We had an amazing experience on this tour from Málaga. With only four people in our group, it felt wonderfully personal and relaxed. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the contrast between Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas made the day truly special. Our guide was fabulous—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the tour. Everything was well organised, and we thoroughly enjoyed discovering these remarkable Andalusian destinations. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable day trip with stunning scenery and a fantastic guide!

Emilio was an awesome guide. He was very knowledgable and made sure that everyone’s needs were adressed
Great experience. Our guide Chesko was excellent and provided a wealth of information.
We had a great time on this trip! Our group was around 8 people in a van. The guide was personable, knowledgeable, and provided lots of good information throughout. Both cities have their distinct appeal and we got some amazing photos to remember everything. We also had time to partake of the local culinary offerings and to take advantage of great prices of leather goods and other handmade items.
It was a perfect day! First seeing the landscape during the drive and then scrawling through the villages. Chesko was a very friendly and humerus tour guide, answering our questions and giving us interesting facts about the places. Also very flexible 🌸
An excellent small group experience (7 people) with Emilio, a very knowledgeable guide. It was like being with friends and a great host.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Emelio was a fantastic guide- very personable and knowledgeable. The group size of 7 worked really well, helped by being lucky to travel with lovely people. Good itinerary with some flexibility on timings so you felt able to enjoy without feeling rushed.
Perfect in every way. Small group with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Everything was on time and very well organized
We had a lovely day in Ronda with a very good guide. We really liked the old town.
Unique location…like nothing else! Excellent and well-informed guides, great trip! Would not hesitate to book again.
Emilio was our guide and driver, he was amazing, has lots of information to share, semi private trip was just 4 people, made our day and trip worthwhile.
Enrico of Travel Factory Andalusia was a marvellous guide, very knowledgeable, informative and considerate of his guests.
Be prepared for a lot of walking so ware comfortable shoes. It was a beautiful beautiful experience and we loved the sites and history. Manu was a great tour guide.
Brilliant day. If you don't want a crowded coach trip, this is the tour for you. Easily accessed by taking the coastal train (c1 line) to Malaga from resorts like Fuengirola and Torremolinos. Emilio contacted us the morning of the trip to confirm meeting point and we had fantastic day with him. His knowledge of the area was brilliant and we saw things that we wouldn't have found on our own.
Small group tour with an exceptionally knowledgeable and kind guide. Can’t recommend enough- so worth the time and money.
Emilio was outstanding ! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. This excursion was well worth it ! We definitely recommend it.
We had a great experience on this tour. Being a small group certainly made it easier as there was no jostling for position to hear the guide. Our guide was very good with a lot of fun facts. Ronda itself is beautiful the bridge and the gully are so gorgeous. Setenil was such a lovely unique town also - the cars in those narrow streets are quite a sight. I can't imagine driving through them.
Setenil de las Bodegas is quite different. Manu took us beyond the Sol and the Sombra. Try the payoyo cheese. Ronda has grown so much since I was here about 30 years ago. It was still spectacular the second time around. Manu has so much to share. He was quite careful about giving us the truth about a place vs what a touristy story.
Excellent day out. Group of 6 very friendly passengers and our excellent travel guide Manu. Manu kept us entertained all day and adapted things to take in extra requests. I would highly recoiment a visit to Setenil & Ronda and if you do choose Travel Factory.
Emilio’s knowledge and enthusiasm made this day trip extra special. Thank you so much for a fantastic day .
Our Ronda tour was truly one of the highlights of our entire Spain trip. The dramatic views from Puente Nuevo and the El Tajo gorge were absolutely breathtaking, and every corner of the old town felt like stepping into a storybook. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Ronda’s history and culture. We learned so much about the city’s Moorish roots, its bullfighting traditions, and the legends behind its stunning architecture.
We met our guide: Manu, at the appointed hour and left to drive to the towns of sentinel and Ronda. The drive was interesting because our driver took the time to point out specific items along the way. We arrrived at Sentinel and were expertly guided through the various caves and roads of the town. The natural beauty was breath taking and Manu spent a lot of time bringing us to the perfect spots for photos. If you wish to spend time exploring a unique village, this is the spot to go! And the guides at Travel Factory Andalucia are the folks that you need to provide the guidance! They are patient, knowledgeable, and take great pride in telling the stories of the places that you visit. You are on a schedule but not rushed! The streets are low slope on the lower side but rather steep on the upper, so good walking shoes and strong legs are required! Also, bring water. The temps are quite high! The second destination was Ronda and we spent considerable time walking the streets, hearing about and viewing the many wonders of that place. It is not quite as hilly but lots of walking around to reach each spot. So, again, good shoes. Spend some time viewing the bridge as it is a remarkable structure? As for our guide Manu, he was personable, gracious, obliging, knowledgeable, funny, articulate, and a perfect fit for the type of tour taken by our group. We had a semi private of six persons. Lots of space. Good air con. A comfortable ride. The Folks at the Travel Factory have their act together and provide an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend them if in Malaga, Spain and looking for adventure!
