Exceptional tour guide! Our entire extended family (from ages 11-80) agreed that Jesus was by far the best guide we had on our entire 2 week trip through Spain. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and personable, he was also very accommodating to the wide age range of our group. He was very communicative prior to the tour and was flexible during the tour, which was much appreciated. We learned so much about the history and culture of Ronda and we were shown the most breathtaking vantage points of this beautiful city. We give Jesus our highest recommendation!

We started our tour at 9, before the other tourists arrived. It was delightful to have the amazing views and sights to ourselves! We enjoyed an easy banter with Jesus. Our tour with Jesus was great! He’s a local so he is very knowledgeable about all things Ronda… He was prompt, professional and patient. We were a large group that included adults, teenagers and kids and he made efforts to engage the kids and to bring us to sights that would interest the younger folks. Everyone enjoyed the time we spent with him. And at the end of the tour, he suggested a local restaurant which was some of the best food we’ve had on our trip! 100% recommend this tour if you are in the area.

We happened to be traveling during the rainy season in Malaga. We heard Ronda was a must see so we booked a tour through Viator & can’t say enough about our guide Jesus. He reached out a couple days before our scheduled tour & stayed in touch with us answering all our pre-tour questions. I can’t remember when we’ve had a better tour guide. He easily handled everyone in our group of 16 family members including five who are fluent in Spanish, who have lived in Madrid for five months, and a non-Spanish-speaking three-year-old and everyone in between. A very enjoyable and illuminating three hours in Ronda by an experienced local guide. I would go as far as to say that this was the best tour we have ever booked (and there have been dozens). At the end, there were excellent recommendations for restaurants and concerts.

Jèsus introduced us to this amazing city on our first afternoon in Ronda and we fell in love with this beautiful place. Jèsus not only was knowledgeable about the history, and had interesting stories to share, he gave us great suggestions about other things to do and places to eat during our visit. Jesús was a very engaging, charming, and enthusiastic host who shared his deep knowledge and love for the beautiful town of Ronda. We particularly loved the tour of the bullring. As a native Rondeño he has homegrown perspectives and insights about the sport, and art, of bullfighting. He was fun and funny, and made sure to find shady spots to stand or sit!

It was fascinating to learn more about the bullring, the history, and local culture. The insights were really enlightening. Additionally, we loved the personal anecdotes you shared with us. They added a special and unique touch to the experience. Our children were engaged and enjoyed you which is one of the primary measuring sticks for us. Lastly, I wanted to thank you for recommending Casa Maria. We had an outstanding lunch there, the food was delicious. What a truly fabulous tour! Jesus was an excellent host, sharing His Ronda with us enthusiastically and thoroughly. Days before the tour, he reached out via WhatsApp to confirm details and meeting location, and even encouraged us to ask for recommendations for dinner and such through the app after our tour. He took us around the city and would have had ample to share WITHOUT the extras he offered, but we took him up on both the bull ring and the cathedral ($9/per person on Bull Ring and $3/per person at the cathedral). In both cases he offered excellent insights that brought the places to life while other families looked around without much help painting the picture; a must do. He even offered some behind the scenes at the Cathedral including 360° views from the top! Jesus shared many details and also was very intentional about including and engaging our kids (9 and 12) with his insights; they were super pumped. Highly recommended!

During our trip through Andalusia we stopped in Ronda for one day. I’m so glad we hired Jesus to walk us through the city. We learned so much history and he pointed out the best spots for photos. Ronda is a beautiful city with a rich history and he made it come alive for us. Jesus (Miguel Jesus) was an outstanding tour guide for our visit to Ronda. We did the tour with him on our first day because we wanted to get a good understanding of places we should see in more detail, and we wanted his personal suggestions for restaurants. His English is excellent, he is extremely personable, and as a native of Ronda, he was a wonderful guide who could easily adapt the tour to our needs and interests. His advice to us about how best to see the bull ring (from the rooftop bar across the street at sunset) was spot on- we did it twice! His suggestions on restaurants were also great- Some amazing ones like Tropicana - amazing meal- and Quinto Trama (very small, local) were perfect for us. We would never have discovered these on our own. Highly recommend his tour!
