guide of the boat to take us to the other area bordering the river. After leaving us on the other side we walked for half an hour through the jungle and in a completely unspoilt place decided to camp. He set up a big tarp in a small tree space saying it was just for backpacks and we set up hammocks around it. Surprise us when we found out we'd sleep without a tarpaulin on it in case it rained... It's time for dinner. The guide brought a chicken to roast. He told us to get dry sticks to make the bonfire. Mission impossible, everything was wet. He didn't have any ignition pills, burning alcohol or dry firewood, just a handful of candles. After an hour trying to light the light with wet wood it was decided to desist and our dinner became a small banana per person and a muffin. There was a lot of night ahead of us and after chatting we went into the hammocks to sleep. We managed to sleep just 3h before at 2:45 a.m. a bluster woke us up and forced us to stand at 7 under the tarpaulin he had put up for the material. We spent the next 41⁄2 hours under the tarp while the guide went to sleep in his hammock in the rain. At 7 am he woke up and we went for a walk in the jungle until 7.40. Afterwards we collected everything and returned to the starting point where we waited for the return of the boat at 11.30am as agreed the previous day, as there is no coverage and no walkies to communicate. Nothing happened to any of us, but if we'd been stung by something and put bad... What would be the procedure? Wait until 11.30 for the partner to come to get us out of there... Total adventure...
We took the 1 night walk in the jungle, we were at the Ipanema Lodge. We did the fishing of the piranhas in the river Paraná do Mamori, it was cool. We saw a giant tree standing on the banks of the river TBM. More at the end of the day We made the focus of Jacaré, appears their little eyes shining, hehe. Then we went to the jungle, the staff had already made the tents, I was super nice, the guides James, Jamaica and João are too. We dined in the jungle and slept in net, it's different. At night we hear the noise of the jungle, monkeys and other animals, it's amazing. In the morning the guides made breakfast, eggs and bread and coffee, then we went to the trail, well, we saw spiders and monkeys, the question of seeing more or less bixos depends on the day. Then we return to the guest house the boat ride, it is very mass. We have lunch and we return to Manaus!
Great accommodation, simple and welcoming, guide miles was the best on the tour! Dear and dedicated! There is fried and hugged in laziness!
Beautiful excursion in the jungle, in contact with the natives, canoe rides, thank you to our Francophone guide who was very helpful. Warning: tropical fruits were not included in the meal contrary to what was written. in addition not given for half a cup of crushed ice (15 reais for 4 reais for a beer)
The tour was really good and can only recommend it. The only thing missing was that somehow we didn't see any piranhas. The lodga was also quite nice! The Fabio, our guide, was really a great guy and always listened to us and had told us a lot! Can only recommend it!
