Tour: Dolphins & Sailing Small-group Benalmádena Catamaran

Really nice time! Saw dolphins real close. Awesome boat trip! The katamaran was very comfortable. Can really recommend this trip!

It was a nice boat and great being out on sea, but there was no information from the Crew. No welcome, telling us what would happend- they didn’t even say their names…. So that had an impact on the experience. We didn’t see dolphins and of course that would have made the experience better, but the rating is really due to the lack of information and approach by the Crew.

Cat is easy to find, the two guys running the trip are lovely, got drinks and crisps provided. We weren’t sure we’d see dolphins but lo and behold we found them. The trip was fun even without. Sitting on the front of the boat in the sun, blankets provided if it’s chilly, views of the coastline. Would 💯 go again.

Dolphins obviously not guaranteed as they are in their natural habitat. We were lucky, we saw one. The boat itself and the adventure it brought was worth the money alone. My two children absolutely loved being thrown about by the waves and getting a soaking. We weren’t lucky enough to have the weather to swim or paddle board - but honestly it wasn’t needed. My only tiny criticism is that there was small snacks advertised as being included - but nothing was offered. We did get a drinks option which was lovely and topped it off.

People should distrust this operator. I booked well in advance. I received emails but none told me where to meet. No one ever answers the phone although I called multiple times. Eventually I involved Viator who was able to contact the operator. I was told at 16:30 to get there at least ten minutes early for an 18:00 departure. I was staying 50km away so I raced to the car and arrived in time at 17:40. I could not find anyone. Just then - a message stating “due to bad weather we have rescheduled your tour for another day” a day after my wife returned home. First of all the weather was perfect with no inclement weather predicted for at least 10 days. Second - is how can you tell me an hour earlier that I’d better hurry and then cancel within an hour? It is my assumption that they only had a few passengers and decided that it was better to anger foreign tourists then to go out with a half empty boat. In any case it ruined our trip as we were there only because we needed to hurry or they’d leave without us.

Well worht the extra money instead of been crammed onto one of the other boats. Plenty of space to sit or sunbath on the boats nets

Absolutely fabulous trip, we arrived half an hour early and boarded and left soon after. We were 12 ladies together and had the boat to ourselves. The crew were brilliant and helped a few ladies that were apprehensive to the front of the boat. We followed a pod of dolphins so didn't have time to go in the he water, but too wonderful to miss. Would highly recommend this trip, great value for money and a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Reasonably priced for an unforgettable experience. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. Didn’t see any dolphins but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment of being out at sea. Although it mentions snorkels and paddy boats provided, we only booked a 2 hour trip and understand that they likely get them out for longer bookings, which makes sense. All in 10/10.

This was a great experience. We had enough wind to turn off the motor and actually sail. We also saw some dolphins. While we didnt have much time to jump in the water, it was great to cool off, snorkeling, paddle board, and just swim.

It was so much fun even though we didn’t see any dolphins. I wish we could swim in the ocean a little longer, but still well worth it.

I visited with my daughter and 3 year old grandson for a short break as it was his first holiday, I would have to say it's an excellent place for families with young kids, lots for the little one to do, the food was plenty full with good choices and snacks were available most of the day, we didn't see the night time entertainment as it was too late for the little one, I would definitely recommend this hotel as it completely family friendly

Great boat, good music, awesome staff, good drinks, more of a party vibe than a calm. boat ride. We did not see any dolphins and it was a bit too cold to take a swim.

A relaxing way to end the day. The crew on the boat was great. Only 10 guests on the sail which made it comfortable. Would highly recommend. If traveling by car to the marina give yourself plenty of time to find parking.

Excellent experience with the crew. We saw dolphins during the cruise and they offered us a complimentary drink. We highly recommend it.

We all really enjoyed our boat trip and saw some dolphins too which was great. Cava was a nice touch. A good value trip, thank you.

Friendly staffs, free drinks and snacks, good views and good vibes, captain tried very hard for us too see dolphins, even though we didn’t see dolphins but we saw tuna fish jumping out of water right in front of us! So fun, highly reco. It’s a little chilly, they also provided blankets for us.

