Itinerary
We’ll begin our tour at 9 AM at the e magnificent ‘Masjid al-Fatih’ or the Al Fateh Grand Mosque to gain a deeper insight into the Arabic culture and admire the beautiful Kulic calligraphy and fiberglass dome that ornaments the biggest mosque in the world. (photo stop on Fridays)
Next, we’ll continue our quest by making our way towards the Bahrain National Museum and immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of Bahrain, which accounts for more than 6000 years. (closed on Tuesdays)
A 10-minute drive west of Manama, on an ancient tell (mound created by centuries of urban rebuilding), the majestic Bahrain Fort stares out across the Gulf. Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, it is part of the Unesco World Heritage site believed to have been the capital of the ancient Dilmun Empire. As you wander the atmospheric excavations of residential, commercial, public, military and religious buildings, contemplate this: humans have continuously inhabited this site since 2300 BC. (closed on Mondays)
Since you most certainly will be hungry, we’ll stop for a delicious lunch after we set our eyes on the Bab Al Bahrain to appreciate the historic architecture (lunch not included). (photo stop on Fridays)
Full of energy we’ll head off to the Bahrain International Circuit, where we will visit the souvenir shop & have an over look at the track, where the thrill and excitement will take over. We guarantee your heart will start racing!
All pumped up, we’ll head to Sakhir where we’ll say hello to the desert’s best friend – the camel –at the Camel Farm which houses the royal camels and falcons ( falcons during winter months only).
After greeting the friendly camels, we’ll move on to discover recent history at the 1st Oil Well.
You’ll have a chance to take in all the wonders you saw and recollect at the Tree of life. The Tree of Life or Shajarat-al-Hayat, as it is called in the local language, is a mesquite lonely tree that stands in the heart of Bahrain’s desert for over 400 years.
Next stop the Dilmun Burial Mounds. There are more than 100,000 Dilmun-era burial mounds scattered across Bahrain, but none come close to the magnificence of the royal mounds in the historic village of A'Ali. That this was an important place in antiquity is evident from the 17 royal mounds constructed nearly 4000 years ago.
Our tour will end with a stop for a well-deserved glimpse at traditional pottery crafts at A’Ali Pottery.

Angela does a wonderful job. Full of information and friendly enthusiasm.
Wonderful day tour. Our tour guide are excellent and thoughtful. Must join this tour in Brahrain. It is good choice to see most tourist spots in Bahrain. The tour driver come ro pick up at my hotel. The tour are well planned.
Our tour guide Ravinder Was great! What a great tour of Bahrain. I really enjoyed the camel farm and the Grand mosque. I highly recommend this tour.
Bahrain is a small island and this trip takes in most of what is to see of its long history. The neighbouring island and town of Maharraq is also worth a visit.
It’s a great way to see the whole island. Not much to see in Bahrain so a great and efficient way to travel. Our group was only 4 people. The souk is not like traditional souks in the Middle East , just shops with the usual characters making a “special price” for you. Driver and guide excellent with communication on pick up.
the tour was great and we managed to cover all the important sites of bahrain! angela was a great tour guide and mahmood was a great driver! would recommend
If you want an authentic Bahrain experience that’s fun, seamless, and truly special, Nabi is your guy! He is accommodating, HILARIOUS and kept us entertained literally all day. Transportation was amazing and super comfortable - a large spotless van, Wi-Fi, juice, water… fully taken care of from start to finish. The three of us solo travelers had a wonderful day seeing Bahrainian's sights while listening to Nabi's story telling. The group got along seamlessly and it was hugely because of Nabi's energy. When I casually mentioned that I really wanted to see the process of pearl searching in person, Nabi immediately made it happen. He arranged a tour for the very next day, picked me up himself, and I got to spend even more time with him learning, laughing, and exploring. Later, I heard that Nabi is actually a famous Bahraini tour guide, and honestly — once I learned that, everything made sense. His knowledge, connections, energy, and effortless way of making the experience unforgettable are on another level. This tour with Nabi is a must!
A great way to see loads of Bahrain! Our guide Nabi was knowledgeable, hilarious and thoughtful ! He was very passionate about his country and loved sharing it with us.
