My colleague and I booked 3 point snorkelling trip on a Friday during Ramadan. Ruth was fantastic in communicating and organising the tour, keeping us in the loop with accurate information. Nafsha and her team, including an assistant and a driver, led the tour on Friday 6th March. They were incredibly patient with me, a non-swimmer, and didn’t rush us at all. The three snorkelling stops were amazing, allowing us to see the incredible sealife of the Maldives. I would definitely recommend Secret Paradise and plan to return soon.

Had my trip today. Absolutely amazing. Previously, I had another tour with guideyourguide, and the snorkelling experience there was poor. But this tour was wonderful. Nafsha pointed out so many interesting sea creatures, I got to see a turtle, many stingrays, a few sharks, and dozens of dolphins between the dive spots! Kudos to Nafsha and the team for a great experience!

We would rate our experience as excellent! Our guides were amazing and very knowledgeable.the sites were incredible and we fell in love with the reef.

Wonderful excursion. I recommend it to all ages and swim skills. You don’t even need to know how to swim as they have life jackets.

Amazing experience. Saw plenty of fish, stingrays and coral l. Different spots each with interesting fish and coral. Also saw a rare leopard shark. The team was super friendly and helpful. So worth it. Will recommend to anyone!! Amazing 10/10!!

Absolutely beautiful under the water light and dark and different colored sea life that doesn't seem afraid of humans. Aquatic way I haven't seen anywhere else.

This tour operator really came through for us when another one canceled and left us hanging at 9am. We had a fabulous snorkeling experience with Secret Paradise Maldives. Our very nice and friendly tourleader and snorkeling guide Kamei picked us up at the cruise jetty on time. With only a group of 8 people in a small, but comfortable boat we went to 3 different snorkel spots. We got to see many different species of colorful fish, sharks, rays and other sea creatures. The water was very clear with high visibility. Kamei took good care of all of us and pointed out the most interesting marine life. As an extra bonus he took some amazing videos, he sent to each of us. Only after each snorkeling the way back in the boat was a bit challenging. The ladder was quite high and the steps not very comfortable. But all the crew were very nice and helped us to get in. I highly recommend Secret Paradise Maldives and would take them for a tour again.

It was a great experience. At the first stop very many sharks (black tip reef sharks), colourful butterfly fish, at the next stops - reefs full of live corals. Excellent contact, knowledgeable guide, thank you and recommend:)

We booked this activity for our visit on a cruise ship. There were 4 retired couples on board a modern speed boat. We were picked up at the pier by Archie, put into 2 taxis and driven to the boat. A ten minute boat ride got us to the first snorkel spot and provided with mask, fins and floatation vest. We were well prepped as to our dive along a reef edge. There were two guides in the water with us; one leading and the other following. We spotted small sharks, clown, zebra fish and others. After about a half hour we got back into the boat to go to the second site. There we saw rays, eels and other different fish. The third spot was a leisurely drift snorkel along another reef where we just floated in a slow current along the reef to the boat. The boat driver and two divers were very attentive to our various swimming abilities. We all felt very safe, supported and enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it.

I can understand now why this activity gets so many 5-star reviews. The operator is highly responsive to needs and best interests of customers to ensure best-in-class service and experience. We seek advice of how to store luggage before our transport to our resort island. They responded promptly and gave really good advice. On the day of bad weather, for the safety and best interest of customers, they cancelled the trip. We have received refund in less than 24-hour. We really appreciate all the great service and ease of mind booking this activtity on viator often with the highest rated operators like this. Thank You!!!

Shark was an amazing instructor! He taught us so much about ethical practices and showed us nurse sharks, turtles and different kinds of fish. We enjoyed the adventure and learnt a lot about Maldivian sea life. We recommend Secret Paradise to everyone!

Saw turtles just about a metre away, sting ray, nurse shark, and uncountable other variety of fishes at 3 different reefs. Also, we were lucky enough to spot a few dolphins from the boat just when we started. The tour guide was a pro and provided all the required info before the start. There was perfect support from the guide and crew during the sessions. The sea was a bit rough on the day but the guide was the the front with another crew memeber at the back during the session to make sure of the safety. Also, they keep the group size low, 5 in our case, which makes the comfort and safety top priority. I don't think there is any other company apart from Paradise which will provide such an experience. Will definitely go for this trip again in the next trip.

It was a wonderful adventure to snorkel between lots of different tropical fishes and rays. We even saw a black tip shark. On the boat we saw a turtle. The crew was very friendly, professional, helpful, and caring to make it a memorable excursion. The boat brought me to three spots in the northern Male Atoll where we had enough time for snorkeling. It was absolutely an amazing and well-organized adventure. I can really recommend this excursion to everyone. I wouldn't have wanted to miss it!

Guide Archie was fantastic! Best fish sittings I’ve ever had snorkeling. He was very patient with my getting back to comfortable snorkeling after a number of years. Archie is a real asset to Secret Paradise.

