I stayed in an East King Room on the second floor that has a view of the ocean. I loved this location and being close to the beach, the dunes, the boardwalk and it is a lovely walk to the downtown. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I enjoyed a relaxing swim in the warm pool. I look forward to staying at this location again. Great stay! The doggo even had a great stay! Only negative is the bathroom is tight and no where to put clothes away but the shower was amazing and the bed was comfy with big pillows! Enjoyed the restaurant on our floor and the proximity to the beach. We rented bikes and enjoyed the trail as well.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Adrift, and for its price point, it definitely felt like a great stay. We particularly enjoyed the pickled fish and loved every meal we had. We also loved the complimentary bikes and coffee, and the proximity to the bike paths, the boardwalk, and the beach.
I would love to come back, I just hope they work on their saunas - 2/3 saunas weren’t heating properly. I would also love an actual hot tub! The pool was nice but we certainly did miss having an actual hot tub.
Man, I honestly can't say enough good things about this hotel. The folks behind the counters were so laid back and friendly. Check in was easy and the rooms were really nice including oscillating fans and easy to open windows. Ear plugs were a nice touch although we didn't need them as it was pretty quiet that night. They have so many incredible amenities but the main catch for us was the free bike rentals. The money you save alone on that made the stay worth it. and with the hotel being right on the paved Lewis and Clark Discovery trail, it was a no brainer to check those out and ride it all. They have a ton of bikes so I really doubt you'll ever have to wait around for one. They open the bikes up around 6am I think, so you can get out early as well. But here's the really cool thing about these folks: There is supposed to be a 4 hour limit on the bikes, so when we brought them back and were still wanting to ride around they said go for it. There were still plenty of other bikes available anyway. Such an accommodating hotel. Didn't get to try the spa or restaurant, but we'd like to come back to the Long Beach area again and stay here since the whole town in general is so nice.
Really enjoyed our stay in Long Beach. The hotel had a stylish coastal feel - clean design, comfortable rooms and an amazing location right by the water. Waking up to the ocean view and being able to walk or drive straight onto the beach was a huge highlight.
It also felt like the perfect home base for exploring the area, with easy access to downtown, the boardwalk, restaurants, coffee shops and quick drives down toward Astoria. Relaxed vibe overall and exactly the kind of coastal hotel experience we were hoping for.
