Pullman Maldives All-inclusive Resort

A special thank you to Manager Susantha for helping us resolve our issue. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, and truly made us feel at home throughout our stay. We really appreciate his warm hospitality and all his help. 🙏 We also had a wonderful lunch experience at the underwater room. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience was truly memorable.

The service, the island, the rooms is more than appreciated. All the experience during our honeymoon was dreamy! The personnel cares very well for us in all belongings (room, restaurant, bar). The shuttle service was great, the spots are beautiful so that we conclude this as the perfect place for our honeymoon. A special thanks to our bar friends from "The Hub" (Moin, Kk and Sunaina) together with the great (after) dinner music played by three musicians from Sri Lanka.

Anyone that knows me, knows I am the last one to post reviews. If you are thinking of travelling from Australia to the Maldives (new Melbourne direct flight) and you are considering Luxury Escapes, it is great value and the reefs are spectacular. We’ve stayed at two Four Seasons, Banyan Tree, Angsana, Club Med in the Maldives over the past 20 years. Most recently when we stayed at the Mercure - 4 star - they were way more accommodating to a complimentary later checkout than the Pullman. I have now stayed at both. As an Accor platinum member I’d recommend either the Mercure or anywhere else. We are currently at Pullman Maldives the resort, they gave us a 1.30pm checkout - we depart the island at 3.30pm and refusing to let us stay in the room any later unless we pay $100++ hour because I booked via an agent instead of direct. While we booked through luxury escapes, we upgraded direct with the hotel, and I’m aware I wouldn’t get the status credits,. I stay in that many hotels for work and personal travel that doesn’t bother me Shocking lack of recognition for brand loyalty at a 5-star luxury property. In addition to the USD 100++ per hour for a later checkout we are also denied the all inclusive food and drink. Instead they offered for us to pay an extra $300USD for the all inclusive food and beverage package for 2 hours, how ridiculous can you get. What is the point of being an Accor Platinum member? This is making me reconsider Accor. We are talking about 2 hrs to have the room till we depart, ironically an online search shows rooms available for the exact category.

I recently experienced the Maamutaa Signature Massage at the spa, and it was hands down the best massage I have ever had. A massive thank you to Sapti and especially Sunita, whose incredible technique left me feeling completely relaxed yet wonderfully energised. The balance they achieved was perfect, and the entire experience was deeply rejuvenating. I am already looking forward to my next visit and absolutely hope to experience the exact same treatment again soon. Highly recommended!
