Plaza de la Marina is a plaza in the Centro district of the city of Malaga, Spain. It constitutes one of the nerve points of the city, since two important axes intersect here: the Alameda Principal and the Paseo del Parque with some of the busiest streets in the historic center, such as Calle Molina Lario, and with the main access to the Port from Malaga.
One of the jewels of the Spanish Renaissance looks out to sea. History, art and faith are manifested together in the Holy Cathedral Church Basilica of the Incarnation of Malaga. Its extensive history comes from the Greater Mosque on which it was built. From there, the result of its different construction stages and styles make it a majestic Renaissance-Baroque Cathedral with a Gothic vocation. Delve into its interior, see its beauty, enjoy its unique “siloesca” structure and the great artistic and heritage wealth it treasures. Don't miss any detail of its catechetical Capilla Mayor, its magnificent canvas of the Virgen del Rosario created by Alonso Cano, its popular Virgen de los Reyes or its old Gothic altarpiece of Santa Bárbara. Go to the choir and feel the spirituality of one of the main sculptural ensembles of the Spanish Baroque.
The University of Malaga or, according to its acronym, UMA, is a publicly-owned higher education institution founded in 1972. Nearly 40,000 students study there and about 2,450 teachers work.

This Castle, built in the 14th century to house the troops and protect the Alcazaba, is today one of the most visited moments in Malaga where you can walk through its walls with impressive views of Malaga, or enter its Interpretation Center to discover his story. It receives its name from a lighthouse on its top (Jabal-Faruk, mount of the lighthouse). Although it was used by Phoenicians and Romans, it would be the Nasrid king Yusuf I in 1340 who would make this settlement a fortress. In the reconquest it suffered the siege of the Catholic Monarchs during the summer of 1487 and Fernando del Católico made it his temporary residence after the victory. In addition, he designated the castle as an element of the city's coat of arms.

We have had guests staying with us in Mijas who had never been to Malaga City before. So we decided to treat them to the Tuk Tuk Tour. It was such a fun outing and a great way to see part of this wonderful City. Carlos, our tour guide, smashed it! He provided us with ample information and fun. He sent us lots of information regarding good restaurants, and museums too. All super helpful. We definitely recommend booking this trip.
We have arrived to Malaga and decided to do sightseeing tour right away to get acquainted with the city. Alberto was our driver/guide who spoke very well, knows the city out and about, told us a lot of interesting facts, stories and history, answered all our questions, and was an excellent driver. We took bunch of awesome photos, and learned a lot. We recommend this tour, it is a great start for any traveler.
TUK TUK ride was great, quite was great we had a good time, but too much traffic dipped into our time. but not their fault
Great over view of the city & area. Definitely glad we did the 2 hour tour. Was a good way to get a feel of the whole city.
Our guide Marcos was very kind and friendly. We learned all sorts of interesting facts and histories behind different parts of the city we otherwise never would have known about or visited. Also highly recommended as an activity for individuals with more limited mobility. Strongly recommend the tour for anyone interested in learning more about Málaga’s history and culture (and good tips on various places to visit).
Open air transportation and very fun Great way to get an orientation to Malaga Driver allows for many interactions and provides key information
We fully enjoyed the 2 hours tour through the city, enabling to explore less touristic areas, while Marcos shared nice stories about the past and present of the vibrant Malaga.
What a fantastic thing to do in Málaga. We were only there for a few days and Juan really made our experience. He told us lots of interesting things about Málaga that we may be er have known and was so friendly and warm. Can't fault this and would highly recommend
I did the tuk tuk malaga tour on Saturday with 3 friends. The tour was one of our highlights from our time in Malaga. The tour guide was friendly with a good knowledge of the area taking us to all the tourist hotspots as well as areas to see traditional manalga. I will be recommending this trip to my friend who is visiting Malaga next month.