Good tour. There is a bit of walking during the hot afternoon hours. Shops to eat / shop and interesting historical town
Absolutely stunning small group tour. Emilio our guide felt like an old friend by the time we ended the excursion! So much was learned about the history and culture of this area. I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again and would highly recommend him. This type of tour is well worth a little extra for a personal more informative experience with like minded travellers.
On our March 26 2025 excursion with Travel Factory's Emilio from Malaga to Setenil de las Bodegas and Ronda, we had 7 English-speaking tourists . The pick up at the meeting point at the Pompidou Museum was prompt and went smoothly. During this trip, Emilio was friendly and engaging with all of us. Emilio answered all of our questions. Emilio also gave us inciteful information about the history, culture and politics of the local area, the larger region and the country. His energy and enthusiasm made this trip so enjoyable. During our time in Setenil de las Bodegas Emilio took us to different viewpoints of the town. While in Ronda, Emilio brought us to spots that gave us different angles of the gorge and the bridges spanning it. In Ronda, we had free time for lunch and at the end of the tour before our return trip to Malaga.
This tour was first class. We got to see so much during the tour. Emilio our tour guide was excellent. It felt like going on a tour with a friend rather than a guide. His knowledge of the places visited and seen was amazing and he took his time and explained everything and answered any questions we asked. The pace of the tour is easy going which is good and as it is a small group, it felt more relaxed. Thank you for a great day out!!!
This is a full day of exploration. Emilio picked up our group of 7 in a nice Mercedes van. He drove us to Setenil, where we spent about an hour walking that amazing little town where many homes and businesses are embedded against giant overhanging rocks. Then on to Ronda which was larger and even more beautiful than expected. Emilio did a great job of communicating the logistics of our trip both before and during the trip. He is a native of the area and clearly passionate and knowledgeable about its culture and history. His English is excellent so it was a pleasure to listen to him; he’s easy to understand. The tour was just the right mix of group exploration and time on our own. Also, Emilio was very generous with his time. He asked if we needed to be strict about the time. Since no one had an evening commitment, we weren’t rushed at all.
Manu was great. It was a fun day and had a great time. We walked through Setinel de Las Bodegas and Ronda. Wonderful trip. Great guide.
Emilio took time to give us detailed information including a great deal of historic information. He took as much time as we wanted. Amazing guy!
We were attracted to this tour because it's small - max 8 people - and started at 10am, 90 minutes later than most. Good choice! We met Manuel in centre of Malaga by the Pompidou cube. There were only four of us that day, so there was tons of room in his Mercedes van. He was a great guide: super informative, relaxed and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sentenil de las Bodegas and Ronda, two beautiful and fascinating Andalucian towns.
This was one of our bucket list of things to do. Firstly, we had a great guide in Manu, he was on time and gave us the greatest news possible that this tour would be equivalent to a private tour as some other guests had cancelled their booking. He explained our itinerary very thoroughly highlighting the reasons why we would visit Serenity first and then Ronda which turned out to be the correct decision due to the weather. Both places were really a sight to behold, though for me Ronda was truly amazing. My wife and I really enjoyed this tour and will make every effort to book with Manu again if ever we are back in Spain
Amazing tour! Emilio is so very knowledgeable and passionate about Spanish history and culture. We had a wonderful day!
Emilio our tour guide was wonderful! Passionate about his home country and very informative. Was a great day, highly recommend Emilio
our guide Emilio was the best.... knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job..... and the towns were amazing... what more could you want
Emilio was so much fun as our guide. Very informative, professional and adaptive. We have a lovely day with great views driving as well as touring. Two beautiful cities to visit and as always never enough time to explore. I guess we will have to go back again and stay! Comfortable ride and great friends we met. Highly recommend for getting out of the city and exploring the countryside. Love the small group experience.
Well organised from start to finish. Juan, our guide for the day, went above and beyond to meet the needs of each person on the trip. Great day, spectacular views and interesting commentary throughout. Brilliant!