You may or not get see dolphins. But the cruise at sunset was still very nice. Crew was very friendly

We rated this experience excellent. Overall, everything was above standard. The crew were welcoming and extremely helpful. Super friendly to everyone on the boat. Great knowledge of area. We were extremely lucky to see more than 40 dolphins close to the boat, which apparently was rare. Drinks were good, snacks were very basic, could be improved. Overall a very positive experience, however hard to find the meeting point, maybe signage would be a good idea so people know they are in the correct place. Definitely recommend to everyone who visits the area.

It was a lot of fun. We have 6 family and there were 6 others who were full of energy and a lot of fun.Would recommend.

We had a great time on onboard the catamaran. The views were beautiful, and the complimentary drinks and crisps were a lovely touch. Unfortunately, we did not see the dolphins, possibly due to the storm a few days before. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience with excellent customer service and clear directions to the meeting point. Definitely recommend ☺️

Met at the meeting point, and it went smoothly. However the plank that we used to enter the boat was a bit sketch 🤣, it’s not that deep tho, we got on saw the beautiful sea had a cruise around. Didn’t see any dolphins unfortunately, the description does say access to snorkelling equipment, which made me think we are able to jump in, but unfortunately not.

It was very peaceful and the weather was perfect. The captain pointed out a whale to us. Exactly what we were looking for. The plank to get on the boat was a little scary but the crew helped us on.

We had an amazing time on this boat trip! We were offered drinks and snack on board. We saw dolphins swimming alongside us and even spotted a gannet out at sea, which was such a surprise. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and they kindly extended the trip so we could spend more time watching the dolphins, followed by a quick dip in the sea to swim. It was a truly special experience — we couldn’t have asked for better!

What a great experience and definitely recommend this trip. Fabulous crew and friendly, caring and helpful. It’s great only 12 people on board very personal service. Knowledgable about the dolphins and we were lucky to see 5 or 6. Great value for money. When back in the area will definitely revisit this trip.

Went with a group of friends and we loved it. Saw the dolphins and swam in the sea. Highly recommend. Would do it again. Worth every penny.

The trip was ok, two hours on the Catermaran. The good, the staff where great and friendly , the small numbers (10 people) gave plenty of room to move around and the paddleboards meant we could play in the water and not just swim. It was a Dolphin watching sail, but we didn't sea any, which is fine. We understand there are never guarantees with animals in the wild and the staff explained this clearly so all good. The bad, one hour before the sail we where advised there would be a 30 min delay, not too bad and we accepted this, and was advised that in compensation they would be providing crudités. We also knew in our booking that there was a bottle of champagne on board free for the trip. So in order of disappointment. 1. We simply sailed out in a straight line to sea, stopped swam for 15 min then sailed back total time 1hr 40 min. Not 2hrs. 2. Crudités where a bowl of plain crisps... nothing else while a member of staff ate small sandwiches. 3. Beer was free, but if we wanted wine it was €20 for a bottle of rose cava. Not free. So not the worst experience, but not the best. We enjoyed a swim in the sea and views of the coast and the experience of a catamaran under sail. But don't feel it was value for money for the four people who went.

Had a super nice evening on the boat. We saw a beautiful sunset! I would definitely recommend the two-hour hike. We got a drink of your choice and then some chips in a bowl at the end. It was cold and very windy and they came with a blanket. Super friendly and definitely recommended.

Wonderful and extraordinary experience, discovering dolphins in their natural environment is just incredible. For the bravest, it is possible to swim in the open sea.

Perfect organization and very, very nice staff. And then the sun, the sea, the beautiful dolphins, and friends… I also think that twelve people is the perfect number… I recommend it.

The main interest is that the number of participants is limited compared to other boats. For the dolphins, even leaving at 10 AM at the earliest does not guarantee sightings,...

Blissful trip where we had the entire catamaran available for only 4 people. Nice sun on departure and calm water so ideal. When returning to our departure point we were accompanied for a long time by a group of exuberant playing dolphins swimming with the catamaran. Also saw a veiled sunset so our day could not be more broken. Nice experience and therefore highly recommended outside the tourist season.

Being able to enjoy the good weather starting in autumn and observe dolphins respectfully and with a magnificent crew is magnificent! And if it is also sunset time, ideal! Highly recommended with them.
