Maafushi: Airport Transfer By Speedboat

Please avoid purchasing your transport speedboat journey with Viator. The directions are wrong (map indicated to get boat in centre of Malé) the speedboats are at the airport. Once we got on board we were forced to pay for our tickets again or get off the boat. Despite showing Icom crew our clearly bought & paid for tickets there was a breakdown of communication between Viator & Icom. After paying twice for the same service, we complained to Viator who dismissed our claims. We had to visit the Icom office to get our proof of payment receipt and even then it took several attempts to get a refund. I would strongly suggest booking any transfers via your hotel or Icom directly and dont waste your time with a 3rd party like this.

The boat service, including luggage handling, is very helpful. They provide water and snacks. We are always grateful for their prompt service.

Delay with original boat and we were changed to different boat but that wasn’t communicated well and was another 30 mins in delay

What a mess, despite having tickets, we were not on the list The girl overseeing was a joke - and I mean a joke, rather than deal with us, she was much more interested in trying to get extra money if those without tickets Got on, but had to fight our way Have got to get back yet - god help us

I found this company very attentive. The communication via WhatsApp is an effective way to pass on messages quickly. They listen to my needs and accommodated me. I took the Male Airport transfer to Maafushi.

Worst experience ever had. Real mafia there. They misguided us and didn’t let us go home. Very very bad experience and bad people working there

We stayed in hotel arina beach for one night it was 24 hours tour in mahfushi island. Really enjoyed a lot. Most of the day time we are in the sea beach ⛱️. Have some Juice and coffee.I was in the water 🌊 for an hour.next day we are transferred to male airport by speed boat.

Good travel but price is expensive than actual price more than 10 S diferance .I hope to take care of this point

What a fabulous day out we all had. Even though there were no whale sharks about we still managed to swim with real big sharks 😜 Then snorkeling around the wreck was fantastic and lunch on the sandbar was delicious. I can highly recommend Viator the crew on the boat were terrific capturing every moment on film for us all individually. Great Day Out 👍

A vendor from Icom Tours and Arena Hotels told me that there was no tour operator called TukTukDude….They told me I had to pay 25 USD again to take me to the hotel. I complained to Tourist Police and then they admitted that there was a error on their part. They had received booking.

sham on you! you charged me for +60% more than the actual price of the trip!!! the actual price is only 25$ while you asked me for 40$!!!!

Well, it was just a transfer, so there is not much to tell! But the ticket arrangement was perfect! Adviseble to do.

They used it as a public ferry. I thought it was just for guests. I dont know it was like this or not

Best restaurant on the island ,Not very large but quality portions,Very nice decoration,Has a delicious dessert of Waffle with nutela fresh fruit and very rich ice cream is for 2 people,

The transport left on schedule, I was very well assisted by whatsapp, and the people waiting for me at the airport helped me with the translator and so on!
