Hotel Riu Atoll - All Inclusive

We have just returned from a 2 week stay. I am sad to be home. Everything was perfect. The rooms, the staff, the food, the drinks and the other guests. I have never been to a place with such friendly people. But I suppose it’s hard to be miserable when you are in paradise. The pools were clean and the beach was beautiful. We will definitely be return visitors xxx

RIU Atoll is a wonderful place in the Maldives to visit. The staff make you feel special and always there to help. This was our 2nd time and was amazed that most of the staff remembered us from the previous year, even the drinks we had. The transfer from Male airport to RIU Atoll went very smoothly, being met by RIU staff, who take you to the domestic flight then more staff take to the waiting boat for the final journey leg to RIU Atoll. If you are looking for a holiday in the Maldives, this place is well worth looking at. We have enjoyed coming here twice now and already booked for Jun 27 and maybe Sep 27 too. So that in itself proves what a beautiful relaxed holiday island this is.

We visited the Rui Atoll Hotel at the end of August, beginning of September. What can I say? The location was idyllic, the weather was perfect, and the proximity of the rooms to the beach was also a very pleasant surprise. We were a family of six with different age ranges from sixty-three to fifteen. However, each one of our family members had something to do. The rooms were very nice; the smart bathroom was equipped with all the modern furniture, whilst towels and beach towels were also provided on a daily basis. The beds were very comfortable, and the mini bar was restocked every day as well. So if you are on an all-inclusive package, then you can make use of this. Although we do not drink alcohol, it was also loaded with a number of soft drink beverages. The staff at the hotel were incredibly warm, friendly, and eager to help if you had any queries. A special mention to Nizam, who did our room on a daily basis and left it very clean and without any sand on the floor, which we inevitably brought in when out on the beach next to our room. We also attended the buffet, which had a wide variety of food to each and every person's taste. We had some members opting for more Indian-based dishes whilst others were more roast and fish based. However, there was something for everyone, whilst the sweets were also varied in number and the veg and fruits were also very sweet and delectable. The ice cream was also very nice, and a special mention to the coconut ice cream, which was very delicious. The staff at the buffet were also very helpful, and a mention to Krish. Most of the members could help you if you had any dietary queries or allergies, whilst there were two specialty restaurants which also provided very tasty cuisine, one being an Italian and the other more steak based. You book the place either via ringing reception or by the App. The top of the Island has hammocks and a lovely view so please visit this when on holiday there, Overall, we stayed for seven days and enjoyed our stay. There was Scuba Carib, which was a watersport part of the hotel, and we made good use of the free water sports, which were the non-motorised ones, whilst my children attended the water sports for the snorkelling, which was also enjoyable. The water here is so clear that you can go out to the third flag and still see the 'ocean floor'. We dropped our watch in the shallow water and the staff were able to retrieve it!! Incredible! Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel again and would love to return one day in the future. The staff were incredibly customer focused. So if you are after a relaxing trip without too many hiccups, then this would be the place to book. If you are going to the Maldives, a special mention also to the seaplane flying out to the hotel, which is another memorable experience, one which we still chat about on our return. You can see the beautiful views of all the different islands whilst flying to this private island. It took us 16 hours door to door from the UK but was well worth it!

We had a wonderful stay, everything from the food, accommodation, staff and activities were all exceptional! In particular we can’t thank Thaney or Roshan enough, they made our experience just that bit more enjoyable. Thaney made our anniversary evening extra special with little touches they’d added and our daily conversations with him are very memorable. We’re also rather pleased that Roshan’s love of cricket matched our own, and particularly enjoyed discussing the England-India matches we’d watched during our stay. The food choice was excellent, room cleanliness brilliant and staff attitudes and friendliness outstanding.
