Last year, our family enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights vacation at Jumeirah Olhhahali Island. Going through the old photos recently finally gave me the chance to properly review the trip. Everything was excellent, especially our room. It was spacious and luxurious, featuring a beautiful bathtub and a private infinity pool that led directly toward the beach. The privacyu, luxury, and quality time with family and friends were perfectly combined in this getaway. The resort offers almost everything you could wantt yoga, a gym, cooking classes, and a wide range of kids’ activities including playgrounds, workshops, and treasurehunts led by actual teachers/guides. Interestingly, the room service turned out to be even more delicious than the Japanese restaurant on the island. The only disappointment was the attitude of the host and staff. For such a prestigious, long-standing luxury villa resort in the Maldives, the welcome felt oddly lacking in warmth and smiles. It was quite disappointing perhaps the intense heat and extreme sunshine during our visit played a part. Overall, though, it was a memorable and highly enjoyable stay.

We have been so blessed that we have been able to come here for years - we have lost count. One of the best resort in the maldives and we have visited so many luxurious ones. The most wonderful staff , the room which is more like an entire villa to the wonderful food. we enjoy coming back to see the staff year on year. Pure bliss !

The range of activities is impressive—both the kids’ club and adult daytime programs are packed every day. The childcare service at the kids’ club is especially attentive, with staff constantly present to accompany and engage the children. As for the rooms, you can get a good sense of the layout on Google Maps—most of the overwater villas face the open ocean directly. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. The only drawback is that screen mirroring with Apple ecosystem devices can be unreliable. Diving here is not particularly recommended. The underwater ecosystem in the North Malé Atoll has been significantly degraded. Combined with Jumeirah’s premium positioning, the overall value for money feels relatively low in this regard. Dining, however, is exceptional. Even with a half-board package over four days, I wasn’t able to try all the dishes. Most of the offerings are not only beautifully presented but also delicious. Our butler, Stephanie Seow, also left a lasting impression—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. Thanks to Jumeirah for creating such a memorable experience.

An exceptional stay beyond expectations I had an absolutely amazing stay at Jumeirah Olhahali Island and spent three beautiful nights there. Everything was truly above excellent — from the island itself, the luxury villas, cleanliness, privacy, and facilities, to the outstanding level of service and hospitality. A very special thank you to Laith, who made our experience unforgettable. From the first moment, his warm welcome, professionalism, and genuine care stood out. He clearly explained the daily schedule, all island activities, and everything related to the resort. He also handled restaurant reservations smoothly and ensured all arrangements were perfectly organized. Laith’s manners, positive attitude, and attention to detail reflect the highest standards of hospitality. My highest rating goes to everything — service, comfort, luxury, organization, and overall experience. Highly recommended, and I will definitely return again.