Great tour to cover everything Bahrain. Our tour guide Ravinder shared lot of information about each place as well as the country in general. Would definitely recommend for everyone.
It was great! Our tour guide Angela made it a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a wealth of information. She paid attention to everyone’s needs and comfort and got us to lunch at a great restaurant with the most delicious meal of our time here and yet the least expensive. We were on time all through the tour and I loved her. I will recommend the tour, which gave us great insight into a lot of the culture and history in Bahrain. Wonderful tour!
Angela, our tour guide, was informative, helpful, lively, and fun! She is a true asset and a terrific tour leader! Highlights were the camel farm and the F1 racetrack!
It was our first time in Bahrain. Tour guide Ravinder and driver Mahmood was excellent in the knowledge of the city and the roads. Ravinder gave us a lot of insides about the city and its history and culture. Definitely a place I will come back to again. Highly recommended!!!
This was a great tour and fantastic insight into the life and culture of Bahrain. I enjoyed it thoroughly and recommend it to anyone visiting Bahrain. Many thanks to the tour guide Ravinder Kaur and driver Mahmood, as well as the wonderful group that accompanied us!
At 73, Angela is still going about sharing the stories of Bahrain and its history. Amazed by this brilliant lady that adores her work! Bringing chocolates, dates and water for us, we were well taken care of by her! So knowledgeable about Bahrain and I love her passion for this country!
This tour was a complete waste of time and money. The tour guide was disengaged, distracted, and clearly dealing with personal matters on two phones the entire time. Zero energy, zero enthusiasm, and almost zero information. Instead of actually guiding, explaining, or bringing the places to life, we were basically told: “Hop off, read the sign yourselves, take a photo, and let’s go.” If I wanted a self-guided tour, I wouldn’t have paid for this. Most of the tour was spent sitting on the bus driving around to pick up guests from different hotels. It felt like a shuttle service, not a curated experience. By the time we reached any attraction, it was rushed and poorly explained. To make matters worse, one of the key attractions—the oil museum—is permanently closed, according to the tour guide herself. Yet it’s still advertised on the website. That’s misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Overall, this tour lacked professionalism, organization, accurate information, and basic respect for guests’ time. There was absolutely no value added by the guide, and the experience felt sloppy and careless from start to finish. Save your money and do literally anything else.
I booked this tour to see the attractions of Bahrain. Our tour guide was Ravinder and she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She explained the facts about each of the sites and answered any questions the group had. There was a good amount of time available at each of the stops. The group were continually offered soft drinks and Ravinder ensured we were all comfortable on the tour. This tour, I think, is especially good for solo travellers who are unsure of where to go in Bahrain as it takes the trouble out of looking for things to see.
It is an ok tour. Everything rushed and you set get to enjoy things as much. There were road closures that the driver was not aware of so we wasted a lot of time trying to find the way to where we needed to go. This should have been foreseen.
Very complete tour of Bahrain covering everything. The guide was also excellent and patient !! She was also very lnowledgeable !!
This tour wasn’t professional. They picked me up late. I understand there was traffic, but if you are professional, you should anticipate traffic. The driver was on his first day after training, and he didn’t know the route or the schedule well. He kept asking the guide for directions. He should have used navigation and been more aware of the appropriate speed and pace to drive.
Angela was very informative and double checked throughout the day that we were all happy and understanding . She was also able to keep the tour on time even though other travellers didn’t keep to the time limits. It was a long day but definitely worthwhile when you don’t have a lot of time in Bahrain.
nice tour, great guide with a lot of experience, but a little bit to expensive for a group tour in case of the most attractions had no entry fee.
We had a very good full-day tour of Bahrain that gave us an excellent introduction to the country’s history and culture. Our guide was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, offering rich context about Bahrain’s heritage and Islamic traditions throughout the day. The Al-Fateh Grand Mosque and the Bahrain National Museum were definite highlights. The van was comfortable and the driver was professional, which made the journey pleasant overall. Unfortunately, the tour suffered from some poor time management. We spent over an hour in the morning picking up participants from different hotels, which delayed the start of the sightseeing. Too much time was allocated to lunch and shopping at Bab el-Bahrain Souk, where some guests lingered in shops while others waited outside. Because of these delays, we reached the Tree of Life after sunset, and the Dilmun Burial Mounds were only seen briefly from the motorway. We also missed the Royal Camel Farm and the A’ali Pottery Workshop, which were part of the planned itinerary. The Bahrain International Circuit stop could probably be skipped in favour of spending more time at the historical and cultural sites. Overall, this was a warm, insightful, and enjoyable experience thanks to our excellent guide, but the itinerary would benefit greatly from better pacing and time management.