Our TukTuk tour through Málaga with Carlos was an absolute highlight—his driving was smooth, and his storytelling brought the city’s history and landmarks vividly to life. We especially appreciated his warm personality and the way he tailored the experience to our interests, making every stop engaging and memorable. Carlos’ excellent recommendations for places and restaurants to visit afterwards gave us the perfect local touch to continue enjoying Málaga long after the tour ended.
The company gave great meet up directions. Carlos met us promptly. He was full of fun facts as well as city information. A delightful two hours with the best guide!
This tour is a Very good plane. Comfortable, nice Guia, good price, we learned too much. I repeated this tour
That Viator gives terrible description about pickup point. Tuk Tuk driver, Carlos, was very good and knowledgeable.
Fun and the tour was patient with us old folks. LOL. Very informative and a great way to go sightseeing with private fun.
We had a great tour. Miguel was very personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company
Wonderful tour of Malaga. See all you need to see in the brief time you're in port on a cruise. Anna was terrific! So knowledgeable and friendly. She set a very high bar for all future tour guides! We felt like family when the your was over. Highly recommend. Wish we could give her more than 5 stars!
Adriano was very good. He was informative and friendly. He knows a lot of facts and history. There isn’t a lot to see, however. It was a good way to spend an hour and orientates you if you haven’t been to the city before. We really like Malaga - we’ve only flown in and out of there before.
A fun, informative and friendly tour. Our guide Alberto was excellent. A great way to see some parts of the city you might otherwise miss. The personal touch when visiting the fishermen's houses was very moving. Would highly recommend.
A great tour from our driver Alberto, who was very knowledgeable. We had a fun and informative trip round Malaga in the Tuk Tuk. Excellent communication from the provider too. Highly recommend
Absolutely loved it, our guide Jamie was super informative and enthusiastic. Great way to see the city. Tour company also kept us up to date with pick up location. Would certainly recommend. Thank you
Old fishing part east of Malaga.. tour guide was brilliant. One thing to add to trip could be some cold drinks.
Informative guide Interesting sites Comfortable tuk tuk Extra tips as to what to see in Malaga Pick up on time Pick up location good
Amazing experience and great way to see Malaga in a short time. We were with our young children and wanted a tour that would keep them engaged - they loved it! Our driver, Jimmy, was knowledgeable and friendly- he really made the tour interesting. Great communication from the company too. Highly recommend.
Jaime was awesome! Very knowledgeable and knew everyone we encountered, he was definitely a local. It was a great experience and would recommend to anyone new to Malaga.
A fun way to see Malaga and its hidden gems up high! Our tour guide/driver Jimmy was great, spoke good English and full of lots of fun facts too! Highly recommend.
What a brilliant and unusual way to visit the hidden gems of Malaga! Our tour/driver Jimmy was great, had plenty of knowledge and fun facts on our tour. Comfy ride too!
Our guide was fantastic! He described the history of Malaga inngreat detail. In one hour, we got a great survey of Malaga.
Tour guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Malaga and the significance of each area we explored.
Good 2 hour tour, saw out of the main stream places. Our guide was very informed and shared it all. The only drawback of the tour is he spent too much time talking about the restaurants available in one area. We told him we were not interested in restaurants and had to move on. Otherwise all good.
The Tuk Tuk tour of Malaga was really enjoyable. Our guide Alberto was super friendly and his local and historical knowledge was first class, the whole experience was fun and informative and I would highly recommend it. Thanks Alberto and team we had a great time
My guide Hymie was amazing. I am a mobility challenged, senior citizen, traveling by myself to the wonderful city of Málaga. Unable to walk very far I selected the tuk-tuk tour. I was absolutely blown away by how fabulous this experience was I had two hours of the best time ever Hymie was amazing, he said to call him Jimmy if if I wanted to and I alternated between Jimmy and his Spanish name. He spoke perfect English, and took me to places that were impossible to see if I was on a giant tour bus. He looked after detail, including having to find a bathroom for me at this fancy hotel. If you want some thing that is unusual and absolutely fabulous do not hesitate to book this tour.
