My younger sister and I stayed at Baros Maldives from 28 to 31 August 2026 for four days and three nights. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Baros Maldives, especially Suzy, our wonderful butler, for taking such great care of us and making us feel completely at home throughout our stay. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. They took care of every detail and made everything feel so smooth and effortless, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. We felt comfortable, peaceful, and surrounded by so much positive energy throughout our stay. Baros Maldives is not only a beautiful place, but it is also filled with genuinely warm and caring people. We are writing this review to express our appreciation and to encourage the management and every member of the team. You are paying a premium cost for the experience at this location, and it genuinely offers value that justifies the expense! Our time at this island resort was absolutely incredible, and we have no reservations or unfavorable remarks about our stay whatsoever. Throughout our entire visit, starting from the moment we first checked in until the time we departed at checkout, the staff attended to our needs with a level of care and attention that surpassed any service we have received elsewhere. Our personal butler, Ruvindya, was amazing; she followed up with us daily and kept us updated on our plans! Executive chef Lakshitha along with his team Chandana, dilshan, Smith, cooked us some amazing Sri Lankan meals! The beach environment was incredibly pleasant, enhanced by the presence of numerous baby sharks throughout the area. Furthermore, the locations designated for snorkeling around the island were also found to be quite remarkable. The accommodations we stayed in were maintained in a clean condition, and the wireless internet connectivity proved to be reliable and robust. The entire island itself was consistently kept in an excellent state of maintenance. Taking everything into consideration, our overall experience felt absolutely heavenly.

Our stay at Baros Island was truly unforgettable from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived in Malé, everything was perfectly organized. The speedboat transfer to Baros was smooth and comfortable, and we received a warm welcome with refreshing drinks and cold towels. A special thank you to our guide, Ruvi, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and always kept us informed. He also helped us arrange a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The room service provided by our villa attendant, Aravind, was outstanding. Everything was always spotless, perfectly prepared, and handled with great attention to detail. Every member of the Baros team was friendly, calm, welcoming, and always smiling. They made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The staff gave us a thorough introduction, explaining the best snorkeling spots and how to make the most of our experience. The marine life around the island is simply incredible, vibrant coral reefs, crystal-clear turquoise water, and an amazing variety of fish made every snorkeling trip unforgettable. The island itself is a true paradise, full of lush tropical greenery surrounded by stunning azure waters. Our villa was beautiful, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Every morning, we enjoyed an exceptional breakfast with a huge variety of fresh and delicious food. This was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. We already can’t wait to come back, and we will miss this beautiful place and its wonderful people very much. Thank you to everyone at Baros for making our holiday so special!
From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We were especially touched that many staff addressed us by name, which made our stay feel very personal and memorable. A special thank you to Ruvi, our butler, for her prompt, attentive and excellent service throughout our stay. She was always helpful, warm and efficient, making our experience seamless and enjoyable. We would also like to convey our sincere appreciation to Executive Chef LJ for preparing such a wonderful personalised dinner for us. The meal was beautifully prepared and truly memorable. A heartfelt thank you as well to Manager Hassan for kindly showing us around during the Maldivian Cultural Evening and sharing more about the local culture and traditions. We truly appreciated his warmth and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the activities organised by the resort, including the fishing competition and the various cultural programmes, which were very well arranged and enjoyable. The daily yoga sessions at the Lighthouse were especially peaceful and rejuvenating. Our villa was always very clean, comfortable and well maintained, and we were impressed by the delicious breakfast spread every morning with its excellent variety and quality. Thank you once again to the entire Baros team for making our stay such a beautiful and memorable experience. We truly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return again in the future.
