Manaus Hoteis - Millennium

A bit far from downtown, but easy access to the main attractions of Manaus. There is a small shopping mall, you can access trough the mall parking area, which is all covered, no problem if it is raining outside. The breakfast is good, and you can have fresh local fruits everyday. They also provide local fruit juices. The pool is located in the highest floor, where you can have a scenic view from Manaus and the sunshine and the sunset. The staff is really helpful, but few of them speak English.

Located next to a small shopping mall. Spacious rooms but not well laid out. Bathroom does not have proper ventilation. Maintenence not up to the mark. Had a problem with the sink drainage which was not resolved in spite of complaint. Corridors are not air-conditioned. Room service is poor - coffee ordered at 5.45 am came at 7 am that too after a reminder. Breakfast spread is limited variety - very little for vegetarians, except fruits, bread and cheese. Replenishment of items such as fruit salad not done for very long, adding to the problem.

No coffee ,No tea ,No toiletries in the room . Asked for coffee in the morning .Not available until 7 am . Asked for Hand Sanitizer .Not provided. We were advised to go and wash our hands in the toilet. On the positive note ,helped us to arrange the River cruise on Amazon.

This reminds me of a business hotel. Rooms are dated, you can tell by the lack of charging outlets. No coffee kettle. Breakfast is mediocre. I had a nice view for my 18th floor balcony, and there is a pool on the roof which is good. You can't walk to much. There's a Patio grocery store within walking distance though.