This was one of the greatest day trips I have ever been on! And while Setenil and Ronda speak for themselves (in terms of how stunning they are), it was our guide, Juan, who truly made the day special. I was with my mom and sister, and Juan fit right into our group, almost seeming like he'd always been part of our family. My mom is pushing 70, so it was a bit difficult for her at times to walk the uphill, cobblestoned streets of Setenil or Ronda, especially in the August heat. But Juan truly made us feel like we were at a relaxed pace - always taking the time for us to rest and regroup. He was so knowledgable about both locations, allowed us to take all the time we needed for pictures and videos, and communicated so many interesting facts and histories to us. Setenil is probbaly considered the "undercard" of this tour, but we actually liked it a bit better then Ronda. It is both majestic and quaint at the same time. And Ronda was indeed spectacular - especially the New Bridge. This trip is a must do from Málaga!
Excellent tour, Juan got the whole pace of the tour just right and was an excellent driver & guide, we were only a group of seven and everything went perfectly, if you are thinking of doing this then i cant rate travel factory andalucia highly enough.
This was a fantastic tour and I highly recommend it.Emilio was our expert guide and driver for the day and we were a small group of 7 which was perfect. Emilio has a wealth of knowledge of the area making the tour so interesting. Nothing was rushed throughout the day. We had plenty of time for lunch when we reached Ronda. Ronda was amazing and Setenil was a lovely surprise.
This was a really great way to explore the area a bit outside of Malaga that I likely wouldn’t have thought to visit on my own. Emilio was a fantastic and enthusiastic guide, giving our small group insights into Spanish culture and the histories of Setenil de las Bodegas and Ronda. Walking through the narrow streets and taking in the beautiful scenery of these truly unique places was well worth the time. Our guide did a great job with an unexpected language challenge with our group, and we all ended up having a wonderful time thanks to Emilio’s flexibility and ability to accommodate to the needs of his guests.
Many gave us a great tour. It was more than we expected. We all had a great time seeing the sights too to bottom! You should not miss Ronda!
It was informative and we had enough free time in any place , on time and good luck with other trips
This trip to Ronda and Setenil was truly amazing. Our tour guide Manuel was also our driver. He expertly drove us first to the tiny town of Setenil which is beautiful. The caves overhanging the homes in the town and the views from high above are spectacular. Manuel gave us so much of the history of the town and area. After strolling through the town we got back in the van and went on to the city of Ronda. We had time to go have lunch then begin our walking tour. The old part of the town is magnificent. We walked to the park that overlooked the valley first. Once again, the views are breathtaking. Next we walked further in to the old town to see the bridge. What a thrill! The gorge below is outstanding. We walked through the old streets and learned more of the history from Manuel. We eventually made our way back to the van and headed back to Malaga. It was a long day but very worth it. Manuel is a brilliant guide. Don’t miss out on this small group tour.
Great tour of two interesting towns. Ronda is more well known and pretty spectacular, while Setenil is very small but quite unique. Our guide was Manu, very friendly and knowledgeable. The day was well organized, we saw a lot but never felt rushed. Highly recommend.
My husband and I were only interested in visiting Ronda, but Setenil de las Bodegas was a nice surprise. The houses built into the cliffs were fascinating. Manu was both our driver and tour guide. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly enjoys meeting new people and being a tour guide. There was a total of 5 of us on this tour. He liked it when we asked questions and we enjoyed his enthusiastic answers. If you book this tour, I hope you get Manu!
A slower paced smaller tour that allows you to enjoy your day. The guides are friendly and helpful, and provide intetesting history. Sentinel is a beautiful little town with unique geological features. Fun to walk about and imagine times in the past. Ronda is a bit bigger, perched on top of a large cliff. There are stunning views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. A highlight is the famous Ronda bridge.
We enjoyed our day, it’s very interesting and informative you you get to see some of the country side, our tour guide was very good too. The views from Ronda are amazing. You also have some free time in Ronda to get some lunch and sample the local cuisine.
Setinil was very unique and interesting. It was a very different and pleasant visit. The contrasts beotween the two sides of the village were amazing.
The views were amazing ! The history told by our guide was fascinating! Highly recommend this SMALL group tour.
The tour was fabulous. Both Setenil and Ronda are worth seeing. The views are extraordinary. Better yet was our guide who was extremely knowledgeable, personable and humorous. He had many stories of the regions both true and fictional and he included many of his own personal stories. Manuel was more interested in making sure that we Came away with an appreciation of this area and his country than watching his clock. He asked us as we were starting the tour if anyone had to be back on time or if it was Ok if the tour ran over. I would not hesitate recommending this tour to anyone. You will love it.
