Miguel, our guide was fantastic. I came away with greater knowledge and appreciation for the history and culture of the area. He has a good sense of humor and allowed us to move us along at our own pace. The views were amazing and the food at the Lost Village was astounding! Our semi-private tour ended up as just the two of us - which was our good fortune! Miguel was a great guide, friendly and interesting with a really good knowledge of the area and the history. Frigiliana is beautiful and the tour was planned to get there before the masses of tourists arrived, enabling us to see it properly. We then drove to the Lost Village - which has now been found and mostly restored. It was really interesting to hear the history of the place during the Civil War and before. Lunch at the only restaurant in the village was absolutely epic - undoubtedly the best meal of our whole holiday. A lovely day with a great guide. Highly recommended!
Cipriano is an excellent local guide specialising in small groups. Provides the right level of information at the right pace while showing you all the things you would miss if you go solo. He answers all the questions you have. This was all finished with the Lost Village with great delicious food. Not to be missed. This was our third trip with Cypriano across 2 years.
Where do I start. Cipriano what a guy 😁 A great tour guide was punctual very informative and very easy to have a conversation with. I went to Frigilana and the lost village it was a small group which made everything much easier in my opinion. The food was part of the trip when paying online and I have to say was very tasty and most importantly healthy. Gracious senor hope to be back again.

What an amazing trip. Our wonderful guide Miguel ensured we arrived in Frigiliana nice and early to avoid the tourist crush. Very polite and knowledgeable about the area and its history. Thoughtful of my elderly mum too. The lunch in the lost village was superb and the company of our new Australian friends convivial. Thankyou to Miguel whose safe driving and courteous nature made this such a great day out.

Very good informative tour , Miguel was exceptional, kind , friendly & considerate. The drive upto El Acebuchal was a little hairy due to the terrible weather over the two previous days, but Miguel didn't show us his concern & navigated the road perfectly. Lunch was lovely & we really enjoyed chatting to Miguel. The tour still went ahead even though it was only the 3 of us. Will definitely book another tour on our return to Nerja in the future.
The tour of both of the whitewashed towns was amazing. The walking tour was full of information about these two towns with lots of history thrown in to accompany the stunning visuals. The meal at Acebuchal was excellent. And Miguel, our guide, did a wonderful job while paying attention to keeping a comfortable pace for the group. We highly recommend this tour!
This trip is such an enjoyable experience. Miguel our driver and guide was so knowledgeable and interesting. Frigiliana was delightful, after the guided walk we had a chance to browse and have coffee. We then went on to El Acebuchal further up in the hills where we had a delicious lunch, all 7 of us together! I would highly recommend this day out and we were so pleased we went. Well.. this was a fantastic trip, so glad we booked it, Miguel our driver/tour guide was amazing, so informative and clearly dedicated to his role. We were driven to The Lost Village for lunch high up in the terrain for lunch, the food was authentic and delicious. The trip was private, myself and my husband along with 3 other lovely people from The US who we spent the day with, this was a bonus and made the tour even more enjoyable. Cipriano is the best guide I have ever been around. Of say 25 guides over the years I’ve used, he is the best! Knowledgeable, experienced, and his catering to the tourists (us) was beyond expectations! All at the right price.
Lovely trip with friendly host. We really enjoyed our tour. We were picked up right beside our accommodation in time in avsuper clean and comfortable car. Our host was a competent and safe driver who had a good knowledge of the villages we visited. He worked hard as his group consisted of different nationalities. The meal included was tasty. We did the one hour Frigliana walking tour and it was AMAZING. It was the right amount of time too. Our guide was so lovely, she knew everyone in town. The city is so beautiful with quaint little streets and shops and the friendliest people. It is definitely worth the time if in Nerja or neighbouring towns.

Thus was a great tour and we'll managed. Our pick up was on time and Cipriani was professional and shared interesting info about our sights. Because we were a small group we were able to see places the large bus tours can't get to. Lunch was delicious. Wear good walking shoes and be aware there are a lot of steps.
The tour of Frigiliana was awesome and Cipriano’s passion for the history of the village and the region made for superb storytelling as we walked the narrow alleys and visited the church and small stores. And the weather was just right! The visit to the lost village (El Acebuchal) reached another level. The contrast between the history of this small village and its place in the Spanish Civil War (forced resettlement by Franco) gave us a true appreciation for the remarkable dedication and efforts of a local entrepreneur (who we met) to rebuild and restore some of the buildings into a modern accommodations for visitors who can enjoy the nearby walking trails. The lunch which featured wild boar stew, rice and local bread was washed down with a very nice beer. What a fantastic experience! Cipriano, thank you!

