Another memorable day with Miguel as our guide this time. He was superb. We visited villages that we just wouldn't have experienced so well had we gone alone. Saw so many fascinating sights and had just six other passengers join us in the vehicle which makes for such a personal tour. Lunch was great too, with more than enough choice to suit everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended.

This was a surprising, beautiful and very well balanced excursion. The villages we visited were all nearby, so we didn't lose time on the road and could really appreciate the mudéjar villages, all four of them. Driver-guide Miguel is a very professional and easy going person, we could ask him any question. We all had lunch together, which made the experience extra special. A five star experience!

Fantastic experience of visiting four White Villages as part of a small party of eight. Miguel picked us up at our selected meeting point and was brilliant in bringing to life all aspects of each village's culture and history. The stop for lunch was in a lovely cool town square and food choice was good. The Mercedes Vito was very comfortable. Miguel was excellent in getting all eight (2 Irish, 2 Canadian and 4 USA/El Salvador) mix of ages group to fully engage in the whole experience. Great to see the non-commercialised side of Spain with stunning scenery. Overall, would highly recommend this Tour and a big thanks to Miguel who made it so interesting and worthwhile.

Very interesting and informative activity. Miguel was very knowledgeable about all villages we visited and made the trip excellent fun. We really enjoyed the Spanish lunch and learnt about how donkeys used to be so important in the mountainous villages.

I joined a day trip to some Pueblos Blancos, guided by Miguel. It was a wonderful day, which I highly recommend! Miguel is a very nice and good guide with extensive knowledge of the area. He pays attention to everyone and has a sense of humor. There was enough time to look around. De group was only five persons. Contact from the office was also good and quick. This trip to the White Villages was wonderful! Our guide, Cipriano was very knowledgeable, humerous, very professional and...a great driver! The group, 8 in total was great company for the day - 2 German, 2 Swedish, 2 Canadian and ourselves, 2 Irish. The 3 course lunch, included in the price, was delicious and, for me, as coeliac, included many gluten free options. Olétrips were lovely to deal with, personal, very organized and friendly. Miguel was our guide and we toured the white villages - we would never have seen what we did alone without his expertise and not to mention his driving . He set the tone for the tour with our ground we laughed all day . We have taken many trips in many countries but Miguel just got the balance right - what an asset to his company . We were also blessed with the nicest fellow passengers in our group . Lunch was exceptionally nice

Be prepared for some quite steep steps and slopes in these hilly villages. Well worth the effort if you can manage it. Beautiful scenery all the way.

Three beautiful whitewashed villages made so much more interesting and fun by our guide Miguel. Felt very safe in the comfortable vehicle. A great balance of time in the vehicle, walking through the villages and comfort stops. I will be considering other trips with Ole Trips

Really enjoyed this trip from beginning to end. 4 villages were stunning & our guide, & driver Cipriano was excellent in telling the stories & history of these villages. Time at each village just right & we were guided round each of them by Cipriano. Final lunch stop was very good too! Plenty of choice.

Just brilliant!!! We were a party of 7 - two Scots, 3 Irish and 2 Swedes and we got on like a house on fire!!! More than surpassed our expectations- driven in style, brilliant to see the villages and Miguel our host was charming, funny, highly informed and it was an easy , interesting day with lots of laughs ! Learned so much about the history of the region and fascinating to see smaller traditional villages. Lunch was amazing - definitely booking another Ole trip . You d be mad not to do the same !!!

Great day out, absolutely stunning villages. We had great weather for it. Transport in a nice vehicle, our guide Cipriano was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was excellent.

We had a fabulous day. Our tour guide Miguel was knowledgeable and extremely personable and we enjoyed his company. It was great to travel to the villages and see life in rural Spain. In total we visited 5 villages.. and Miguel drove us safely up and down the hilly mountain roads. The three course lunch was superb. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent small group tour with our guide/driver Miguel. Picked up in a comfortable air conditioned Mercedes Vito. Driven up into the mountains to many beautiful white villages. Views were stunning. Had coffee and lunch stops which were great and had time to chat with our fellow travellers and Miguel. We were a group of two Scots (us), a Canadian couple and three ladies from Barcelona. Language barriers were quickly broken down and we had a great time. As seasoned travellers who have taken many small group tours, I can honestly say that this was the most enjoyable one yet. We would highly recommend doing this tour for anyone visiting the Nerja area.

Recently returned from Nerja where we spent one day on the Mudejar and White Village tour (5 small villages), what a fantastic experience this was, it was a fabulous day and I would truly recommend you taking the tour. The booking from start to finish was easy and communication from Maria was very helpful. Our guide was Cipriano, he was friendly and very professional with an excellent knowledge of the history behind each village. The lunch included was delicious, a very tasty 3 courses. Thankyou both for a lovely day.

Excellent small group tour (6 in our tour) of five small white Spanish villages in the hills above Nerja. Tour guide Ciprino was very knowledgeable and gave us great background into the history of the region. Transport was excellent, pick-up and drop-off was literally outside our apartment, and lunch in the last village was lovely. Really recommend this trip.