A must to do in Malaga with an expert guide. The views are amazing. Our guide spoke perfect English & told us things we didn’t even know about Spain as well, a lot of history. It’s the 2nd time I have done the tour. Loved it.
This short tour gave us a really different view of Malaga, just beautiful. We had done the walking tour and of course spent time in the city in the Larios section but this was very different. Our guide was great and shared his thoughts and his love for this place. Definitely worth it.
What a great way to see part of Malaga. We did the 1 hour tour. Much more pleasant than the tour bus. Jaime was such a good driver/host/tour guide and was pleasant and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
I feel like Alberto filled us in more on the local ways of Malaga. We really enjoyed learning about the local traditions, foods and different ways of preparing foods. He was an excellent guide and answered all of our questions . It was a quick way to get your bearings.
Our tour guide Adriano was very professional, knew the history and was able to answer questions and share experiences. We learned and saw Malaga from a different perspective...and we rode far from the city center!!
We've just spent a long weekend in Malaga ,we decided to book a tuk tuk tour and it was fab Our guide Jimmy was really passionate about the history of Malaga and in the hour tour took us to all the points of interest, the views from the top at Gibalfaro were fantastic Highly recommended if you're visiting
It was wonderful! Our driver, David, was informative and took us on a fabulous tour of Malaga and it was better than we ever expected. He was fun, kind and a perfect guide.
Adriano was our guide/driver and his English was great (we are Americans - family of 4 with 2 well-traveled teenagers and both teens speak Spanish fluently but because they are still teenagers, they can be a bit difficult to keep entertained). For 3 out of the 4 us, it was our first time to Málaga so I booked this tour to get a quick lay of the land and it was just the right amount of time to get to understand the main parts of Málaga and learn what/where locals eat. Since we are well-traveled, we already had an idea of what we like to do and what we don't like to do when we vacation so this tour allowed us to prioritize how we wanted to spend our vacation in Málaga. Also, I highly recommend the TukTuk on hot weather days like we're currently experiencing as you can see so much more without the intense heat of walking or doing it by Segway.
Great fun and excellent way to see most of Malaga's sites if you don't have a lot of time. We went back and 'did' the Cathedral.
What a fantastic activity to celebrate my nieces 40th birthday with her family of four and my husband . Super clean and modern TUk Tuk that dodged around Malaga city and the outer reaching areas. Easy booking and the attentive drivers Jaime and Eduardo impressed my family with their attention to detail on the roads and their knowledge of the city and it’s history. Thoroughly enjoyable time and would recommend everyone to give it a try next time they are in the city.
We really enjoyed The Tour with Eduardo! He knows So much from The City, and he’s a very friendly guide: BIG 5 ⭐️ I really would recommend it.
What an amazing tour. Saw lots of great sites, and our guide was amazing. A must do in Malaga. We highly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful place.
Really enjoyed the trip. Eduardo was very informative. We saw a lot of Malaga that we would not have seen. It was good fun.
Fantastic experience for a not TOO long overview of Malaga. Our host/driver Eduardo was the perfect balance of fun and informative. Highly recommend!
It was fantastic. The driver was really nice and show us the nice places. Also the secret places. Muchas gracias
We really enjoyed our tuk-tuk tour in Malaga with our excellent tour guide, Adriano. He was very friendly and give us a lot of information about Malaga. It was a lovely way to see this beautiful city. Would definitely recommend this
Our tour guide Adriano was very friendly and natural. He made our hours tour very enjoyable and informative for myself and daughter. We wished we’d booked the longer one but at least we know all the hi lights of Malaga and where to visit. Smooth ride too. Highly recommend
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Malaga today, mainly because of our excellent tour guide Adriano He showed us so many beautiful parts of Malaga, and was very professional and knowledgeable in his description of the various areas of the city If you are visiting Malaga, or did you have an opportunity we strongly recommend the Viator Tuk-Tuk tour but be sure you request Adriano as your guard