We were met promptly by our guide Cipriano, friendly welcome & a very safe driver - important on the rough mountain roads! He is from the local area, enthusiastic & knowledgeable. A well paced trip with time to explore Frigiliana on our own afterwards. The visit to Acebuchal felt special, such a unique place. Lunch was great, especially the very tasty homemade bread. Overall a very well organised, interesting & enjoyable trip...so much better in a small group & before the crowds arrived!
Great tour from beginning the end. My Fiance and I booked this quite last minute the evening before but even then Maria was in contact arranging out pick up point and time. Cipriano then gave us the tour, we spent a few hours in Frigiliana and then visited the Lost Village where we had the most delicious lunch. Cipriano is a very engaging guide who knew the answer to all out questions. He also sent me on photos he took of us while on the trip which was a nice touch.
A friend had suggested that we may like to secure a tour with Cipriano from Oletrips when visiting Malaga in early September. That was a fabulous recommendation as his tour of the region was outstanding ! Cipriano and his partner Maria were wonderful . Cipriano is so knowledgeable of the history of the area and both he and Maria were a delight to spend the day with. Maria stayed in contact with us from the time we made the reservation until the day of the tour and Cipriano was waiting for us when we walked off the ship! When we visit this area of Spain again we will certainly hire Cipriano! This was the BEST Tour of our vacation !!
Amazing one-day trip with a nice small group. We had visited Frigiliana before on our own, but it's absolutely advisable to go on this guided tour to get more information and discover some hidden marvelous places the guide shows us. After some free time, our experienced guide us drive us somewhere even more special. Excellent trip! About our experience, I will definitely score it 10 out of 10. Best driver and guide, superb home-made food at a charming local restaurant, nice company, and a lovely temperature (although that last point didn’t depend on the tour guide). We came along with out 5 year-old boy who also enjoyed the day and the company. :) In conclusion, 100% recommended.

The day we went to Frigiliana, there was only a small group of us, 3 in total. The tour was very personalized to all of us, and we learned so much about the history and architecture of the amazingly beautiful town, with lots of time to take pictures, shop, and explore. Cipriano knows the area like the back of his hand; he knew the exact time to show up before the crowds came in order to maximize enjoyment and truly take in the beauty of the area. After enjoying Frigiliana, the trip up to Acebuchal (the lost village) was full of amazing mountain views of the valley and the sea (though the drive up the mountain was nerve-wracking for some, Cipriano is an amazing driver). Acebuchal is very small, but insanely beautiful, and it was an honour to be invited to eat in the restaurant there and enjoy the history and the shop. The man who restored the village, Antonio, is great fun and even offered us his homemade salchichon and moscatel to try. The food in Acebuchal is amazing, I would have paid the same amount the tour is worth just for the food. You will learn so much and enjoy every minute of this experience.

We were picked up on time at the pre arranged point. The Mercedes 'people carrier' was spacious and very clean. The drive up through Frigiliana to Acebuchal was without incident and very carefully done considering the mountain roads. The tour around the beautiful village was very informative and well delivered. We ate lunch at the Acebuchal bar/restaurant, the food was excellent as were the drinks. A great and safe drive back to Nerja, all in all a very pleasant tour that we would heartily recommend. We are already planning our next one for next year, but which? Mango tour, olive oil tour or wine tour? Hmmm decisions, decisions 😊

Cipriano was a fantastic host and tour guide for a group of 8 strangers from all over the world. By the days end, we were all friends! We were each picked up from our hotel, airbnb, or predetermined spot on time. The first part of our day was a walking tour of beautiful Frigiliana. Cipriano shared details about the area and the history of the town. Following our walking tour, we were given over an hour to explore, eat, drink, or shop on our own. It was nice to have the opportunity to go back to shops or cafes that we passed earlier. After Frigiliana, we drove to El Acebuchal, had a quick walk through this once abandoned town, and Cipriano treated us to a wonderful lunch at the one restaurant in El Acebuchal, Upon completion of the tour, we were dropped at our respective residences. Highly recommend this or any of Oletrips other tours!
We went on this trip not sure what to expect but what an experience! It was wonderful we all enjoyed it and met some very nice people. Cipriano is very knowledgeable and made the trip great. On time to return to our apartment it was first class A small but diverse group had a great day The lunch was particularly good with one of the best salads we have ever had Our guide was informative but not in your face like some One needs to be fairly mobile to do the walk. Without a Guide the visit of Frigiliana and The lost Village would not have been so fascinating. Lunch was also delicious at The lost Village.
My 12-year-old daughter was also enthusiastic about the informative and entertaining guided tour of the picturesque village of Frigiliana in the small group and still raves about the delicious house bread with olive oil in the Lost Village. After an airport strike prevented my excursion companion from arriving, Oletrips easily made it possible to cancel the booked trip or convert it into another trip. I chose the latter and I did not regret that decision. It is exactly as the provider describes it. The tour takes place in a small group of 8 people. Cipriano, driver, tour guide and boss in one person, sensed exactly who his guests are and what their demands are on the trip. Accordingly, he led the tour and answered every question in a balanced, calm and professional manner. He informed about historical, geographical and did not miss the small breaks for the listeners to really grasp what was said. He almost easily succeeded in fulfilling the demands of 2 Scottish, 4 American and 2 German guests in both language and content. The El Acebuchal restaurant is also fantastically selected. My question about the name of the legendary delicious mix of fresh salad and fruit answers Cipriane with “house salad”. There was no name for it. This salad and also the subsequent main course or the homemade bread with the delicious olive oil, everything was totally delicious and actually already included in the tour price. Both the travel provider OLETRIPS and the restaurant EL ACEBUCHAL in ACEBUCHAL can only recommend my company and I. We made this wonderful tour with very good lunch on 02.06.21 with Cipriano and friends. Cipriano told us a lot of interesting and interesting things about the past and present of these two villages. He is not only an attentive guide, but also a very prudent and safe driver. A special surprise was the singing performance of Cipriano's friend in the church of Frigiliana, to whom we listened devoutly. It was an all-round successful day and we look forward to further excursions with Cipriano.