Excellent tour. Well organised, interesting itinerary and a really enjoyable day. A vey knowledgeable guide/driver. This was our second Ole trip and it didn’t disappoint. Will definitely take another tour when we return to Nerja

An absolutely fantastic way to see the real Spain and local area. Loved the information Miguel gave us. He is a lovely guy with excellent english . Id 100% reccomend this tour if u would like to see the authentic Spain 🇪🇸. Also to mention the 3 course meal was excellent too.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the white villages on the mudejar route. We were part of a group of 8; 2 English, 2 Irish, 2 German and 2 Spanish. Miguel did an excellent job of ensuring we were all well informed about what we were viewing en route and within each of the villages we visited. And his driving skills on the narrow, winding mountain roads were excellent. The villages themselves were all picturesque and the history of each was fascinating. We took it at our own pace, not once did we feel rushed. My friend isn’t the steadiest on her feet but she was made to feel at ease and was able to navigate the streets in each of the villages. The coffee stop and the lunch stop were both great. If you’re considering this trip, book it - you won’t regret it!

We had a lovely day exploring the beautiful mountains and white villages of the region with Miguel guiding us. He is very knowledgeable of the local area, history and agriculture and a great driver - some of the roads are hairy🙈! Finished off with a lovely lunch and drive back. Miquel imparted lots of interesting facts, always in an upbeat manner which kept the interest of everyone in the group. Lunch was very good too.

There was 8 persons on this tour and the Mercedes mini bus had no air con on . We started at the front but found it too cramped and moved to the back when the last couple joined . They were a bit smaller than us . There was a disabled couple on the bus and I’m not sure this tour was suitable for them . The lady especially struggled and found it hard to keep up. The guide was patient and very informative and overall we enjoyed it !

Beautiful scenery when skies are clear up through the hills and villages. A must if you have a car why else to get to 100!!!!

Beautifully scenic trip though the mountainous villages and the winding streets of these historical towns. Miguel was a great guide, providing the historical significance of the places we stopped. He is a friendly and knowledgeable guide and just a pleasure to be around.

If you can only go on one trip make sure it's this one with Oletrips! Two words - Absolutely Fabulous!! All previous 5 reviews say it all. We've been coming to the Costa del Sol for 35+ years and knew nothing about Axarquia. Each of the five villages visited were beautiful and Ciprianos knowledge and stories so interesting. We're hooked - the small group, comfortable minibus and lovely lunch made best day out. Thank you Ole 😊

I went on this trip on Monday 13th January. It was a fantastic day out with Miguel our driver and guide and another couple who I just met on the day. Miguel was such a nice easy-going fella who was very knowledgeable and good company. The villages we visited were very pretty and architecturally very pleasing. Miguel gave us a lot of very interesting details about the history of the area. The four of us had a lot of laughs also along the way ! All in all, a great day out and very well worth the price. A fabulous day out visiting lesser known but unspoiled authentic villages, learning about the local culture, history, micro-climate, agriculture and architecture to mention just a few items. Small group tour (4 people on this occasion) with the most knowledgeable and passionate guide Miguel, made it an unforgettable experience... definitely the best ever!! Pleasantly surprised with the coffee break and sampling one of the local favourites and lunch was delicious. Highlyrecommended and can't wait to be back next year to see more of the real Spain. Thanks to Maria for her patience in explaining the various tours .. definitely nailed it!!

This tour was one of the best I have ever done. Everything about it was perfect. The scenery was spectacular and our driver/guide was excellent. The lunch was included in the price and all three courses were delicious. We will definitely be using this company again.

Very comfortable transport, small group - 7, wonderful guide Miguel, with excellent local knowledge. Beautiful whitewashed villages just inland...and so different from the busier coast. Steeped in history. Beautiful views. Rounded off with a delicious filling Spanish lunch (included).

We thoroughly enjoyed our white villages trips today. Miguel was a superb guide and host and showed us fabulous villages that we would never have found otherwise, delivering historical information in a most interesting way. Walking through the labyrinth of tiny streets was just magical. We finished off with a delicious 3 course meal in a lovely village in great company.

When I realized that it was impossible to see the famous white villages in one day without a car, I started looking for excursions. I googled "excursion pueblos blancos desde nerja" and found an excursion that suited me perfectly. Everything was great.

We went on this trip and really enjoyed it. Miguel the driver and guide took great care of the five us in the group. Pointing out and describing the history and cultural aspects of the villages and surrounding area. Great food for both early coffee break and the free three dishes lunch. Extra plus maybe that the others in the group were friendly and funny. We went with Oletrips on the almond tour in end of January. We were equally happy then with the trip and guide Cipriano. Can highly recommend to go with them both! Perfect for a small intimate group! Maria who take cares of the booking do a great job as well!

And to finish it off after all our walking a lovely 3 course lunch. We really enjoyed our day out and look forward to booking one of the other trips next time we return to Nerja.