We had such a wonderful experience! At first point we saw stingrays and many colourful fish swimming just next to us. Second point we saw turtles and another reef fish and at the third point we saw sharks and beautiful coral reef. I would like to say spacial thanks to Archi and his team as they approach was very friendly and helpful. We were first time snorkles and we would not see ocean beaty without their help. Would go any day and time with them, loved it!

Secret Paradise provided two great days on a recent round the world cruise, with 29 ports where I and friends (up to 46 of us) did tours with local operators. In each port I read scores of reviews, to find the best tour operator, and Secret Paradise was easily the one in Male, Maldives. But BOOK EARLY as they are so good, they fill up. I was happy to be the beneficiary of a cancellation, which allowed us to do their 3 Point Snorkeling Tour, as well as their Full Day Walking Tour. We were a group of two on their 3 Point Snorkeling tour, and three on their Full Day walking tour, with Ub, our excellent guide, leading both tours. He's been with Secret Paradise eight years, and we were happy to have him. On the day I saw 9 black tipped reef sharks, one within three meters, many many unicorn fish - similar to a pencil above their forehead, and a favorite were the Indian Ocean oriental sweetlips ... horizontally zebra striped in black and white ... with the front, tail, and fins, all bright yellow with black polka dots. At the second spot, there were a few cold places in the water, soon followed by overly hot cells. UB explained this as upwelling, which brings nutrient and food, the lifeblood of the reef. The best views were just before we got out at the last stop, around desalination intake tubes. Thousands of fish were seen on the day. A mini school of small brown fish, perhaps eight centimeters, came together, then were fast away, dispersed in a flash. Kudos to Ruth and her team, a quality operation. She was a pleasure to work with in planning and communication. And a special thanks for keeping their group sizes small, with a focus on the environment. I much look forward to returning in the future, when I and my group will do their Full Day North Malé Island Hopping with Ruth & Mash.

Our small group had a fabulous time snorkeling. We went to three different stops and saw thousands of fish. Right away we snorkeled on top of large Stingrays - a thrill for every one of us. We saw a lot of very colorful and strange looking fish that I wish I could identified. We did see Needlefish, Parrot Fish, and some very brightly colored iridescent blue fish. And a later stop, we saw Black Tip Reef Sharks, Green Sea Turtles and a Hawksbill turtle. Our three guides were very attentive and we felt very safe in their presence. They were instrumental in helping us see a variety of fish. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and help us get in and out of the boat. We highly recommend this tour!

Amazing views, we saw sharks, stingrays, many kinds of fish. Guide was really good, we felt safe, well looked after. It wasn't my first snorkeling experience however first time i was wearing fins - i was instructed very well. I highly recommend Secret Paradise :)

We didn't have the best day weather wise, but it turned out well. The guys who took us were gentle, kind and patient with me, even though I'm uncoordinated when it comes to getting into the boat. I've snorkeled many places around the world, so I wasn't too impressed with just seeing lots of fish, (mainly butterfly.), and the coral wasn't very colorful. But on our 3rd stop, we swam with some very large sting rays & that was a highlight, for sure. We also got to see dolphins diving and keeping up with the boat. The guys gave us water and watermelon too.

The water is so clear, they make sure to take you to places where to see larger amounts of fish, also the tour guide (his name was Ub) made sure to show me interesting kind of fish, he explains about them as well. As a solo traveler, you will feel safe and they are friendly and helpful. I wish though they provide pictures under water for memories, it would be great if we have photographer with us to capture these beautiful moments.

Excellent boat in good working order. Archie showed up on time and was a pleasant guide. Fresh watermelon was provided. Saw a large variety of fish including reef sharks, several large manta rays, moray eels, and a large starfish. Only missed the turtles unfortunately.

I have been on two tours with Secret Paradise (Snorkeling and Huraa) and if I had stayed longer, I would have loved to go on even more tours. The communication before and after booking was fast and customer oriented. The guide took time to educate about the rules of snorkeling in order to respect the nature, which I found extremely important. I felt safe at all time’s and both tours were a perfect mix in between learning and fun. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Thanks to all the staff that took care of us at every moment. We saw morays, black reef sharks and every kind of fishes. It is one of the best snorkels done in Maldives. The only choose to improve are the boat stairs.

Kamey and the gang was the best. They made sure that we saw all the sites despite the time constraint and weather condition. I felt really safe and well taken cared of. So it was possible to go in the water while being lowered slowly rather than jumping in. Kamey made arrangements to squeeze in the trip before our check in to another island. And uh thank you Kamey for the lecture on impact! Thank you Ruth for arranging this trip for us!

The boat was late and I thought it was totally inadequate for the 6 snorkelers, one guide and two crew. It was small and there was little shaded area. The ladder was difficult to use and there weren’t the right fins on board which delayed our start even long. Our guide was very good and the snorkeling was very good. There was no fruit supplied as advertised. The preparation was poor but the snorkeling was very good.

We had an excellent experience taking the snorkelling tour with secret paradise. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming in the sea. Mash, our tour guide was great and helpful, thanks for the wonderful memories, we are highly recommend to join this tour!

