Very enjoyable experience. The small group size of 6 is ideal and Miguel is a great guide.

We chose oletrips for Alhambra and sun and wine tour and are really pleased we did. Our guide for both trips was Miguel who was very informative, friendly and welcoming had a really good time. If we had not of chose a tour we would not have learned as much as we did. We were on the Alhambra tour with a Belgian family who were lovely and it was a mix of English, Welsh and German on the wine tour, everyone was lovely. The wine tour was fantastic as you get to go to competa first which is a gorgeous place and the locals are very welcoming, they like tourists as we keep the village going. The food and wine you get at the winery was gorgeous to in a fab setting in the shade with a cool breeze as the climate is different to the coast and the views are amazing everywhere you are taken. So thanks oletrips, Miguel and nerji we will miss you.

We were picked up at a convenient location along with others who became friends for the day! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the region and the town of Competa. He was also very accommodating. The wine tasting was at a beautiful location overlooking the fields down to the sea.

Our guide Miguel was friendly, hospitable and a real funny guy. The tour around Competa was especially unforgetable, with all of the historical and cultural facts and gorgeous views. Miguel suggested us great activities for the rest of our trip. The wine and tapas were tasty and elegant. Would recommend this tour!

Picked up on time in a very comfortable mercedes people carrier byvMiguel our very knowledgable and personabke guide. Journey to Competa was spectacular and were advised of places of interest on way. Our walking tour through Competa was amazing and Miguel was enthused to tell us about history and traditions Then onwards to a small bodega where we were shown the traditional wine making procsss. Followed by the tasting of 4 wines served with bread, local avacado, cheeses, olives,olive oil and raisins. This was fantastic. All 7 off us had the most amazing day with many photos for memories. Thanks to Ole Trips and Miguel. We shall recommend to anyone visiting this area

This was a fantastic experience! My friend and I had booked this trip well in advance, and even though others canceled, Oletrips still allowed the 2 of us to go. Miguel and Natalia picked us up at the time arranged and took ius on a winding road up through the mountains. Miguel gave a running history of the region and pointed out different things of interest. We stopped in Competa for an hour or so and we walked through the narrow streets interacting with the residents of this charming village. Miguel explained the relevance of Competa to the tour as it was a hub of winemaking and has been for centuries. He pointed out historic buildings and talked about all of the mosaics on the walls of the town. We then went to the vineyard were we met Pepe, the owner. He was the 5th generation winemaker and we learned about his vineyard and family. We met his daughter, Maria, who is now running the vineyard. We learned that they continue to press grapes in a very manual way, and that to make the very sweet Mezcal the grapes are sundried for days before pressing, whuch makws a very sweet, honey colored wine that is all natural, no sugar added. Miguel led us in tasting four different wines created at the vineyard, and paired tapas with each. This was an excellent tour and tasting, and Miguel was the perfect host and chauffer! We have been on several trips with this company, latest being the sun and wine tour. All tours are small group, well organised and executed. From Maria in the office to the tour guides everyone is very friendly. As a local company there is an in depth knowledge of the history and geography of Andalucia. Miguel took us on the wine tour today introducing us to spectacular scenery and fabulous local products. He is an excellent, knowledgable and charming guide and made the tour for our group of friends very enjoyable. Highly recommend this company.

An excellent trip, highly recommend. Miguel was timely, informative and very interesting. After the tour around the breathing taking Cómpeta, we loved the setting for delicious wine and tapas.

Our guide was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He took time to explain the area, what made it unique and interesting. He also took time to explain how different wines are made in this area. The vineyard we visited had really tasty wines and some food to enjoy with the tasting.

Whilst this is called the Sun and Wine tour, we got so much more than that. Our guide, Miguel, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region and we came away feeling that we had learned a great deal dating back to the 15th century and how there are tell tale signs, if you know where to look, that give you a fascinating glimpse into the past. The wine tasting was in an idyllic setting with views into the valley below. Afterwards there was no pressure to buy, but it was so nice I challenge you not to lol

Fantastic tour. Really interesting to learn so much of the history and culture of the area. Miguel was the perfect guide. The wine cellar was amazing and the wine was delicious. Topped off with a lovely lunch!

Another fantastic day out with Cipriano. This is our third trip with Oletrips and highly recommended. The wine tasting was magnificent. Small groups, well organised and with a lot of history. We booked the village and vineyard tour to Torrox and Competa. Miguel was a delight, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area. It’s amazing how much you don’t see when looking around! Miguel’s knowledge of history is very interesting. His humour was great, the day was not too long or stressed and the vineyard was a joy, if a bit short. Just a little tour of the press then a tasting session and then to the winery to purchase the wine at VERY reasonable prices. We bought the two sweetest for less than £20 which we thought was ok for locally grown wine not available in any supermarkets. Picked up & dropped off door to door as well. Lunch included (but buy your own drinks). Thanks Miguel & Maria.

We had a very interesting and enjoyable day out on the Sun and wine route tour. Miguel gave us lots of detail regarding the history of the area. We visited a lovely family run Bodega and sampled some lovely wine. Tour ended with a lovely meal in a local restaurant. We thought maybe a short stop for a refreshment would have made the tour perfect.

