We had a wonderful time with Heather as a family - she is so knowledgeable, patient and kind, with a sense of humour and enough hustle to get a group through a crowd. We learnt a lot, ate some delicious things, had some lunchtime drinks, and were inspired. She found alcohol free and caffeine free options for our son, 10. Muchas gracias!
Rocio took us on such a memorable tour around Malaga today. She made it a fun trek around the best locations, great food & drinks and local information. We highly recommend this morning food tour, brilliant experience 👌 Cead Mile Failte to Ireland Rocio, 🇮🇪
A lovely relaximg food tour and hit all the top places in Malaga with Rocio
Fantastic tour, would definitely recommend. Heather was a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable and took us to a good variety of places that we wouldn’t have visited ourselves, and gave us a great insight into local customs and history along the way. Everything we tried was delicious!
Fantastic tour, would definitely recommend. Our host Heather was really friendly and knowledgeable, she took us to a good variety of places that we wouldn’t have gone to ourselves, and gave us a real insight into the local customs along the way. Everything was very tasty! A good pace too.
It was the best! Betsy was the best host you can have! Loved her stories! Thanks for the great night. I will do it again! Serina
This is the 3rd time we have done this tour and Betsy was the best guide by far. Interesting, informative and charming. It made for a brilliant evening. Thanks.
We’ve done food tours in other cities, but this one in Málaga stood out. It was a beautiful balance of sweet and savory – churros, olives, cheese, and finally tapas. What we appreciated the most was how much the tour supports small, local businesses. It felt very genuine.
"This was the perfect tour for me – relaxed, adventurous, and delicious. I especially loved the stop at the historic shop where we tried local cheese and salchichón. It’s the kind of experience you just can’t have on your own. Totally worth it!"
I joined this food tour on my first day in Málaga and it was the best introduction to the city. The guide explained not only the food but also many small cultural details. The market atmosphere was wonderful and the final tapas stop was a perfect ending.
We booked this tour as a group of four friends and had a blast. It was fun, relaxed, and we got to taste so many local specialties. The stories about Malaga’s history combined with food made the morning fly by. We all agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip
We were looking for something authentic and romantic to do in the morning, and this food tour exceeded our expectations. Every stop was special – from olives in the market to tapas at the end. It felt like a celebration of Málaga itself. Highly recommended for couples!
The coffee roastery was the most surprising stop for us. We had never tried different coffee varieties side by side, and learning about the roasting process was so interesting. Walking through the charming streets of Málaga in between tastings gave us a real sense of the city!
“An unforgettable morning in Málaga! We loved discovering the city through its local flavors. Starting the day with churros was amazing, but the highlight for us was the market visit with the olive oil and olive tasting. Our guide’s passion for supporting small local businesses made the whole experience feel truly authentic.”
As a solo traveler I’m always looking for ways to connect with local culture, and this tour was exactly that. From artisan roasted coffee to local nuts, cheese, and even the famous Málaga salchichón, everything felt unique. I also ended up sharing tapas with a super friendly international group at the end, which made the experience even better.
It was a fun tour of Malaga that I wouldn't have missed. The food and drinks were delicious. The guide was enthusiastic and shared interesting information. I would recommend it to everyone.
We had a great tour with Gaël who's a super friendly and knowledgeable host. Loved the foods and would recommend to anyone - also with kids aged 5/6
My family and I really enjoyed this tour--the food was amazing and we had a lot of fun, it felt like we were out with friends. Absolutely recommend!
Rocio was our tour guide. She was excellent and spoke brilliant English. We visited lots of different places and tried some lovely dishes - starting with churros, then coffee tasting followed by delicious Mollete sandwiches. Then we visited the market to sample some local produce, and visited a couple of traditional Spanish local restaurants and tried some delightful local food. The tour can take account of intolerances and preferences, and is a leisurely and informative tour. It’s really worthwhile doing this tour in Malaga and I highly recommend this tour company. Rocio contacted us afterwards and recommended some more restaurants for us to try in Malaga - she is such a lovely person.
Incredible! A gastronomic experience in one of the best areas of Málaga. We didn’t just try the best local food — we also enjoyed a selection of cafés that I’d recommend to everyone, coffee lovers or not. We started with a visit to the most iconic churrería in Málaga, where we had the best churros ever! The tour also includes a visit to a local market. A super complete tour that we 100% recommend. Oh, and the guide was fantastic! She also made sure that guests with dietary restrictions had suitable alternatives.
Such a fun and tasty tour ! Great food, local spots, and awesome guide. This morning food tour was the highlight of our trip! From the churros at Casa Aranda to the coffee tasting and local specialties in the market, every stop was delicious and authentic. A perfect intro to Málaga’s food scene. Highly recommend!
It was the perfect walking tour to spend the morning enjoying Malaga's churros, coffee roasters, morning market, and tapas. The guide, Jose, explained things in English in a way that was very easy for Japanese people to understand! Recommended
A gourmet and very friendly discovery of Malaga with Gael, a great guide. I recommend 200% for those who want to discover this city in an original way and in excellent company.