Easy access to three close by reefs and able to see amazing fish for 2.5 hours. Onky four people in our group and personalized attention.

Had a great snorkelling trip with Mash in Feb 2023. He met us at the Westside Jetty in Hulhumale and it turned out that we were the only couple on the trip. Mash was able to accommodate our request on a specific finishing time so we can meet the ferry schedule back to Male. We had a great trip, starting as soon as we left the jetty as we were welcomed by a large pod of dolphins swimming along with us and jumping from the water. All 3 snorkelling stops were great, with literally thousands of fish (many, many different kinds), rays, eels and reef sharks. Each stop was different from the previous one. We saw a large (6ft-ish) black-tipped reef shark near the end of our trip. Mash was very attentive and always put safety first. He knows the areas well and is very knowledgeable on what we are seeing and he is happy to impart that knowledge. He is very good at spotting things that we may have missed. Overall it was a great experience and a great way to spend a morning in Male/Hulhumale if your timing allows.

I had a super fun snorkeling adventure with Mash, he was really both knowledgable and humorous. While the weather wasn’t in our favor, I appreciated everyone’s efforts to still make it an fabulous time, including the small sharks on one of the reefs!

Had the best snorkeling experience with M. Shark! Ive snorkeled in Hawaii, FL, South Africa and this was phenomenal! Saw black tooth sharks, turtles, thousands of fish!

Excellent experience! Each of the three sites offered different wonders - the sheer variety of sea life you can see just snorkeling is astonishing. The day I went, guide Mash and I saw masses of animals, including an enormous ray, eels, blue-lipped clams and a group of oceanic batfish (my new favorite fish). The OMG moment? When a black tip reef shark and a turtle casually swam past each other, surrounded by schools of smaller fish. Mash is a wonderful guide - conscientious, warm, knowledgeable and completely devoted to sharing the wonders of his ocean home and preserving it. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and well looked after at all times. Highly recommended! A little more about Secret Paradise, as I had the good fortune to go on several different tours and to benefit from Ruth's assistance with arranging ferry travel between islands. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend Secret Paradise to anyone planning a trip to the Maldives. You will receive excellent service, connect with local people and contribute to the sustainable well-being of the people and environment of the Maldives. Amazing underwater nature. I see dolphins, sharks, turtle, mureen and rays. Only in 3 hour. And instructor is so friendly. I recommend this trip for all people who like diving. 👌🏻

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip at the very last moment due to my personal situation. However, the overall experience and communication with Secret Paradise went very smooth. Ruth has been very responsive and prompt in addressing all the queries I had. For an unexperienced person like me, she also explained clearly what to expect and how to prepare for the trip. I really wish I could experience snorkeling with them. If I ever happen to visit Maldives again, I would pick Secret Paradise for snorkeling.

I had an amazing time seeing so many fish, whale sharks, sting rays and mantas. Kamal made sure I was safe at all times. He was a wealth of information and I learned a lot, had a great time and I came away in awe of the ocean and all its dazzling creatures.

Based on the initial 3 snorkel trip I then took part in snorkel and sunset cruise in addition to more snorkeling trips. Was impressed to observe the COVID protocol processes they had in place in addition to the fantastic service received. The guides were really entertaining and well informed which in addition to the efficient and clear organising information gave a strong impression. Absolutely loved the flexibility and guidance of the guides including Shar who made the trips so much fun! The snorkeling locations chosen were spectacular with a fantastic plethora of sea life to see! We saw everything from colourful fish to eels, sharks, Rays and was delighted to have dolphins appear 🙏 If you are looking for well organised, safe and fun experiences that are without doubt great value for money, would absolutely recommend this company!

Small group of 10 which was good. Good snorkelling with wonderful fish but the weather was probably a little too rough to completely enjoy the experience. It was difficult to get back into the boat. The boat was not an ideal design for snorkelling - more a passenger carrier. UB looked after us very well.

Ruth was most helpful at arranging our private snorkeling safari trip at such short notice. After spending 6 days at resort with not-so-amazing house reef, we decided to spend our last few hour before catching our flight back home snorkeling three different spots close to the airport. We were greeted by Secret Paradise's representative (I'm really sorry but we're really bad with names and we have forgotten!) at the airport and after a short taxi trip to Hulhumale's port, we started our snorkeling trip which lasted round 2.5 hours. We were really blown away by the variety of fish and we had a great time. Their representative was professional, caring and the trip in itself exceeding our expectations. The speedboat was basic but fit for purpose. Please note that it will be very difficult to get changed in the boat hence I suggest you wear your swimming suit under your clothes before you board the boat. I got sea sick (nothing to do with Secret Paradise) and their representative was most attentive and caring. I would strongly advice you to take strong sea sick tablets if you tend to get sick. In summary, I would use and recommend the services of Secret Paradise again, hopefully in the near future! For a group of 3, it was not a cheap trip though... Thank you to Ruth and her team!