Well, what can I say except what a fabulous day we have had. From guided tours of villages to wine tasting and rounded off with a three course lunch in a village square. Miguel is a great guide and made everything interesting with his historical facts and extensive knowledge of the area. We shared our trip with two other couples and I think we all enjoyed our day together

Very informative tour when visiting the towns that you see. You actually go to a fully established winery, where you see how they make it etc. The wine is exceptional. This is followed by a three course meal in another small village. Definitely worth the money and was a great day!

Another great day out with Oletrips, Nerja! The team provides various semi private tours in Andalucia, meaning you get the best out of the experience and the chance to meet new friends. Our guide and driver for the day was Cipriano, whose knowledge and passion for the area shone through. We spent time in Torox Pueblo and Cómpeta, both beautiful and with so much history. This was followed by the wine tasting experience, which was wonderful and, again, very informative. You have the chance to buy the wine you have tasted and other local produce, but you are under no pressure to do so. Our last stop of the day was at Sayalonga for a wonderful lunch where you had a choice from the Menú del día. What a great day out! Thank Cipriano and Oletrips.

Best thing to do in Malaga. Guide, food, wine experience was absolutely amazing. You need to just do it. You won’t regret.

This was my second wine tour with this group within two weeks, one with friends, the other with family. Miguel was our guide both times. We enjoyed the tour, but although the scenery itself is fantastic, it was thanks to Miguel that the tour was so enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and does his best to involve the travellers in any discussion. He speaks English well, but was more then patient in letting me practice my limited knowledge of the Spanish language🤔. There is only one winery visit, but the process of wine making was well explained and we were given exceptional wine to taste. I ditto the complimentary comments made here by other travellers. Joan

This is the second trip we've done with Ole and it it just got better! Another two beautiful white villages, Torrox Pueblo and Competa, with Miguel as our very knowledgeable guide. Add a visit to a small family wine business and tasting of three very palatable wines, followed by a lovely lunch in a pretty village made a Grand Day Out!! Just 7 of us from 3 countries we laughed a lot and learned a lot! Thank you Ole 😊

We did the Sun and Wine Tasting day out which we can thoroughly recommend. Our team of 4 Brits were picked up at 8.45 am by our guide Miguel in Caleta followed by a couple from Norway at 9am in Nerja. We headed straightaway inland into the mountains for our first stop in Torrox Pueblo. There our walking history tour began as we weaved our way round the streets and the Old Town. We learned about the Arabic village architecture designed to keep out invaders and Almanzor, the great leader of the Moors. We admired the wonderful views straight down to the sea. Then it was on to Competa much further up into the mountains with even more spectacular views for another walking tour to learn about its history and traditions and the importance of donkeys, an absolute necessity for life back then. We had a very welcome break for coffee in Competa at about 12 noon before heading to the 5th generation family-run small bodega whose wines were selected by a group of blind wine tasters for the Spanish King's wedding 20 years ago - showing how special their wines are. Again, much information about the traditional hands-on method of wine production along with the delicious wines to taste and the small shop to browse and select products to buy from. The mountain scenery was spectacular with the almond trees blossoming into pink and white froths and the mimosa trees showing off their yellow bloom. Having become slightly tipsy, our tummies were ready for a delicious 3 course lunch in the village of Sayalonga, with plenty of choice, at about 2.30pm after which we were delivered back to our respective locations, having had a marvellous day out. Miguel was such a great guide, full of historical information (and current day facts!) great fun and a fantastic grasp of the English language. Thankyou Miguel!

Guided tours are usually of varying quality, but this tour was truly a highlight. First of all, we ended up with two couples from Liverpool, just their presence enhanced the experience. Regarding the guide and the guide's knowledge and ability to deliver interesting and relevant information, it was magnificent. He captured our attention, without being too intense. Just taking us up to the heights on those roads, would make many hesitate, but with a sure hand the guide drove us up in a very pleasant way. The walks through the different villages, how the small-scale wine production is conducted and the wine tasting afterwards, were all an incomparable experience. We are so grateful for this tour and have already thought about the next tour, when visiting Nerja. Thank you so much!

We had a fabulous day with Miguel driving us. It was very informative and we saw some interesting places but it was a very relaxing trip. Miguel made us all feel very comfortable and we had a few laughs along the way. More than that though, he just kept telling us what we were looking at with lots of history tagged into the trip. The stops were all worthwhile in the villages, bodega for wine tasting and lunch. The scenery was stunning and we would both thoroughly recommend this trip. I travelled with my partner

This was our second tour with Oletrips and again it was outstanding. A well planned small group tour which visited Torrox Cómpeta and a small family run bodega. It was all delightful but the bodega visit and wine tasting was a wonderful insight into a traditional industry hosted by the lovely Maria. Our tour guide Miguel was outstanding - charming informative and excellent company. We will certainly be booking again on our next visit - a really excellent company.

Lovely day out with Cipriano visiting a number of villages around the Nerja area. Cipriano was very knowledgeable and having such a small group made the whole experience much more personal. Visited Torrox and Competa before visiting Bodegas Almijara for some wine tasting (very nice :)) , followed by a lovely lunch to round off the trip. Would definitely recommend it and I would happily use Oletrips if I am in the area again.

