Last time, we stayed in Dhigurah, so this time we stayed in Falhumaafushi. Just like last time, there was staff who could speak Japanese, so check-in was smooth. It was a downpour when we arrived, but the staff carried our suitcases to our room with getting soaked. We can drink sparkling wine with breakfast, just like last time. It’s a wonderful breakfast for us. The egg dishes were cooked to perfection and were delicious. This time, just like last time, we tried breakfast at both Dhigurah and Falhumaafushi, and it’s nice that the menus are different. I like Eggs Benedict, and I can enjoy each different taste. Also, Dhigurah has more rooms, so the Dhigurah restaurant is bigger and the menu is more abundant. Personally, I prefer Falhumaafushi restaurant because of calm circumstances. For snorkeling, it’s fun to enter the ocean from the unused diving center in Falhumaafushi and explore the area around the drop-off via the pipelines. The sea here is truly beautiful, with beautiful table corals and fish. By the way, I heard there are sea turtles as well, but we didn’t see. The housekeeping staff was attentive, and we were well taken care of, so our stay was completely comfortable. We were a bit surprised when a supervisor of the housekeeping team came to check, but I think the performance of our housekeeping staff was excellent. In our room, there are three types of towels, all fluffy and high quality. When I said, ‘The medium-sized towel is the easiest to use,’ they increased the number of those towels and even provided liquid hand soap according to my request, so we never felt any inconvenience. As expected, communication with the housekeeping staff is important for a long stay, and we are truly grateful that they made every effort to meet our requests. I've visited resorts all over Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, but I really felt that the our housekeeping staff are top-notch. After the room cleaning on the last day, I took a photo of the towel art he left. Don’t you think it’s really well done? During my stay at Falhumaafushi, I felt that it has been a while since our room was built because one of the air conditioners in our room wasn't cooling well l. I recommend replacing them gradually. I’ve visited the Maldives several times, and I will plan to stay at this hotel again, next Maldives journey. The hospitality is excellent, and I didn’t feel any stress during my stay at all.

Amazing holiday experience at The Residence Falhumaafushi. We had already visited the Digurah sister resort and this time it was even better. Falhumaafushi has a small cozy island feeling that made it memorable for us, while still only a short 10-15 min buggy drive away from the bigger Digurah. The water Villa was exceptional, the service impecable and food delicious. In particular, would highlight the Beach Bar, where Ramesh was always super attentive, and the Long Island restaurant, with Sanjit providing excellent recommendations and service the multiple times we ate there. Even though we got mixed weather throughout our stay, we always had the feeling of relaxation and disconnection we were hoping for in our holiday. Plus the water activities were spectacular, with amazing coral dives nearby; shout out to Ali for being a great dive master. Would definitely come back and recommend it to everyone thinking of going on holiday in the Maldives.
We had a superb stay here - a bit further to travel, but worth it for great coral & sea life, a gorgeous & well-maintained island, and exceptional service. Ramesh at the Falhumaafushi Dining Room Beach Bar stood out in particular - a brilliant guy who really made our trip. Shout-out also to Pinky in housekeeping, who ensured our room was always spotless and we were always looked after.
I had a wonderful stay at this residence and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Maldives. The property is clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. A special thank you to the manager, Mr. Yusuf, for his outstanding hospitality and professionalism. He was always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed, making our stay truly enjoyable. His dedication to ensuring guests have a great experience is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mr. Yusuf, and the entire team for making our stay memorable. I look forward to visiting again in the future!
We were quite disappointed with our stay, especially considering the price and the category of the hotel. We had to wait from 7:30 to 12:30 to take the plane, which meant losing almost half a day just to arrive. We understand the hotel is far from Malé, but having so few transfer options does not feel appropriate for a luxury hotel. The lack of activities and atmosphere was also disappointing. There was no DJ or evening entertainment because we were told the DJ was on holiday, and no alternative was offered. After dinner, there was nowhere with music or any real atmosphere to enjoy the evening. Due to bad weather, included activities such as paddle surf and kayak were not available, which we understand for safety reasons, but no alternative activities were provided. If the weather is bad, there is very little to do, and many of the other activities felt limited or overpriced. We also felt that the all inclusive concept was misleading. Snacks between meals were charged separately, and many dishes had supplements, so it felt more like full board with drinks than a true all inclusive experience. On a positive note, the staff were excellent throughout our stay, always kind, attentive and helpful. Overall, the experience did not live up to what was promised or to what we expected from a hotel of this level. We felt disappointed and would not return or recommend it.