This is a great introduction to Bahrain. The museum is very good. The tour covers a lot of ground and diverse aspects of the country. I loved visiting the camels and the lone tree. My guide Ravinder was excellent and took photos of me and shared them. She was very informative, solicitous and fun.
My guide Ravinder was excellent. There is a lot to see on this tour and you can definitely pack it all in one day so this Tour is perfect. If you were short on time. Definitely glad I did this to her.
I had the absolute pleasure of having Ravinder as my tour guide, and I can confidently say she was incredible from start to finish. She is one of the kindest and most thoughtful guides I’ve ever met—genuinely caring, trustworthy, and always going the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable and well looked after. Her knowledge was outstanding, and she explained everything with such clarity and passion, making the whole experience engaging and memorable. What really stood out was how attentive she was—always checking in, being considerate of small details, and tailoring the experience to make it feel personal and special. Ravinder isn’t just a tour guide; she’s someone who makes you feel like you’re exploring with a friend who truly cares. I felt safe, valued, and inspired throughout the journey. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for not only an informative guide but also a warm, trustworthy, and genuinely lovely person to spend their time with.
From the moment we hopped in the air-conditioned car (Wi-Fi included—thank you, modern desert!) to our final goodbye, my day felt like a perfect blend of history, culture, and just the right amount of sass—courtesy of our guide, Ravinder Kaur. Ravinder greeted us with that “you’re in for a fun ride” vibe and delivered—from the serene beauty of the Great Mosque to the ancient treasures of the National Museum and the vibrant chaos of Manama’s souks. She threaded stories of Bahrain’s past through every courtyard, every artifact, and every local greeting. Highlights included:: • A robust, modern commentary—just enough to spark your curiosity at the Ancient Fort, without putting you to sleep. • Smooth transitions across the island’s top landmarks—thanks to comfy transport, cold beverages, and driver’s (Javaid) navigation skills that would put Google Maps to shame. She was equally at home dropping fun facts—like local traditions you’d never hear in guidebooks—as she was tailoring the pace for comfort, conversation, or photo ops. In short: if you want to pack the soul of Bahrain into a single, unforgettable day—without running out of stories or steam—book this tour.
Had such a good time, Ravindar was so welcoming and very passionate about her job and Bahrain. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Amazing way to see Bahrain in a day. Angela is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture, and such a kind lady. The itinerary was well-structured. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning about history in an engaging and informative way. Thank you, Angela for a fantastic experience 😊🇧🇭

Very informative and fun the guide was amazing and she was so sweet everyone on the tour. Had a wonderful time.
The tour is comprehensive and you really get to see a lot of Bahrain! You learn a little about the history and background of various points of interest and then you get a decent amount of time to explore.
This team is well informed with all that's happening in Bahrain! I had no clue what this island had in store...I thought it was just desert. BOY WAS I WRONG! This place and it's citizen's have personality and hearts full of love. From our tour guide and driver to the gentleman who worked at the Mohammed Abdullah Ebrahi, all were welcoming and giving. I am so grateful I decided to stay on this trip, I enjoyed myself. The Mosque host was knowledgeable and his team was very accommodating. We enjoyed the museum and all this history this kingdom has to offer. They are innovative...see how they generate power at the Bahrain World Trade Center. I could write on and on, just know, this tour is worth your time! Enjoy yourself and the staff! Maasalama!
Our guide Angela was amazing !! She was super friendly and very educated about Bahrain + all the different stops along the tour. We got to do a few additional stops not listed which was great as well. The camel farm and F1 track were my favorite parts !