Had a fantastic tour with Miguel yesterday. Great to vist some authentic places, good stops for refreshment and lunch. Miguel was brilliant guide right pace some good recommendations and funny too. Amazing vineyard would recommend. Maria very informative.

I had a wonderful day with Mikkel who showed us around in the beautiful small white painted villages. He had a good knowledge about the history of them. We stopped at several places and it was just great to taste that wine. It‘s very special and I would have never experienced something like that! Also I liked being in sich a small group cause we could get to know each other. Great experience! Book it!

Amazing day today just back from this trip . Our guide cipriano was fantastic very knowledge on the area telling us lots of interesting information answering lots of questions we had. Pickup time was perfect right in time introducing himself we were a group of 4 and we picked up another two ladies . Headed up to torrox old town for a guided walk then into competa which is beautiful quick coffee and sandwich then into the wine tasting which was great bought some lovely wine small place which was lovely . Headed into spalonga for an amazing three course lunch . Really enjoyed the day and would 100% recommend this tour and the tour company. Thank for a great day .

I was a solo traveller for the first time at the age of 70 and very nervous. Maria, in the office gave me the confidence to go on the tour and she was so lovely. I was picked up outside the office at 9am and there were 8 on the tour. Cipriano was our driver and couldn't be faulted. We all felt very safe on the narrow , winding roads. The whole trip was delightful and I especially enjoyed the history. The highlight however was the wine tasting. We were told how the different beautiful wines were made and tasted 3 different wines. All were different and all were lovely. The prices to purchase were amazingly good value. I would love to have taken more home but weight restrictions at the airport limited me to 2 bottles! This is a must tour and like me , you don't have to be knowledgeable about wines, just enjoy learning and drinking!

We booked this tour direct on Oletrips website and received immediate confirmation of the booking. The day before the trip Maria both emailed and messaged the pick-up time. We were picked up on time from our hotel by our guide Cipriano who was an excellent driver and really good company. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything about the history and culture of the region and made the whole day so enjoyable. It was like having a dear friend showing you round their home town and area. We visited Torrox Pueblo, Competa and Sayalonga where we had lunch. Each stop was different and Cipriano was fantastic and full of interesting facts about each village. We would highly recommend Oletrips, Cipriano and Maria for an unforgettable experience.

Another amazing tour with Cipriano who once again filled us with so much interesting information about everywhere we visited. The 3 wines that we tasted were very good and we even bought some to take home. We finished off the tour with another superb lunch before returning to Nerja. Cipriano is an excellent guide

It was an amazing tour, even if the sun didn't want to shine all day! The scenery and selected villages were worth the visit and I mustn't forget to mention the wine tasting at a small but very productive winery, which was excellent. Most of all Cipriano, our guide and driver was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Great tour with Cipriano - very knowledgeable and chatty who took us to places we might not have ever seen had we not been on the tour. The wine tour visit was very special - to see how much work it takes to produce the wine & the traditional methods used which has passed down from generation to generation made you very appreciative when tasting it. Last stop was lunch - the restaurant offered a good menu selection and the food was very tasty - I’d recommend the chicken on a skewer - delicious!

We did a tour with Cipriano on our last visit to Nerja and enjoyed it so much we booked two for this visit. In addition to the Sun and Wine tour, we also did the White Villages tour. Both were excellent. We are from the US and don't speak Spanish, but Cipriano's English is very good, so we had no problem understanding him. He is also a safe driver and Mercedes van he uses is comfortable for a group of up to eight. He has extensive knowledge of local culture, history and food and was able to provide comprehensive and interesting information throughout the tours. We have used many tour guides while traveling, and he is the best. The two tours went to off the beaten path places which are pretty, interesting and don't get many tourists. Both local restaurants he selected for lunch were excellent. The Oletrips office manager, Maria, was very responsive to question we had while booking and was kind enough to arrange an airport transfer between Malaga and Nerja even though that is not a service Ole provides. We highly recommend Oletrips

Totally enjoyed our trip around the three white villages with Cipriano, our guide & driver who is very knowledgeable on local Spanish history. Relaxed atmosphere with our small group of 8 people. Lovely lunch at the end of the day and being driven door to door topped off a perfect day out. Highly recommend Cipriano and Oletrips.

What a wonderful time with Oletrips doing the Sun and Wine Tour! Maria responded immediately to my last minute request to join the tour and everything was perfect. From pick up to drop off, to exploring the villages and tasting new wines from the region. Our host Cipriani was absolutely amazing, fun and so knowledgeable. Oletrips is fantastic, I would highly recommend booking with them.

Our group party 4 all enjoyed the tour. Weather was good and Cipriano (our guide) was superb🤩 Cipriano is a very calm person who take care of his clients. He pay attention to make sure everyone is find. Every explanation was simple and clear. We enjoyed being a small group (8 in total) and to visit a small family winery was more personal and pleasant. Visit of the 2 small villages was fantastic. We would certainly recommend that ‘Sun & Wine’ tour with Cipriano ❣️