A wonderful tour of the sights and sounds of Bahrain with the wonderful Angela. The places we stopped were numerous, but the pace was comfortable and there was plenty of time to look, learn and take pictures. The tour of the mosque was fascinating, as was the Bahrain fort. The tree of life and the oil fields gave a great insight to the more recent history of the country. We had a great lunch in the Manama souq with was authentic and full of atmosphere. There was also a visit to Our Lady of Arabia cathedral which was very beautiful. Angela is a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable and friendly. And Wajeeh drove us excellently in a cool and comfortable vehicle. A great guy! I highly recommend this tour. You will love Bahrain after you have experienced it.
We had a wonderful tour guide, whom was polite, knowledgeable and very interactive. A day well spent.
Let's start with the guide, Angela. She was wonderful. So friendly and knowledgeable throughout the day and even dropped me off at my hotel which was not part of the tour. Also, she visited places not on the tour list because she considered them interesting, and she was, of course, quite right. I must mention that there was a confusion about my morning pick-up which meant that I had to get a taxi to the first stop and the company compensated me within hours with an apology and a significant refund. An excellent company to deal with.
Ye really enjoyed the day which covers all the highlights and a nice variety of different things. Ravinder was lovely and she took some great photos too.
Visit Bahrain offered a wonderful full day guided tour with hotel transfers. I was very fortunate to get an amazing guide in Angela and driver in Abdullah to spend the day with. Angela is a special person passionate about her guiding services, being extremely kind and making sure that you get the full experience of not just the indicated itinerary but additional sites. She is very knowledgeable about the country having spent over 40 years in Bahrain. She was complemented well by Abdullah who provided insight on cultural matters experienced as a local. I enjoyed my day and created amazing memories touring with Visit Bahrain. I highly recommend their services.
I can't speak highly enough of this tour....Angela was a FANTASTIC guide. She really knew her stuff and was so friendly and passionate about Bahrain. We visited some excellent places. The highlight was the royal camel farm for me! 🐪😀
Great day tour with perfect timing everyday. No waiting time at the mosque as we were the first in the morning, also at the National Museum there was no queue. Nice story telling of the guide and very passionate to present Bahrain as a great country. Also a very cool lunch stop with traditional food for a low price. I enjoyed the full day a lot!
The Bahrain full day tour was really varied and interesting The Grand Mosque was fab and we learnt a lot here. Other highlights were the museum and the fort. The sight of all the oil wells was surprising. The tree of life is just a tree but an iconic sight and interesting. I’m not a motor racing person but the visit to the Bahrain National Circuit was good. We made our way to the top of the grandstand by the finish line and took some great pictures while preparation got the Grand Prix was going on Our guide for the day Ravinder Kaur was really good, she took us some great places and took pictures for us
Great overall tour of Bahrain! Insight into the people, culture, and history. Muhammad was knowledgeable, informative and fun! Thank you!!!
Very well organized trip. The guide was an enthusiastic girl who was knowledgeable about the sites and explained very well. The entire day was scheduled well, started at 9 pm and we were dropped in the hotel by about 5 30 pm
The tour covered a lot of the city and area, but there is no need to see the empty race track. That was a total waste of time. The mosque visit was too long since we waited 20 minutes for a guide and received an unnecessary long lesson in how to pray. There should be more emphasis on the pearl diving history and a stop on the Pearling Path. There is time since the tour description stated the tour is 9 hours … yet my tour was only 71/2 hours. Therefore there is time for my suggestions with revisions to the itinerary and a full 9-hour tour as stated in the description. Also, viator is a ripoff since it charges a solo traveler more than would be charged if I booked two people. I can understand if it is a private tour but a group tour already has other guests and there is no need for me to be charged the price of 2 people if I’m going solo.
The experience was amazing! The company was super nice and communication great. Had a blast today and my tour guide Ravinder kaur from punjab was gorgeous
An exceptional tour. Well organized. Prompt and on time pickup. Great information. Insight on the country. All the top locations were included. And took great photos for me. Ravinder was my tour guide and she was truly fantastic. I can not wait to visit Bahrain again.
I had a fantastic time with the Visit Bahrain team and Angela, who was a cheerful and lovely presence. She was insightful and super accommodating and the tour covered all the major spots of Bahrain. Would say it is a must do when visiting the country.
I had a wonderful time exploring Bahrain’s history and modern architecture with the Visit Bahrain team and my cheerful tour guide Angela. It’s a must do when in Bahrain and Angela was so insightful and the best!
